Wisdom of the Path: The Beautiful and Bumpy Ride to Healing and Trusting Our Inner Guide by Yasmine Cheyenne is an encouraging book about trusting our own self, our own journey, and our inner wisdom. This was a helpful book, just like the author's previous book and her instagram account. Thanks to NetGalley for the free digital review copy. All opinions are my own.
This book is the one! Yasmine’s storytelling and tenderness is beautiful, inviting, and direct. Be real with yourself, gentle with yourself, and notice what your path is trying to help you learn. I loved it.
This book was amazing, it truly helps readers work towards living their highest selves. I took a lot away from this book personally, Yasmine provided actionable and attainable goals for readers to use so that once they ended the book, they would have real work to begin. It was also a guide that was relatable because Yasmine used her personal experiences to move the book forward and not appear too judgemental of other people's problems. I think readers will gain so much from this book; I know I did.
A moving guide to allowing, sitting with the bad moments, learning to forgive and what it does to move us forward. If you've already been "doing the work," Yasmine will show you how to get to the next level.
A really good book for those who are struggling in this life. The author shares wisdom that she’s picked up along the way in hopes of letting others see that they aren’t alone in their struggles.
Thanks to NetGalley and HarperOne for an ARC of this book.
What a lovely book. We all go through hard times, but sometimes feel we walk the path alone. This book shows that you CAN get through, and that you aren't alone. This book was peaceful, inspiring, and I know that I'll read it again. I plan to buy a copy for my daughters as well.
Thank you to HarperOne and NetGalley for a digital ARC of this title in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
I was sent this book directly to my email through NetGalley. I decided to give it a go since it seemed like a book I may get something out of.
I did not finish this. The book is well written and I believe could be very helpful for others, but at this time in my life it is not a book that I needed. I could see pouting myself into this in a time of grief though!
I enjoyed this book a lot. It was nice reading the things that we had in common, and as I read this book I kept thinking I wish this book was written when I was going through the many phases of my journey. It is very helpful, so that you know you aren't the only one going through things like this.
This isn't a guide for your journey, it is a book to find comfort, and when you are struggling trying to make it through your journey to get to where you will come out when you make it through, it is encouragement that you can make it through, so don't give up. I think so many women feel alone going through parts of their journey, so I hope they find this book, and when they feel alone, or are struggling, this will help them find peace, it will quiet them so they know they will make it and move on.
I received an ARC from HarperOne through NetGalley.
'Wisdom of the Path' by Yasmine Cheyenne is a comforting and inspiring book about healing yourself and finding your inner strength during tough times. Cheyenne, who knows a lot about mental wellness and self-healing, shares her wisdom in a way that's easy to relate to. I enjoyed the personal stories and especially the reflections on motherhood and the daily balancing act of being a working parent.
The book is built around four main ideas: base camp, intent, walk the talk, and lessons learned. These guideposts help readers navigate their personal journeys. Through stories of grief, heartbreak, joy, and overcoming challenges, Cheyenne encourages us to use the wisdom we've gained in life to face new challenges ahead. This is an encouraging read for those who wish to reconnect to their self-confidence, self-belief and inner guide. Cheyenne's book is a source of comfort that reminds us that while life gets tough we have to keep going and remember we’re not as alone as we sometimes feel. Cheyenne’s warm and relatable writing helps us embrace life’s ups and downs, knowing each experience makes us wiser.
Cheyenne’s insights help calm our minds and give us the peace we need to move forward. This is a great book for anyone looking for comfort and a renewed sense of hope on their journey. It reminds us that we have the strength and wisdom to overcome life’s challenges and inspires us to never give up. Thank you to the author and publisher for the e-arc copy!
