The Adventures of Asva at The Volcanoes of Hawaii
by Niyati Goel

'The Adventures Of Asva at The Volcanoes of Hawaii' is an adventure children's book about a young boy named Asva who gets to set out on an adventure in the volcanoes of Hawaii with his blogger parents.

Honestly speaking I did not enjoy the book as the adventure part of it was a bit dry.It felt like I was reading myself a lullaby instead of an adventure.

A great children's book that takes readers on a captivating journey filled with adventure and valuable lessons. Asva, the eight-year-old protagonist, embarks on a surprise trip to Hawaii, where he discovers the beauty and power of nature. Guided by local characters Hale and Malia, Asva's exploration of the legendary Volcano Goddess, Pele, adds a touch of mystique to the narrative. The unexpected twist in the story adds suspense, making it a perfect read for young minds eager to learn about both the excitement and consequences of exploration.

Strap in for a volcanic ride with The Adventures of Asva at The Volcanoes of Hawaii! This children's book is not your average bedtime story; it's a wild journey that combines adventure, suspense, and a touch of mischief. Asva, our eight-year-old daredevil, takes an unexpected trip to Hawaii, and with the help of locals Hale and Malia, dives headfirst into the secrets of the island's volcanoes. From the legendary Volcano Goddess, Pele, to hidden paths leading to active craters, Asva's escapade is a rollercoaster of thrills and spills. Trust me, this book is not just for kids – it's a volcanic eruption of fun that'll have you on the edge of your seat, wondering what mischief Asva will get up to next!

I thought this was going to be more realistic because it started out with a family getting to take a trip to Hawaii. The parents are travel bloggers so the kid knows how to appreciate new places, and their adventures start by learning about the geological features of the land. Then we learn about the mythology related to the island and we see a deity in action.
The book was short and these were some of the most gorgeous pictures I've ever seen. I wanted more of the mythology and the story
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
