I liked the book really much and I am for sure going recommend it to my friends.
I was laughing out loud multiple times, Henry and Serena are just a really funny couple.

I read this before the first book in the series, so now I am siting back with a weird feeling. I am both super happy that I still have the first book (and hopefully also the third book soon) to read but I am also super sad that I won’t read about henry (at least I suppose sins she first meets him in the book)

The whole idea of the book is so interesting, and I really hope that I can find more books where somebody switches bodies.
I also really liked that they could get to know each other so well, and that she couldn’t hide why she acted the way she did, as so many other main characters tent to do.

As I have said way to many times now I really liked the book.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I thought this was a smart and fun take on the "Freaky Friday" trope. I loved the breaking of the 4th wall, too. I also thought the author gave us several funny moments while touching on more complex topics.

When Serena & Henry meet, it's instant love. However, Serena has insecurities about love and relationships and runs away from him. The only love she's comfortable with is her love for Science. She can't run for long though, because Henry's her new boss! 1.5 years later, An electrical storm causes chaos & they wake up in the wrong body.

The rest of this book brings us along as they try to solve this problem while navigating some major family events!

Will they figure out how to switch back? Because they are running out of time!

Narration: I enjoyed the narrator, but I wish the entire book was done in either duel or duet. That's a personal preference of mine, but we only get a quick taste of it near the very end, and I think it would have made the narration more immersive. I also expected duet since there were 2 narrators listed.

First thank you Netgalley for letting me get this little audio early! I fell in love with it and the narrators!

I did not read/listen to the first book in the Ghosted series, and I did not feel lost. I would say this can 100% be read as a standalone. It is fun and has lovely banter. I was constantly rooting for them to finally accept all of their true feelings and just *be*.

This was a unique romance...I have not read a Freaky Friday twist on a romance. I will say my only complaint (besides the FMC making this such a sloooooow burn) was that they referenced the movie Freaky Friday multiple times and didn't seem to grasp what the meaning of the movie was?! Come on science guys....it was not just a "24 hour thing". -sigh- but other than that the writing was great, the plot was fun, and the end made my heart so happy!

Read if you like:
- MCs who work in STEM
- Contemporary romance
- Insta-love
- Magical Realism (body swap)

Format: Audiobook

This book was really fun and I loved the body swap concept! It started off a bit slow, but once we got to the part of the swap, it was really enjoyable with a lot of laugh-out-loud moments. In the beginning, there was a lot of insta-love taking place and I wasn’t really a fan of how it was portrayed. I also think I might’ve enjoyed this more if I had read the book instead of listened to the audiobook. Unfortunately, I found that the narrator’s fake british accent was really distracting and I had a hard time focusing on the story because of it. Overall, it’s a cute story but I’d recommend maybe reading instead of listening.

Just a note: I didn’t realize that this is technically the second book of a series but it reads fine as a standalone. I might go back and read the first of the series now!

Thank you NetGalley and W.W. Crown for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I didn't realize this book was another Sarah Ready book when I picked it up. While I didn't like this one as much as I liked the other novel set in this world, I did enjoy it. I would have rather have done without the insta-love and sex on first sight (especially since the main character is a virgin - just didn't seem realistic in an already ultra-unrealistic story).

If you like Ali Hazelwood, especially Love on the Brain, I think you'll love this book.

Sarah Ready did it again. This book is fun, romantic, has a little bit of everything. Sorry no spoiler. You need to meet Serena and Henry !!

I have to admit when I first started this book, I almost put it down and decided it wasn't my style. I am so glad I continued. It is a fun rom com that is somewhat of a take on Freaky Friday but instead of with the kids it is Serena and Henry that swap. Serena is a free spirited scientist who is obsessed with Star Trek and is happy not being attached to anyone. Henry, is an uptight Brit who has had a thing for Serena for a while.

The characters are fun and I enjoyed how they had to learn to live each others lives, learn their jobs and be around each other's families and try to act like nothing is wrong. I loved the banter and humor. It does have a few spicy scenes and there is some sexual innuendos throughout the book.

Thanks to #NetGalley for the ARC.

I really enjoyed this book. This plot is cute and funny. When two people aren’t good at communicating their true feelings the universe steps in and messes with their life. Serena is terrified of falling in love and Henry is ready to risk his heart for Serena.
This story includes the world of theoretical physics and theories that go over my head. Serena and Henry are super smart but their mathematical models and knowledge of atoms and molecules won’t get them back into their own bodies. They have to figure out how to get their bodies back while pretending to be each other. The author is a bit verbose but other than that I liked her quirky cute writing style.

The narrator Kelsey Navarro did a great job. Kelsey narrated the majority of the book and did a great job with accents. James Foster narrated the last chapter and did well. This is a light and funny romantic comedy that I could totally listen to again.

Thank you to the author Sarah Ready, the publisher, and NetGalley for allowing me to read and review this book

I really liked the narrator of this audiobook, however, I wasn't overly fond of the plot or characters. I'm not fond of the insta love trope and this was complete and utter insta love... it was also just a bit too out there and far fetched for me. It was at least well written and fast paced, it just wasn't a book I overly enjoyed.
Thanks to Netgalley for the arc copy of Switched by Sarah Ready.

I am loving this quirky series by Sarah Ready!

Switched was such a fun book to read. It did have some serious moments, but overall it was a fun, quirky and heartfelt love story about how opposites attract. The characters were all likable and the story was a good spin on the switching bodies trope. Every single book I’ve read by Sarah leaves me with a smile on my face. I can always rely on a well written book with a twist of fun and seriousness as well.

Highly recommend this book and the other book in this series as well! And the audio narrators did a wonderful job!

This book is the second in a series, but it is a standalone! However, I adored the first book in the series so I absolutely recommend that you read it.

Sarah Ready has quickly become one of my auto-buy authors. Although this book was provided to me by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review, I want everyone to know about this author on my own free-will. This book was a breath of fresh air from the typical books I've read in the romance category. There's themes common in this book that there were in the first book, and I love the way she forces proximity. I found myself flipping through these chapters the way I would with a thriller. Even though we hope/know the ending will be happy (as is with romance), you can never anticipate how with the books in this series.

You can't help but love the characters and their backstories. The conflict was fun and unique, it was giving Freaky Friday but romance edition! So, well written which is impressive given how carefully you have to write these characters when they switch bodies. I didn't find myself getting confused about who was talking when despite the body switch. Love this series, loved this book for being fun and quirky, but also vulnerable.

I am a sucker for the cheesy romance novel. It's my dirty little secret. I have the soft squishy heart of a romantic, wrapped in a no-nonsense shell.

So this novel was right up my alley as a piece of escapism. It's the 'body switch until they realise they're in love' subgenre and it has plenty of the usual tropes- having to pretend to be each other, awkward family moments, shock and awe at their new bodies. Overall, they were well-executed.

The narration was well delivered and engaging.

Definitely worth a listen if you're looking for a something predictable but pleasant.

This book has captured my attention and it intrigued me so I've never listened to audiobooks before so guessed why not try with this one. Wow I loved the story so much, listening to the audio was an amazing experience. The story writing was really good and engaging. I had amazing time listening to it!

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for giving me an opportunity to listen!

I am in love! ...with Sarah Ready's books! I've read several and the latest one, Switched, is another one I couldn't step away from. It brings to the forefront a supporting character from a recent book: Serena (best friend of Jillian, the main character in Ghosted). But, this book stands alone--you wouldn't have to have read the other book in the series. Like Ghosted, this book brings a bit of the supernatural into a typical romance plot: the characters switch bodies. I'm not typically a fan of such things, but Ready's books make the concept humorous and enjoyable. And, listening to it in audiobook format adds a lot to the concept (as their voices also switch, but not necessarily their accents!) The book was lots of fun to listen to and the supporting characters also add interest (I particularly enjoyed Henry's family members). Toss in a cat and a bunch of corgis, and you have a great story! Loved this book and can't wait to hear the next one!

Thanks to W. W. Crown and NetGalley for an advance review copy of this audiobook. My opinions, however, are my own.

i was desperate for an audiobook to listen while i had stuff to do this weekend and this was perfect for that!! the story was pretty easy to follow, the characters weren’t annoying and had substance to them. this book wasn’t anything crazy, hence the 3 stars, but it was enjoyable for what it was trying to do, and the concept was so fun!!

This was my first book by Sarah and I was pleasantly surprised. I really liked her writing style and thought it was well written. However the plot was kinda bizarre but I feel that way about all body swaps with love. I really enjoyed the quirkiness of the characters but felt Serena was condescending at times. Overall I enjoyed it but didn’t love it. But I will definitely read more by Sarah!

Another enjoyable read by Sarah Ready. I had no idea until finishing that this was the second in a trilogy however this did not impact on the novel at all and it really read like a stand-a-lone. The novel was narrated well and the narrator kept a good pace and tone throughout.

The premise of two people switching bodies and minds is not particularly unique, however the writing style and the core elements of the story had me drawn to the characters immediately and I was invested in their quest to return to their own bodies from the start. A heartwarming and romantic novel follows Henry and Serena two physicists who once were lovers but following their breif romantic liaison are now little more than colleagues who tolerate each other. One night in the lab changes everything as a mysterious blast sends them into each other's bodies. Their journey takes them out of the country to visit each others families and gain all the perspective and understanding needed to finally switch back.

I do love Sarah Ready books if you want a fun read. This is the second in the Ghosted series and now it's Serena Otaki, which was the best friend of Jillian in the first book. Serena has been living in Geneva, Switzerland and working hard, but doesn't get attached to any man. Serena meets Henry and all of a sudden they switch bodies, but how can they make it back and how will this work for two totally different people.

Thank you #NetGalley for the advance copy!

This was overall an entertaining and cute read, but I have to say, the plot kind of made me uncomfy. It gave Freaky Friday vibes but with a male/female couple. I think it would have been less weird if the characters didn’t fall in love and make out and stuff basically with themselves (because they had switched bodies).

I thought the science part of it was cute and quirky, and there were some funny parts in there as well. I didn’t love the ending, but overall enjoyed listening to this book!

Thank you so much to Sarah Ready, W.W. Crown, and Netgalley for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for my honest opinion!

I mostly enjoyed this book and the story. I’ve read books with this concept of people switching bodies but not done like this before and it was very good. The main character Serena was interesting and quite often rambled on about her life. Sometimes it went on for too long and I wanted something else to happen. The story was done very well. I liked the narration and how when they switched it was a girl doing a slightly rubbish British men’s accent. Which I kinda liked. This is basically a rivals to lovers story in a way but done differently to books I’ve read with that trope. Overall I liked this book and it was a nice change to my normal reading.
