This one was above and beyond the first book, The Testing. It is so cerebral and intriguing that it's hard to put down. Cia's made it to the University, but her testing is not finished. She must play mind games with everyone around her, and it's that aspect of the book that really kept me interested. You never know which side someone is on, and it's fascinating to see Cia think through each of her obstacles to figure out what she is intended to do in order to pass. The final few chapters change everything, and I definitely can't wait to pick up the final book, Graduation Day.
