This is the first audiobook that I have listened to, and I was excited to give it a try. This book takes place in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana, which I used to live in, so I was able to connect to the story in a personal way. One critique of the location was that the author made it seem like the town of Bitterroot Valley was located near Bozeman, however, the real Bitterroot Valley (with the handful of small towns located in the valley) is actually closer to Idaho. If she was going to use the name of a real location in Montana, I wish she would have made it geographically accurate, but I am sure that wouldn't bother anyone else who didn't actually live in the Bitterroots.

As for the story, I love small town romance and age gap romance, so this book checked both of those boxes for me. I found myself getting annoyed with Remington in some chapters because he seemed like he was treating her like a kid, and I didn't really see what he liked in her, besides her physical qualities, but then she started to develop a relationship with his kids and his family. I will be interested to read the rest of this series as it comes out, and see what happens with the rest of the Wild siblings and see where Rem and Erin's relationship takes them, and see if they end up having kids together.

I adored Erin and Remington!

Erin is a hard working and independent woman who wants to earn her own way in life. After visiting a small mountain town around the holidays with family and friends, she decides she wants to stay and put down roots rather than return to her life in Seattle.

Remington is a single dad of two after his wife passed away during child birth and works long hours after taking over and expanding the family ranch. His family is telling him he needs to hire a nanny to help him out. When he finally caves he knows the toughest part will be keeping his hands off her.

I loved this book and adored these characters. Considering this book was just under 300 pages, I would have loved for it to be a little bit longer so we could see a bit more push and pull and/or pining/conflicted feelings about getting together. I think that would have been helpful for relationship development, rather than there being a clear physical attraction and suddenly deciding they're both all in. It came across as though as soon as he saw how good she was with his kids he decided she was end game. Or at least it felt that way.

I was initially thrown off by the lack of grief Remington demonstrated in the prologue when his wife died during child birth. At first, I wasn't sure if it was the way it was written or the way Sebastian York narrated it (I didn't actually think it was Sebastian's fault, because the man is perfect at what he does). But it was quickly explained away by the dynamic of Remi's relationship with his wife. That said, she is the mother of his children, and he claimed they were a good team, co-parents and friends... you would think he would still grieve for her even if he wasn't in love with her. And yet, he came across as somewhat indifferent to her death in the beginning.

Other than those two minor things, I adored this book. All the other characters are fantastic. I loved the family dynamics and this cute little town. The kids were adorable and everyone was so welcoming to Erin.

Also, I appreciated that there was no third act break up! That said, the conflict that arose was very predictable, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story.

The audiobook was narrated by Sebastian York and Emma Wilder and they both absolutely nailed this book and these characters. They really brought them to life.

Thank you to NetGalley and DreamScape media for the ALC.

Predictable and boring. Perfect kids. Not quite “insta-love,” but close. Perfect families. The “villain” was obvious from the moment we’re introduced to them. The “conflict” was resolved in less than a chapter. There was no depth to the story at all. Very flat characters. 2.5 stars rounded up to 3.

I really wanted to like this one, because reading the synopsis it reminded me of one of my favorite romance novels, but this book just didn’t do it for me.
I feel like it lacked quite a bit it the character development, and the book moved at a pace that I felt like I couldn’t quite get invested into the lives and progress of the characters journey together. It was a quick and easy read, but it really lacked in the banter that I was hoping to see.

Thank you to NetGalley, Dreamscape Select, and Ampersand Publishing for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

First of all, the narrators did a really great job with this story. They brought the characters to life very well.

There were some moments of this that made me think "Yellowstone if John had found love again" which count me in. But then other parts did fall a little flat, and the author ended up trying to do a whole lot in this story which had some ups and downs.

I don't feel like there was any genuine organic attraction between the love interests. It felt more like "Hey this woman is great with my kids and she's hot, so I'm in love". I would have liked more depth there.

But, overall, it was a great setup story for a chain of interconnected standalone romances in one of my favorite locations.

Good lord, I am a sucker for small town romance, and Wild for You is top tier ! Toss in the grumpy/sunshine trope and I’m absolute toast. I adored Erin and Remington’s journey - an awesome love story, cute kids, wonderful families, and living ranch life. This one just leaves you smiling. I’m so excited for the rest of this series !!!!

I really enjoyed this first book in The Wilds of Montana series. Remington Wild and Erin Montgomery's age gap romance is funny, sweet, suspenseful and steamy! Remington is a grumpy single dad to two adorable children. He is finally ready to admit he needs help and is looking for a nanny. What he didn't expect was the beautiful barista, who he is attracted to, to apply for the job. Erin loves her new quiet life and friends in Bitterroot Valley. When he car breaks down, she needs to make more money to pay for repairs. She jumps at the chance to help the mercurial rancher. What neither expected was how perfectly she would fit into ranch life. Erin soon wins over all the Wild's hearts and she loses hers to them as well. But when Erin's past catches up to her and secrets are revealed putting all their lives in danger, will they survive long enough to forgive and fight for each other? This is a sweet, heartwarming, and sizzling romance with a touch of suspense. I really fell hard for Remington, Erin and the beautiful family they were building together. I also loved getting to know the rest of the Wild family and local residents who made this story even more intriguing. It was also fun catching up with Erin's family from past stories.
The narration by Sebastian York and Emma Wilder was amazing. York has such a wonderfully deep voice that is perfect for the rugged Remington, dominating yet easily shows such tenderness. Wilder nails Erin's fun, smart and adventurous personality. They nailed these characters perfectly, making me feel all the push/pull of emotions they experienced. I was completely lost in their moving performance.
This is a great start to this new series and I can't wait for more from the Wild family!

This first audiobook in the series, introduces the listeners not only to Remington Wild, widower, oldest sibling and Dad of two, but also to the rest of the Wild family .
Remington’s life is very busy now that he is managing the family property, Wild Ranch, leaving little time with the kids. Something has to change and a nanny might be the answer.
Erin Montgomery needs a change from Seattle, her stalker now in jail, and her loving but overwhelming family.
Determined not to use her trust fund, Erin moves to a small Montana town and gets a job in the local coffee shop. Everyone is friendly except Mr Grumpy.
The moment her car breaks down, she realizes she’ll need a second job to pay for the repairs. Imagine her surprise when the nanny job she interviews for is for Mr. Grumpy’s delightful kids
The attraction between the two is instant but will the age difference and the circumstances of employee/employer be a hindrance?
This was a sweet story about family, second chances in life and love, with a little suspense thrown in.
The narrators , Sebastian York and Emma Wilder did a good job with the voices.
I was entrusted a copy of this audiobook by Netgalley and Dreamscape. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

The audiobook narrator’s did a fantastic performance of this story! It was a cute small town story. I wouldn’t stay this book is doing anything new in the small town romance world but it fits the bill perfectly for it. Our FMC is a new(er) girl in town and she meets a grumpy single dad. With all the side characters we are introduced to, I look forward to seeing more in this small town series.

TW: death during birth (not a main character)

Do you read interconnected standalones? Typically my habits require me to read a series in order to truly appreciate it, however when I was gifted this advanced copy of “the Brides runaway billionaire”, I couldn’t wait to jump right in. This is the third and final book in Pippa Grants series and I ADORED it. Accidental pregnancy is a favorite trope of mine and the way this was written was so good. The FMC was a strong, badass woman who overcame a failed wedding (and the viral video that came with it), finding out she was pregnancy and diving in head first to be the best single mom she can be. The small town that rallies for her and her son give it the cutest atmosphere and I love the crowds ready to jump in for her at a moments notice. It is hard not to love every character in this book - it has the cute story line, the drama, and the sweet details in between that make you love every character. This was my first by Pippa, and though it’ll be out of order, now I can’t wait to dive into the other books in the series just to get to experience them all a little longer. This book will be available on 1/18 on KU, don’t Forget to check it out!

Age gap
single dad/nanny
cowboy
small town
hint of suspense

Sebastian York and Emma Wilder were great in this audiobook - no complaints on accents, voices used, weird sounds
The story, however? Meh
I don't think it was bad but nothing about it really stood out as amazing either. It was a sweet, short read (listen) that followed the same formula as so many other small town romances.
I am a bit bothered by two things
1. The almost total erasure of the kids mother - Remington may not have been *in* love with her but he loved her enough to marry her and have a second baby, then never seemed to talk to their kids about her or keep her memory alive for them? Just seemed like an odd dynamic to include and would have made more sense to turn her into a deadbeat that abandoned them rather than someone who died in childbirth.
2. It also read like Remington was only attracted to Erin because she was attractive and took care of his kids. I would have liked to see why their relationship worked so well instead of just been given a surface level look at it.
Overall I did enjoy the story. I didn't feel like DNFing at any point and was usually eager to get back to listening when I had to pause for life.

Absolutely obsessed with this book and this couple! Single dad/nanny and age gap are two of my favorite tropes, so I immediately knew I needed to read/listen to this book.

When Erin finds herself needing some extra cash after some car troubles, she gets a nanny job for her friend's grumpy brother and his two kids. And things go swimmingly for Erin and the kids, but Remington is finding it harder and harder to separate his feelings for his nanny. When they finally start to admit their feelings, it's adorable and beautiful and I loved Rem's protective streak that he has going on!

The narrators did a fantastic job embodying these characters. Sebastian York and Emma Wilder did an amazing job and I will definitely be listening to more of their work in the future.

The author sets us up for Chase's book next and I am so excited!! I need it ASAP!

Wild for You is a small-town romance with some elements of romantic suspense. I was particularly excited for this book because I love a nanny romance!

I enjoyed this story a lot! Erin and Remington had good chemistry and I enjoyed their banter. I also liked watching Erin bond with the children and Remington's family. I did feel a little bit like Erin and Remington stopped having the same fun banter once they were romantically involved. I wished we had seen them being there for each other emotionally more. Remington was very protective but I felt like Erin leaned on others for emotional support.

This story had a romantic suspense element I wasn't expecting. While I always like to see a protective mmc, I did dislike that Erin's dad would talk to Remington instead of her. In her place I would have felt like I was being treated like a child.

This book had stunning descriptions of the Montana countryside. While this is somewhere I have never visited, reading this book made me feel like I had!

🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧 - I listened to the audiobook version of this title and thought Sebastian York and Emma Wilder did an amazing job! I recognized Sebastion York from Cluelessly Yours which I also recently enjoyed and Emma Wilder also narrated Flawless by Elsie Silver.

🌶️🌶️🌶️ - This book has a handful of open-door steamy scenes.

The narration by Emma and Sebastian elevated Rem and Erin’s love story to an exceptional level, as they skillfully gave voice to a multitude of characters and conveyed a wealth of emotions. The story itself, crafted by Mrs. Proby, is a heartfelt journey through love, family values, and unwavering loyalty.

As the narrative unfolds, Remington starts off as rather surly, but Erin’s effervescent personality introduces a much-needed brightness to his world. Their connection is immediate, showcasing witty exchanges and an easy, believable progression of their relationship. The romance is both steamy and tender, peppered with strong protective instincts and moments that make your heart flutter.

In addition to the romance, the story brings in the warmth of family, a closely-knit community spirit, and a sprinkle of suspense to keep the pages turning. Despite predicting the twist early on, its execution in the story was satisfying.

The epilogue only adds to the anticipation for the next installment of the series, with readers eagerly awaiting to dive deeper into the lives of the characters from Bitterroot Valley.

Wild for You is a cute listen. Sebastian York is a standout among narrators. He brings Remington Wild to life. This is the first in a new series, with connections and many appearances by characters from the With Me in Seattle series. The Wild family is a breath of fresh air as they seem down to earth while still being the billionaires that seem to be Kristen Proby’s must have trope..

Erin moved to Montana to further her independence from her well known family but also she’s hiding. 🫣

When Erin’s car dies she takes a second job as a nanny for a sexy single dad who’s also a cowboy!! Remington may seem to be somewhat of a grump but he’s actually been smitten with her ever since he first saw her in town.

The spice in this books is minimal and doesn’t take away from the book which I really like.

This is the first Kristen Proby book I’ve ever read and I really enjoyed it.

Highly recommend if you like single dad, age gap romances.

I enjoyed this one a lot! The first in a new series that already has be excited for the next book!

Montana. Small town. Single dad x nanny. Age gap. Grumpy sunshine. Cowboy. Found family. Suspense. Protective MMC.

If you are a fan of Devney Perry/ Catherine Cowles/ Elsie Silver - add this one to your list!

I was drawn in immediately by the friendship between the Erin & Millie. The way Millie connects Erin with her older brother, Remington, is perfect… he needs a nanny & she needs to make some extra cash.

Remington’s kids and the extended family members are delightful and brought great joy to the story. I love the setting of the ranch and Montana wilderness… so dreamy

While there’s definitely instant attraction between Erin & Remington, I loved the way their relationship progressed as they get to know each other. Good spice 🔥🌶️

Great twists with Erin’s family and past adding action and suspense to the story.

Can’t wait for what’s coming next in the series! The epilogue sets up the next book beautifully.

Thanks to netgalley and the publishers for the chance to enjoy an ALC.

Erin comes from a very famous family and all she wants is a quiet life away from the buzz of the city. She wants to be able to make a life for herself without using her families money. She moved to Bitterroot Valley, Montana and got a job working at the local coffee shop. One of her customers is always grumpy when he comes in, but she is insanely attracted to him. When her car breaks down and she needs a second job to cover the cost, her friend offers to introduce her to her brother, Remington, who is looking for a nanny.

Remington Montgomery has two children he has had to raise by himself since his wife died in childbirth. He loves them but is struggling to run his ranch while also taking care of them. He reluctantly agrees to hire a nanny and is shocked to see it’s the woman from the coffee shop he can’t stop thinking about. Remington doesn’t have time to date, but that doesn’t stop the sparks from flying between the two. When a threat from her past comes for Erin, Remington does everything in his power to keep her safe.

This was a great story! I am always a sucker for a cowboy romance and this one was swoon worthy. Remington is a great dad, and definitely gives off alpha male, touch her and die vibes! 10/10 narration, would highly recommend!

Emma and Sebastian did a wonderful job of bringing Rem and Erin's story to life.
The way they seamlessly voiced multiple characters and the emotion they injected into this story was pure gold.
Not only were their performances noteworthy but so was the writing.
Mrs Proby has penned a beautiful story, full of heart, rich in family, loyalty, and love.

While Remington was a grump, to begin with, Erin was the sunshine he needed in his life.
Their chemistry was instant, the banter was fun and playful, and—I felt—their relationship developed in a natural and genuine way.
The steam was on point, the protector vibes were strong, and the swoon was real.

Throw in two beautiful children, strong family bonds, a tight-knit community, plus a dash of suspense and you have one heck of a good book. And although I did pick up the twist as soon as it was introduced, I liked the way it played out.

That epilogue has me champing at the bit for the next book in the series. I can't wait to find out more about this family and the other inhabitants of Bitterroot Valley.

Remington Wild, a single father burdened with the weight of responsibility and in need of help, was approached by Erin Montgomery, a recent arrival to Bitterroot Valley who found herself in need of additional employment. It seemed like a perfect match until they realized they were not strangers to each other, making it nearly impossible to resist the magnetic pull they felt. However, as secrets began to unravel, danger lurked in the shadows, threatening the safety of the Wild family.

✨Thoughts✨
This was a heartwarming small-town romance. The winning formula to my heart was definitely the single dad/nanny trope, which was perfectly portrayed here. The main characters handled their attraction with a lot of maturity, aided by their shared family-oriented values.

The core of the story revolved around the family dynamics and the two adorable children, which added a layer of lighthearted humor to the narrative.

I am highly invested in the series now and cannot wait to dive into the next book. Overall, if you enjoy series centered around families and small towns, then this story is tailor-made for you!

Emma Wilder and Sebastian York breathe life into this dual narration. It is a treat when narrators master their craft, and this was no exception. They did a superb job.
