- Small town
- Grumpy (him) x sunshine (her)
- Age gap
- Single dad x nanny
- No breakup
- Dual POV
- Narrated by Sebastian York and Emma Wilder

This book gave me Heartless vibes from the get-go (look at those tropes), and I said say less!

Erin moves to small-town Montana from Seattle and instantly feels at home while working at the local cafe. When car trouble strikes her, and she starts looking for a second job, her colleague has the perfect one – her ranch-owning brother just so happens to be looking for a part-time nanny for his two kids. It isn’t long before she becomes a live-in nanny, and things heat up between the pair. But then her past comes knocking…

In Wild For You, you can expect:
- One grumpy, overprotective MMC who falls hard and loves communication 👏🏻.
- One relatable, sunshine FMC who finds her home and a second family in Montana.
- Zero breakup!
- One iconic sweatshirt scene!
- One interesting stalker storyline to spice things up.
- Two cute kids.
- Lots of great supporting characters. Each Wild sibling has a distinct personality, and I’m curious to see where their stories go.

Thank you to Dreamscape Media and the author for the early audio copy!

Remington is a widower with two kids and owning a ranch loving his family and needed help. So his sister Millie help him find a nanny. Erin is new in town after vacationing she felt in love with the town instead of going back home she stay.
Started working in a cafe shop and she is a bit of a mystery.
After her car broke down Erin need money to fix her car. Millie offer her the nanny job. Remington and Erin has this attraction to each other since the beginning but never acted on it. Until they are she start living with him and it was a struggle she like her independent but it made sense to live at the ranch especially because she going to be around the kids.
Then Erin start to receive red flowers and a note. The Mysterious surrounding of Erin come to light to who her father is and her family and that she really doesn't need to work because she has a trust funds.also that she has a stalker who apparently got out of jail and no one know why if he still had more time to serve. Remington and Erin spend more time together and there a new comer whom seems to be have a crush on Millie. When her stalker reappear with secret notes and flowers.
I can't wait to read about Chase, Remington brother and really excited for it.

First in a new series. Technically spun off of another series, but a complete stand alone.

Erin moved to Montana looking for a fresh start. She is determined to make it on her own- without touching her trust fund. She is happy working as a barista in a local copy shop. Until her car dies. She takes on a second job nannying for a grump customer. A hot, grumpy customer who she is attracted to.

I liked this one quite a bit. I enjoyed the town and the Wild family. There are five Wild siblings, and the groundwork has already been laid for a few books.

I cannot pinpoint an exact reason why I liked it- I suppose there is enough happening that it is not boring or repetitive. The characters are likeable. There are some spicy parts. There is a variety of secondary characters to make things interesting. While there is some suspense, it is not a mystery It just adds some tension to the plot.

Sebastian York and Emma Wilder narrate the audiobook. Both do a great job, as expected.

I received an advance audio book in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed the first half of this one quite a bit! The tension between Rem and Erin was great. They were clearly trying to resist wanting each other. Once they finally gave in it started to lull for me; all the rest of the drama was outside of their relationship so I think I was just looking for a little more angst between the two of them or aimed at their relationship. It picked up again toward the end.
Things I loved:
•dirty talker MMC
•sweet kids
•set up for more stories involving other family members

This is my first book by Kristen Proby. Now, I have to go back and read her entire backlist. I loved every second of this audiobook. Emma Wilder and Sebastian York are rock star narrators. They made this book top notch. I had Elsie Silver--Heartless vibes with this one and I loved it!! I love similar but different.

Remington Wild is a single dad who needs help for his two young kids. His ranch is doing so well that he's having to work a lot. Erin ended up in town from Seattle and works with Remington's sister at the coffee shop. She runs into car trouble and needs the extra money to fix it. She eventually moved out to the ranch and begins a relationship with Remington. I loved this sweet, spicy romance. I found myself completely engrossed in the story and thinking about it when I wasn't listening. It was well written with great conflict. Huge thanks to Netgalley and the audiobook publisher for allowing me to listen and review this wonderful book! I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Apparently I’m in my cowboy era and needed to read this one. Especially because it’s also single dad/nanny and small town.

I enjoyed the tropes of this one and how characters from other series were in this one (almost a second generation which was fun). This was my first Kristen Proby but I didn’t feel like I was missing something by not reading the others.

Remington can give the dirty talk🥵 The this isn’t just sex scene….

I will say the story is pretty predictable and I definitely knew who her stalker was immediately. So I wish there was just a little more unpredictability for me. Overall I enjoyed listening to this book and the narrators did a great job.

I did receive an advance copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when authors write their widowers to minimize the love they had for their deceased wife in order to make this new romance *better.* It really doesn’t need to be that way. See: Broken Dreams by Corinne Michaels.

This man married his baby mama because they had a baby, they were never “really in love,” but they had a second baby together? No. Just write him finding love *again.*

Other than that, this wasn’t a bad book and I’d definitely give the author another shot, but that really rubbed me the wrong way.

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

I read this novel from the publisher and NetGalley in return for an honest opinion. I do not believe that I have read many if any at all of Kristen’s previous novels. That is my own mistake because I absolutely adored and loved her writing style and the world she created in this novel. Remington is a single father whom resides on a ranch and Erin is a coffee shop employee who left the Seattle area and is looking to make extra money. Erin agrees to be a nanny for Remingtons children. This novel had so many emotions within it. I loved the age gap, single dad/ nanny and grumpy/sunshine tropes within this. Kristen did amazing in writing this and I highly recommend it!!

This was my first Kristen Proby book, but it certainly won't be my last. I absolutely loved Remington and Erin's story. I think one of my favorite parts was that while this was a *gasp* forbidden nanny romance, neither of them danced around what they wanted. They gave in quickly and the story didn't revolve around the typical many trope. The suspense aspect of her stalker made for a great third act, I really enjoyed this entire book.

Sebastian Wilder and Emma Wilde were absolutely fantastic narrating these characters. I absolutely loved my time listening and will likely listen again, probably before the next one in the series releases. I can not wait for Chase's story!

Rating: 3.5/5
Spice:2.5/5
Fav Tropes: age gap, nanny, single dad, small town , cowboy
Thoughts:
Erin and Remington story was very cute. I like the glare of the romantic suspense with the stalker aspect but the plot seemed to familiar to other books out there. Now I did get this arc in audio form and I love the mmc narrator but I didn’t really vibe with the fmc narrator.

Now for the story I wish there was a little more built up in the relationship and angst between the mmc and fmc , it felt like there romance was a little to fast they didn’t even make it to 50% mark before they slept together. I appreciated that there wasn’t a lot of dancing around and they were direct with there attraction but truly it felt a little insta love

Wild for You
by Kristen Proby
Narrated by Sebastian York; Emma Wilder

Remington Wild has a lot of responsibilities. He’s a single dad and just took over the Wild River Ranch, a family business. With all that, he finally admits that he needs help. Help arrives in the form of Erin Montgomery, who has recently moved to Bitterroot Valley. She enjoys the quiet life, escaping Seattle from a stalker. In Bitterroot Valley nobody knows her or her famous family.
With Remington, the sparks are there, but will they survive the secrets that come along with them?

An age gap novel? I am in, no questions asked! I am such a sucker for a good age gap story! I don’t care much for the single parent aspect, but on the other hand I always liked the nanny trope, so I guess there is something for every taste in this book!
The wheel was definitely not invented again in this novel, but I also didn’t mind that. I quite liked the story. Maybe I haven’t read too many romances yet…

The mix between spice and story was good, so was the pacing. Nothing was too rushed. All in all, I really enjoyed the book, the narration was an extra bonus.

The narration was wonderful. Remington sounded like an older guy, which I was really happy about. The voice acting was well done, full stars for Sebastian York and Emma Wilder.

A terrific start for a new series of which I am already awaiting the next. Erin has enjoyed a few years of feeling safe from her stalker and created a wonderful life for herself in the small town of Bitterroot Valley. No one knows she is there or that she is from a famous family with a trust fund. She chooses to live what she calls a regular life on her own terms. When she meets Remington, a somewhat older, single grumpy cowboy who is the father of two delicious kids and the sparks fly. When she needs him most, he comes through in the best way as do all of her family, friends and neighbors. It’s a story thats been told before and yet that didn’t matter to me at all. This was a great listen with wonderful narration. No major surprises, but very enjoyable and has left me wanting more.

3 Stars Wild for You is the first in Kristen Proby’s new The Wilds of Montana series. It fits a lot of my favorite tropes: small town, found family, cowboy, romantic suspense, and age gap. Overall, it was a good read/listen, though the plot was fairly predictable. My main issue with the novel is some of the dialogue, which really didn’t feel realistic at times. There were “conversations” that mostly just consisted of the characters trading compliments back and forth, like during the family dinner scene. I could almost picture them patting each other on the back and smiling the entire time. Some of the dialogue between the main characters felt unrealistic as well. And yes, it portrays an idealized version of romantic love between two people, but it was hard to suspend my disbelief for many of the conversations between the two MCs. I enjoyed the ALC provided by NetGalley in exchange for my honest review and the narrators did a good job.

Great book! Love a grumpyxsunshine. Also the nanny and single dad small town is a classic.
The little bit of a twist was extremely predictable. But still goood.

I wanted to love story. It's a good book however it's not the 1st time I've read the story. The first half of the book was just like reading Elsie Silver's book Heartless. So many similarities.

-A grumpy and sexy single father taking over the family ranch
-Age gap
-He can't rely on the help of family to watch his kids much longer
-A nanny is needed and a family member has the perfect girl from the city.
-The nanny has a trust fund, has celebrities in the family which were similar
-Theres even mention of a professional ballerina

The only true difference between the books was the stalker in this story. It made it worth listening too.

The narrators were good. I enjoyed Sebastian York a lot. Emma Wilder was very good as well. I just didn't care for some of the voices used for the kids. Too squeaky.

I love small town romance and this story does not disappoint! One of the best things about small town romance is nothing stays secret for long because everyone knows everyone! Remington and Erin didn’t get off to a great start-because Rem is grumpy and Erin is sunshine- but once the two got on the same wavelength it was mostly smooth sailing! I love the protective nature REM has for his family and I love the independence Erin has. Overall a great listen! The narrators do a wonderful job bringing these characters to life.

Thank you for the ALC for my honest review.

Once I started this book, I couldn't stop! Not only was the narration done by Emma Wilder and Sebastian York beyond wonderful, but the story had all the moments you love in a compelling romance. A cowboy single dad, adorable kids, a fun family of supporting cast, and two main characters that you find yourself truly rooting for.

I might be a Florida girl through and through, but Wild For You has me seeing considering running away to find a rancher of my own!

Thank you netgallye & dreamscape select for my first kristin problem book. I was absolutely blown away not sure I have the words to formulate a review but I will absolutely be checking this authors extensive blacklist after reading this book. My heart was racing, I was smiling like a fool, I gasped, I loved all the emotions it pulled out of me. One I will remember and reread soon...

I fully admit that single dad/nanny romance is not my favorite genre, but I actually really liked this book. Remington (love the name) is a single dad in need of a nanny to help with his kids so he can work his ranch. Erin needs a second job to help pay for her broke-down car ....enter single grumpy dad. I do like that these two somewhat knew each other before hooking up and already had cute nicknames for each other (Doc & Grumpy). I also liked how they took their time with each other and didn't force their relationship on the kids. The spicy scenes were done well, and didn't take over the story. There was a good blend of plot to spice. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I recommend this book if you like a sweet, grumpy/sunshine, single dad, cowboy romance that is heartwarming and romantic.
