He takes readers step by step through what it takes to build your business and sheds light on the challenges and pitfalls to look out for. This is a very thorough field manual and will set anyone up for success as they lauch into the world of coaching and consulting.

Not since StoryBrand has Donald Miller delivered a framework for building a thriving business for would-be coaches. The book was easy to follow and full of gold! A great resource for aspiring coaches full of actionable steps from a trusted source in business and entrepreneurship.

Donald Miller knows his stuff, and is hoping to empower other coaches through his expertise. I'm happy I picked up this book just as I start my coaching journey. It has prepared me for what is coming my way and has changed the way I think about my value. It's a book for novices or seasoned coaches and offers lessons on how to package your services and keep attracting the right clients.

Okay, this is not my first experience with Donald Miller. His marketing book BUILDING A STORY BRAND should be cannon for people at this point, so I had high hopes for this. I'm someone who stockpiles knowledge, so while I'm not currently on a coaching journey, I feel like it could someday be a part of my story, so this, I know, prepares me for that eventuality. (Putting it out there in the universe). I highlighted a lot and felt like Donald was speaking to me in a way that was blunt at times but made sense: everything his brand promises. I'd be remiss if I didn't give it a 5, so a 5 is what it'll get.

If you wanted to sit across the table with an experienced coach to get you started, you'd want this book. Once you got moving, when you needed a master coach to look over your shoulder as you built your business? you'd reach for this book.

I've rarely seen a detailed step-by-step approach to building social media presence, connecting with people, and growing your business. In fact, I'm going to recommend it to any entrepreneur who is working on a startup. Adapt the counsel to your own vision and enterprise.

This book is super actionable! I work as a coach in a K-12 educational setting, but a lot of the steps mentioned in the book are things I can use to help me enroll teachers and keep my coaching up to date and flourishing. I know that at some point I will want to leave education and possibly go into business for myself, and this book has ways for me to do that. I'm not sure I was the intended audience, but I still found things that I can use in my current position.
