Narration was good. The characters were enjoyable enough. There just wasn't anything in this story that really captured me.

3.5⭐️ Love a spinoff series, and Irresistible Love is the start of a new series that came from the Montgomery Brothers series. Featuring a forbidden romance between the boss’ daughter between Noah and Lily.
*many thanks to Netgalley for the gifted copy for review

In Samantha Chase's debut novel, "Irresistible Love," Lily Montgomery and Noah Wylder navigate a complicated past and budding romance.

Their collaboration uncovers family secrets and reignites their undeniable chemistry, leading to a mix of drama, emotion, and humor. This charming love story is filled with relatable characters and engaging storytelling that will keep you hooked from start to finish. High recommendation for a delightful read!

Irresistible Love by Samantha Chase
This little love story is cute, full of emotional drama, subtle character changes, and irresistible characters. Lily was a bit much, but her chemistry with Noah made it all worth while and realistic. Overall this audiobook was cute but I think I expected more; her voice was lovely, but maybe a male narrator would have changed the dynamic. While this book might not be one of my favourites, I’m more interested in all of the characters’ stories in the future.
3.5 rating rounded to 4

I love all Samantha Chase books and this one was no different. There is always wonderful romance. This one had second chance romance, family secrets, office romance, banter and lots of chemistry between the mcs.
I wish there had been a male and female narrator’s. It really would have helped with the flow of the dual pov.
I had to speed this one up to be able to listen to it.

I think Samantha Case is the queen of small town romance! This book follows Lily a dancer who has been recently injured and not knowing how to proceed. When staying with her family she comes across a man from her past, she shared one passionate kiss with and he happens to work with a family member. Noah and Lily are such a sweet
Opposites attract, forced proximity, and so cute! This book was probably one of my favorites that I read by Samantha. Two people are lost but in separate ways which is what I loved about these characters. They both have troubles and they are figuring out how to solve them together. This book is a little bit small-towny but not as much as her other books. It definitely leans more contemporary romance but still in the style of Samantha's other books.
I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun contemporary romance.

Lily is a skilled dancer and intends to dance in companies and travel the world. When she kisses Noah, one of her dad's employees, at their holiday party, she doesn't really realize the situation she's leaving him in. She travels back to her life while Noah stays put working with her dad with him thinking he's playing with his daughter's heart. When Lily sustains an injury and returns to home to nearly everyone in her family on vacation, she ends up spending more time with Noah who is helping watch over her dad's company. While at home, some strange things start happening within her family and must figure it out with the help of Noah. What starts as sneaking around to find answers leads to sneaking around for just the two of them.
This book was sweet! I did like the plot and the characters were both likeable. It wasn't my favorite but I can tell that I would return to this series to continue listening to. The writing was lighthearted. The narrators were also great.

What can I say about this book? Well, I can tell you that, like with all 𝚂𝚊𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚝𝚑𝚊 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚜𝚎 novels, I was hooked. From the very beginning to the very end, I fell in love with these characters, this story line, and am going to forever recommend this one!
𝐴𝑚𝑦 𝑀𝑐𝐹𝑎𝑑𝑑𝑒𝑛 has a beautiful voice! She brought to life Noah & Lily and filled them with so many emotions! I didn't tire of hearing her, and she made me want to find all her audiobooks and devour them!
This story of an irresistible love is one that will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside! The characters attraction to each is felt by the listener, and you find yourself rooting for them through out the book!
I definitely recommend this one!

The beginning of a series featuring the Wylder brothers who are a regular finance guy, Noah who this story is about, a famous NFL player and a rock star. We have a split POV between Noah and Lily who is the granddaughter of Noah’s boss. When Lily comes home after a dance injury she discovers her whole family, except her grandpa, is on vacation for a month. So she stays in the grandparent's guest house and is thrown in the path of Noah, whom she kissed at a company Christmas party 3 years prior. Though this is a short quick read, the romance is also short and quick, sweet and not spicy, if that is what you’re looking for. The story itself is your cliché secret dating story with Lily having an identity crisis and trying to discover who she is outside of her family’s name. Her dad was an NFL player and now works at the family finance company. I wasn’t a fan of Lily, she was a bit shallow and stubborn and got mad when her grandfather acted just like her. The narration was good, as always with dual POV I would prefer a male/female narrator but Amy did ok with switching between characters. Overall, sweet fluff of a story with a predictable storyline and a moderately enjoyable coupling.

I really enjoyed this book. The premise was interesting, the characters were relatable and this book had a bit of everything! There was drama, love, emotion, and humor!
I enjoyed Amy McFadden’s narration, but I felt that adding male narrator would have made this audiobook perfect!

This was really good! Exactly what I expect from this author after reading her books for so long. She is very consistent with how good her stories and characters are.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book provided by NetGalley.

A really good story about fate, love, and forever. I could have done without so much swearing but I really enjoyed the book and the narrator was awesome. A story of laugh and love that everyone should enjoy.

Who doesn’t love the Montgomery family? The loving grandpa who is always trying to play matchmaker strikes again. I did enjoy the fact that the main character was able to spin her passion into a slightly different path while following her dreams. The two min characters actually did a good job of following their dreams but also melding their lives together.
🌀Synopsis
Lily has danced forever but now an injury has her sitting on the sidelines. She decides to go back to see her family but when she gets there they are all gone and her grandpa is acting very strange. He even makes her stay in the guest house to preserve his privacy. Lily knows he’s up to something so when Noah pops back into the picture she ropes him into helping her figure it out.

I loved being able to listen to this. I love Samantha Chases books they’re comfort reads for me so listening just makes it even better. The narrators were a great choice for these characters and this story.

It was a lovely easy read for me. The narrator did an absolutely amazing job bringing the characters to life and sucking in a reader. I enjoyed the opposites-attract love that was in here.

Irresistible Love by Samantha Chase was a 5 star read for me. The narrators do a great job at drawing you in and it is an easy read. I was also excited to read this because the story carries over from one of the Christmas books from her Montgomery series.

I just finished listening to the audiobook "Irresistible Love" by Samantha Chase, which was narrated by Amy McFadden. While Samantha Chase is a new author for me, I have listened to Amy McFadden's voice before on other audiobooks and I absolutely love the way she brings the story to life with her talented and authentic voice. She is becoming my favourite narrator. The author's ability to captivate the reader/listener with their story brought me joy.
The story follows Lily Montgomery, a devoted dancer who finds joy in dancing. Her career is put in jeopardy when she suffers a hip injury, and she is forced to return to North Carolina to assess her options, one of which is surgery. Although Lily has a strong will, her immaturity becomes apparent at times.
Noah Wylder is a diligent individual who harbours aspirations of owning his own company someday. He is a great character, considerate, motivated, and an all-around nice guy. Despite a difficult childhood, he has managed to overcome his past and become a successful, well-adjusted adult. As the story progresses, his character evolves, and he discovers that his drive for success is deeply rooted in his family and personal history. company one day. Noah was a great character - thoughtful, driven, and an all-around nice guy. He didn't have the best childhood but he overcame it to become a well-adjusted successful adult. His character develops as the story progresses and he learns that his desire for success was rooted in his past and his family.
Lily and Noah shared a kiss three years ago, which became a significant problem in Lily's family and their family business because Noah was and still is employed by her family's financial company. Recently, Lily and Noah coincidentally met again at the office, causing their paths to cross once more. Will they both live the life that had been planned out for themselves or will that plan change as they grow from lifes challenges?

My first ever Samantha Chase read/listen and won’t be the last. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Noah and Lily were THE cutest. Their romance wasn’t perfect and they took it all in their stride so it felt super authentic.

I love the whole Montgomery family, and it's wonderful to see William working his matchmaking magic on the next generation now that the kids are all married off.
Lily and Noah's story was a fun one to revisit after their impetuous New Year's Eve kiss three years earlier. When they bump into one another again, it's like no time has passed. I mean, other than the three long years of daggers Lily's dad, Lucas, keeps firing off at Noah each day at work, it feels like yesterday.
But Lily and Noah each have some soul-searching to do about what they really want out of life (and a partner) before the way clears for them to be together.
If you enjoy opposites-attract love stories, this is a great one to read next.
