I'm pretty new to Samantha Chase, which means I've barely touched the surface of her Montgomery family romance, but I'm already invested. The first book in Chase's Wylder Love series focuses on Lily and Noah - Lily being a Montgomery and Noah working for them. Of course, families are involved, so we get time with several of the Montgomerys. For me, that means I got to visit with some favorites as well as some I look forward to meeting.
As for Lily and Noah, I'd have to say that I haven't been so frustrated with a couple in quite some time. I wanted to shake the daylights out of one or both of them several times, especially Lily. The thing that kept me rooting for their HEA was Noah. He's an absolute sweetheart, and just between you and me, I think he wanted to shake Lily a few times as well. But he didn't, and I just loved him to pieces.
Amy McFadden gives voice to the characters, and she does a good job. She really captures Lily's spirit and spunk. I'd have liked a male narrator for Noah, especially since the story is in dual POV, but I don't feel like that hindered my enjoyment of the book.
In this first in a new series, Samantha Chase has introduced some fun characters that I can't wait to learn more about. I'm really looking forward to seeing what's next for the Wylder Love series.

Irresistible Love is the 1st book in the new series Wylder Love. If we remember we get an introduction to Lilly and Noah in A Merry Montgomery Christmas, three years prior to where they share a kiss. You don’t have to read that one to jump into their love story but it was a great read.
I loved diving back into the Montgomery world with Lily. She’s a free spirit, dancer. Trying to chase the dream until reality sets in and an injury has her facing one of the biggest hurdles in her life. She’s lost and trying to find her identity. Noah was a numbers guy, this nerdy, lovable cinnamon roll Is completely opposite than Lily. We watch them try to navigate their way through a possible relationship, love and heartache. They had a lot of growing pains but the banter, push, pull and chemistry was sweet to read. Oh boy, William Montgomery always trying to protect his family all the way to the end. The magical matchmaker is a better name for him. Amy McFadden was the narrator on the story. She did a good job with the different characterizations. Kept me engaged in the story.
Great read and listen

After an injury, Lily heads home to rest and recover. However, she finds it odd when she arrives home to an empty house and all of her loved ones away on month long vacations. So, Lily seeks the help of one of her father's emplyees to figure out what is going on. Noah rises to the challenge of figuring out the mystery and keeping Lily distracted.

I wanted to love this. I really did. But Lily was very frustrating and at times a selfish brat. I really enjoyed Noah and the dynamic he had with his brothers but felt that Lily was constantly only thinking about herself.
You could tell that Noah would move the world for Lily. I felt as though the ending was very rushed and that "problem" resolved itself too quickly.
The audio was an easy listen, I just wish it was dual or duet narration but understand it was only one voice due to it being in 3rd person.

I was so excited to be approved for this audiobook on @netgalley . I’m always honest in my reviews and I was hesitant when I found out the story was in third person. It’s not my favorite to read. Well, I was pleasantly surprised because @samanthachaseromance did an excellent job on writing the story and after a few minutes I didn’t even notice the third person writing anymore. The story is great and follows the couple falling in love and all the ins and outs of relationships. My favorite character is the grandfather who is a pistol and so lovable! Both of the main characters are likable and relatable. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

It’s complicated!
He works for her family. She is a ballerina; dancing is her life until it isn’t. She returns home to recuperate and reassess her life. Three years ago, at a New Years Eve Party she kissed a sexy, handsome man. She finds the sparks are still there when she sees him again. His name is Noah Wylder he’s an accountant for her family’s business. Noah believes everything should have a master plan; he has a five-year-plan for his life and career. Lily Montgomery wasn’t part of that plan, but he can’t get her off of his mind.
I love this book. Noah was my favorite character. What a great beginning for a new series. This is a love story and yet there is some humor in it too. With love and working together Noah and Lily can work it out.
Thank you to NetGalley for the copy of this book for review.

I really tried to give this one a chance. But it just wasn’t my favorite. It look me a while to adjust to third person POV. I listened via audio, and maybe that was where I went wrong. The audio didn’t have a male narrator, and I think the story would have benefited with one. Lily, the FMC seemed pretty immature and spoiled. The romance between Lily and Noah was lacking chemistry for me. The characters and romance in this one just were not for me. Samantha was a new to me author and I will try another book from this author in the future!
Thank you Samantha Chase, NetGalley and Valentine PR for the audio ARC.

I have enjoyed all the books I've read by Samantha Chase. I was able to read and listen to Irresistible Love. It is a warm-hearted start to a new series. The storyline was fun with easy to like characters. I especially liked Grandpa William! I laughed and smiled, but my heart squeezed as well. Noah and Lily had a complicated romance where we get a great HEA.
Amy McFadden is an excellent narrator. She voiced both the male and female characters perfectly. She brought this book to life with an emotional performance that had this audiobook rolling like a movie in my head.
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the ALC of the audiobook. This is my voluntary and honest review.

This was my second Samantha Chase book and it was just as cute and cozy as the first one. Lily is a dancer who gets injured, forcing her to go back home and face some hard decisions. Hoping to spend time with her family and get a sense of who she is and contemplate her life and dancing career, she is in for a surprise when her whole family is away on vacation except her grandpa. However, her grandpa is up to something and Lily has no idea what except that she seems to find herself in the company of the Noah Wilder quite often. I love how these characters faced real life problems and found real life solutions.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW & RATING: 4 STARS
I have a crush on Amy McFadden’s voice!
That’s it. That’s my narration review.
Do with that information what you will :)
No, wait, one thing … this story really could have used a male narrator. If a story is written in dual POV, it should probably be narrated that way as well for maximum enjoyment *shrug*
STORY REVIEW & RATING: 3.5 STARS
It’s only been a few months since I first experienced Noah & Lily’s kiss in the book A Merry Montgomery Christmas, so I was super excited to jump into this story and read how Samantha developed their story. It was truly heartwarming and easy and just made my heart smile. Even though Lily was reeeeeeeeeeally testing me, I still loved her! I think it was more how well she suited Noah that that really sold me on her and this story in general. I very rarely have trouble getting lost in a Samantha Chase story and this one was no different. I’m looking forward to seeing where Samantha takes this series.
The story isn’t without some dramatics here and there that really could have been completely left out of the story because they were only just that, dramatics. I know that’s a me thing, but drama for drama’s sake is one of my biggest twitches! Most of those came from Lily but I’m not going to pick on her any more LOL Noah was a great character and honestly made Lily a better person in my eyes and also the storyline.
Overall, not a bad start to a new series.
That’s it. Those are all my cents. Do with them what you will :)

Lily is a dancer dealing with an injury and Noah works for her family's business. There is an intense attraction and both are worried about what'll happen with his job if they act on the attraction.
I love that Noah is the hot nerdy guy and his personality is gruff but sweet. I felt like Lily seemed lost and maybe a bit underdeveloped or immature.
If you like a Hallmark movie kinda story then you'll like this book. It's simple and predictable but it's super sweet and innocent which I think we all need from time to time. 💜
This book was well written and I will read more from Samantha Chase in the future.
I listened to the Audiobook and wasn't crazy about the voice of the narrator personally, but it wasn't so bad I couldn't listen to it or anything. I do wish it had a male narrator though.
Plot- ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 4/5
Steam- 0.5/5 *Although there's a lot of chemistry there's not really any steam.
Narration- ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 3/5 *She did a good job, her voice just isn't for me.

I really wanted to like this book. I thought the description made it seem like a super cute, easy listen. I don’t think I’ve ever met a FMC I disliked more than Lily. She acted like a spoiled brat throughout the entire book. The fact that Noah still ended up going to her in the end when she was wrong was baffling. She didn’t deserve him.
I also didn’t understand her strong opposition to surgery that played out and her “need” to do something different by becoming a cheerleader. Also in realty most NFL cheerleaders and dancers make next to nothing so I felt like it was a very odd goal, especially when she didn’t have another job. The whole book just really fell flat for me.
I like the narrators voice but also felt like she read incredibly slow. I tend to not listen to my audiobooks fast but I had this at 2x speed. With the 3rd person dual POV it was hard to follow at times with only the one narrator, too.

They kissed on New Year's Eve three years ago and neither of them has forgotten about it even though they have not seen each other since. Now suddenly Lily is back in town and popping up everywhere while getting deeper under Noah's skin. He's focused on his future and she is equally focused on hers, but their plans may have to be altered if they can get out of their own way and see what is right in front of them. This sweet romance is the absolute perfect opposites attract and a lesson in how making plans needs to be done, but also allow room for adjustments to the plan. This series is a fun read that allows you to get to know the Montgomery family so for optimal enjoyment you should go back and start with the first book, although this book is written in a manner that you would enjoy it without all the backstories. You will just enjoy it more with the backstories filled in as then you will feel like you are visiting old friends rather than reading a book!

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I was hooked from the first chapter. Lily is heading from a hip injury and is looking for the best medical option so that she can get back to her dance career. She comes back to her hometown to recuperate, and runs into Noah. Noah is trying to avoid Lilly at all costs. Not only did they kiss that one time on New Year's, but she is also the bosses daughter. They try their best to not repeat their kiss, but their attraction is too deep. I loved the protagonists, their character development was very relatable and the plot was simple and sweet. This is a closed door romance with fade to black themes.

Lily and Noah - a cute lovestory connected to the Montgomerys.
Lily insured her hip at a dance rehearsal. She drove back to her family and met again Noah, whom she kissed 3 years ago on New Year's eve.
I enjoyed their lovestory and all the familymembers around. It's funny and entertaining and the narrator did a great job.

This was my first book by Samantha Chase and I wasn’t sure what to expect… I really enjoyed it.
Irresistible Love is the first book in the Wylder Love series and this story is about Lily Montgomery and Noah Wylder.
Lily and Noah shared a kiss three years ago which caused a big issue within Lily’s family and family business because Noah worked and still works for her family's financial team. The family disapproved and were upset, to say the least!
Fast forward to now… Lily is a dancer. It’s her life. She loves it, but when she injures her hip it forces her to take a step back and reevaluate her dancing career as her dancing career may be in jeopardy. So she returns to her hometown in North Carolina to take some much-needed time to think and work out her next move. What she thought would be a warm welcome from her family was in fact not, her entire family, apart from her grandfather had gone on vacation.
Noah is a very determined man when it comes to his job. He works hard and it shows. He is committed and he’s working his way up the corporate ladder at Montgomery’s. However, three years ago, one kiss almost ruined that for him but he set out to redeem himself and stay under the radar, keeping his head down and working hard and he has successfully achieved that. However, things quickly change when Lily returns and visits her grandfather at the office. Noah can’t seem to escape the memory of the kiss they shared or the thoughts of her. She has gotten into his head. He knows that to keep his job, he needs to avoid Lily at all costs, it’s harder than expected when she asks for his help to find out what’s going on in the Montgomery family. it involves sneaking around which leads to them having to spend time alone together and because she’s never really left his mind since they shared that moment three years ago, the chemistry is still very much there. Can they control themselves or will they give in to temptation?
I really liked these two! They were both very relatable characters with very relatable problems that they had to overcome. This love story had a bit of everything… drama, emotion, love and humour. I was laughing throughout the book!
Highly recommend reading this book!
5 STARS!

Noah and Lily met three years ago, she kissed him, she took responsibility, and her dad still acts like Noah was in the wrong. He is finally getting where he wants to be in the company and Lucas, her dad, seems to be moving on. Unfortunately for him, Lily is back in town and all those feelings seem to be coming back.
Lily is injured and is looking for any doctor to tell her that she doesn’t need surgery. She is very stubborn, just like her dad. When she comes back to town, no one is there but her grandfather and he is acting suspicious. She enlists Noah to help.
As they spend time together trying to figure out what is going on with her grandpa, they both decide that they don’t want to fight it anymore. They enjoy a month together and decide that they are going to see where it goes. Unfortunately, once her family returns things change.
There were a few times when her attitude and behavior upset me because I didn’t feel like she was acting mature. I did like the conversation she had with her dad and the interactions he had with his mom and brothers. There were moments that I laughed, cried and sighed while reading this book.
The narrator did a fantastic job of bringing the characters and story to life. She put a lot of inflection and heart into her performance. I look forward to listening to more narrated books by her. I received an Audio ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.

𝗜𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 is the first book in the new Wylder Love series by Samantha Chase, featuring an entertaining second chance love story for Lily and Noah. Lily’s world is rocked when a devastating injury puts her dancing career on life support. Unable to decide what to do next, she heads for the comfort of home and family. What she finds though, are surprises and secrets on the Montgomery front, and Noah, the one man she hasn’t been able to get out of her mind since their impromptu New Year’s kiss three years ago. Noah’s priority might be his career, but when Lily needs his help figuring out what is going on in her family, he can’t resist his desire to be with her. Will they finally admit that the connection they have is an irresistible love, and not a passing fling?
I’ve been excited to read this since I read the holiday novella that covered Lily and Noah’s previous kiss! I loved Noah in this, and could really relate to him on his insecurities, although he was a bit too much of a workaholic. Lily, though, was a tough sell for me. I wanted to love her, I mean, she’s a Montgomery and they’re fantastic, but she comes off as selfish and egotistical. I mean, if 4 medical specialists are telling you that you need a treatment, you should listen to them!🤦🏼♀️ Some of Lily and even William’s decisions shocked me. I much prefer people be honest with each other.🤷🏼♀️ The two of them did grow on me eventually.😉😍 Overall, there were plenty of compelling characters, witty banter, emotional moments, and sweet romance. I’m looking forward to seeing what the other Wylder bring!
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Amy McFadden, and she did a great job bring both the male and female personalities to life, especially during the witty and emotional parts.
I received an ARC/ALC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

I really wanted to love Lily Montgomery. Her drive to achieve at the highest levels in her field of dance is so commendable. As accomplished as she was - I couldn’t handle her immaturity. Level headed and cautious-Noah Wylder jumped right at his first chance to be with her without compromising his career in the Montgomery empire. I was pleasantly surprised at his supposed bedroom prowess. Most of the romance was off page. The family dynamics and nods to the related series do balance out some of the rougher edges of the story, and I’m looking forward to more of Wylder series.
Summary:
Noah Wilder and Lily Montgomery had an unconventional beginning. While he’s been dealing with the repercussions of their midnight kiss for 3 years, she’s been conquering the dancing world. When she lands back home to recover from an injury, Noah and his addictive kisses are too tempting to resist. He's finally earned the respect and trust of the Montgomery men, when Lily drops back into his life. Family secrets, immature behavior, and irresistible attraction blend to create a healthy dose of drama for this budding couple. Will attraction be enough to overcome the obstacles in their path?
Audio Notes:
Narrated by Amy McFadden. Good quality narration. There were only a few moments of confusion when character voices were not distinct. Any performance in 3rd person POV is difficult for me to follow, but Amy created a good listening experience.
