This was such a sweet read. It definitely gave me some Hallmark vibes. Amy McFadden did an exceptional job at narrating this audiobook.

Lily was hurt dancing and needing to make some major decisions for her career. Noah works for her family's business. A kiss from the past reignites old feelings when they meet again.

Lily is a bit immature for sure. She comes from a very well to do family. Instead of directly asking some things she kind of runs around to find answers.

Noah is definitely more level-headed in the situation. Although he shies away from Lily at times because he doesn't want any riffs with her family. He didn't come from the most financially secure upbringing so his job holds a lot of value. They definitely balance each other out where needed.

So excited to get more in depth with more of the Wylder brothers.

Thank you @dreamscape_media @netgalley
@samanthachaseromance for allowing me to listen and review this ALC.

I enjoyed listening to the audiobook, Amy McFadden did a perfect job in narrating it. The story itself and plot were ok, characters were a bit flat. I like Samantha Chase's books and I will look into her future books

I couldn't wait to get Lilly and Noah's book! We first met these two in the Montgomery Christmas book. I knew their story would be good after seeing the sparks when they first met. We have the next generation of the Montgomery's in Lilly. And Noah is the first of his brothers to get a story (I'm assuming the rest of the series will focus on the brothers :)

These two have chemistry but don't want to give in due to Noah's job and Lilly's dreams. They fight it as long as they can and then their chemistry erupts. I loved watching them fall for each other. They were cute and funny. They both acted younger than their years at times. Sometimes Lilly was very immature, but both of them grew up a lot and I loved their story.

I listed to the audio and loved the story. The narrator did a great job and I can't wait for book 2!

This ended up not being a romance for me. While this started off really cute and fun, it devolved into just a frustrating mess. That is 100% because of our main character Lily. I never really warmed up to her and over the course of the book she turns into a complete brat. Lily was insufferable by the end. Because she is so selfish and self-absorbed, it made me really not want Noah to pursue her in the in. He deserved better than to be yelled at in front of her entire family which are also his employers, broken up with later that night and just in general him having to be the one to initiate everything, even her apology to him. Noah himself was super sweet and I really loved him as a character and a romantic interest.

Overall, this was just okay. I've never read from this author before, so this was perhaps not the best intro to her work for me. That being said, I'll have to check out her other books. I did enjoy the pacing and writing so maybe there's another one of her romances out there for me.

Thank you to Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for the audio arc of this book!

Wow - Samantha Chase does it again! A spin-off of the Montgomery Family, the Wylder Love series is straight out of A Montgomery Family Christmas. I haven’t yet read the whole of the Montgomery’s, but I did read the Christmas story and fell in love with Noah and Lily and their flirtation… I was extremely excited to find out this new series was their story!

Lily and Noah started out on the wrong foot, with him displacing her from her room at the family retreat at Christmas, and her behaving the a spoiled little brat - but by the end of his few days unexpected stay (being snowed in with them), they grew on each other and ended with a New Year’s kiss.

Then Lily and some family members ended up in a ski lift accident… and thus began our tale, three years later, when she further agitates the ski injury while auditioning for a dance team (for a sports team as a cheerleader). Going home to recuperate, she discovers the family has all gone traveling, except her grandfather - so she ends up staying with him and his secretiveness and running into Noah at the family company again, having to get by him to see her grandfather. The pair end up teaming up to try and find out what secrets he’s keeping.

It’s another brilliant, and such a unique, story idea from Chase and it leads us in directions I never imagined - to such perfect end results. I love her writing so much! I get completely sucked into the worlds of each series and cannot wait for the next one!

The audio is narrated by long-time favorite Amy McFadden. She always does such a fantastic job! I highly recommend everyone grab this book, but most especially the audio version. It’s so much better on audio!

I received an advance read and listen copy from NetGalley, Valentine PR and Dreamscape Media, and this is my honest feedback.

Unlike the rest of her family Lily’s dreams have always been to dance rather than finance. After experiencing a serious injury, she finds herself at a crossroads as she may no longer be able to dance the way she had and isn’t sure if she can accept anything less. She returns to her hometown however everyone is out of town except for her grandfather and Noah, the man she shared one kiss with three years earlier.

Noah is focused on his career at Montgomery’s and has spent the last three years dealing with her father’s disapproval, so he is cautious when it comes to Lily. He is convinced to help her uncover her grandfather’s mysterious behavior, but denying the feelings between them could be the biggest challenge of all.

With the help of their families, I enjoyed seeing Lily and Noah overcome their concerns about the future and realize that what really mattered is each other. The narrator did a wonderful job at bringing out both the angst and humor of the story.

Enjoyed the story line and plot but the main female character, Lily, was such a spoiled brat that a large part of me wanted Noah to just walk away. I couldn't understand what he saw in her other than surface beauty.

I would not recommend this book but I will give this author another try because I did enjoy her writing style.

Another cute love story by Samantha Chase. I wouldn't say the book is something I would recommend to everyone but it was a very easy and enjoyable listen.

This is the first time I read a book by Samantha Chase. I enjoyed the story of Lilly and Noah. After Three years that attraction is still there between them. Incredible romantic story and characters. Listening to the story I felt like I was seeing a movie.

If you like Hallmark movie, but in a good way, you'll love this movie
I truly believe that Hallmark movies get a bad name for such a dumb reason
Is it just pure feel-good romance? Yes, yes it is
And there's nothing wrong with that

I love the fact that this book has second-chance romance trope but the trope is interwoven into the book rather than just the author writing a whole book based on one trope, I hope that makes sense
I do also wish there are flashback scenes to what happened years ago so we can actually see - read - what happened rather than hearing about it or being told about it but that's my preference
I think this is such a promising series and a good romance book

It's a solid 4 star for me
Please go into this book blind because I did and I loved the experience

Thank you to Samantha Chase, Dreamscape Media, and Netgalley for providing me with this audiobook in exchange for an honest review

This was not my cup of tea. It is a second chance plot but we never got the first part of the story other than knowing a kiss happened and her family was upset about it but never any further explanation. I think a prologue of the incident may have helped. I also just didn’t feel connected to the main characters. The romance felt very instant without that backstory and also too lusty for my taste. It also had all the 3rd act drama that drives me nuts. I’ve seen reviews call this closed door and it does fade out but there is plenty of fairly detailed lead up to leave true closed door readers uncomfortable. If a reader likes a fairly cookie-cutter Hallmark type plot but wants more spice, this would fit that description. The 3rd person voice works with one narrator and Amy McFadden did a good job but I really like hearing a male voice in a male point of view.

I received an advanced copy of this audiobook from NetGalley. The thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.

Content Notes: Multiple fade to black with detailed lead up

After being at the Montgomery's Christmas, I was hoping Lily and Noah would find their way back to each other! That small interaction was just enough to spark my heart for them! Lily is back home after a hip injury has interrupted her dance career. Once getting to her parents' house, she finds out everyone is on vacation except her grandfather, and he is busy, telling her to use his guest house. Yes, this is unusual for her close knit relatives, but it will give her a chance to get some additional opinions for her injury. Bumping into Noah wasn't part of the plan, and yes, it was awkward. But when he comes to her aid when a guy is hitting on her, the chemistry between them explodes. But will it last? Secrets kept, life decisions to be made, family drama, incredible passion, you name it, Samantha Chase has tossed it in to keep me plugged in and wanting to know what was going to happen next! I love seeing the Montgomery family, there is not a family that could care for each other more. Meeting the Wylders is a blast! Noah's brothers each have a completely different personality, but their love for each other is strong. And Lily's grandfather, that man is the best! Always the optimistic matchmaker, he is definitely the man in charge. This is a great listen and I cannot wait to hear the other Wylder brothers!

Amy McFadden is a favorite. She is so good at finding the voice, and creating the personality for each of her characters. As Lily, she is frustrated, a little bratty and definitely passionate in all things. Switching to her male voice, she has Noah as he works through his own obstacles, confused, but always knowing where his heart lies. She is amazing and gave a fabulous performance.

I’ve been a fan of Samantha chase for a while so I was super excited for this one.
It’s exactly what I expected. It’s romantic, fun and family centric. Chase does a great job with characters and that’s the case here. I loved both main characters and I understood their motivations. I especially think the romance was well done. Definitely swoon worthy!

This was my first Samantha Chase book and I went in without knowing much about the book or the author..

This story is about Lily, a dancer that has been injured and is at a cross roads with her career. Noah works for her family’s business and has recently been given more responsibility while many of the top family members go on vacation.

Noah and Lily have a past (just a kiss on NYE at a family party) and Lily’s dad does not like Noah very much after that stunt. Lily comes home after becoming injured and runs into Noah and sparks begin to fly.

Overall, it felt like insta love to me and I couldn’t bring myself to connect with Lily. She is nice enough but very out of touch with reality. This was an easy closed door romance listen and Amy McFadden did a great job narrating. This one was not for me being as it was too Hallmark-y but if you need something light with a HEA pick this one up when it comes out!

Over all rating 2.5-3 out of 5.

Thank you Netgalley and Dream Scape Media for an audio arc

I had a hard time with this book because I kept asking myself “why do I care?” There wasn’t enough of a draw for me to be invested in the characters or their love story.

Lily comes back home after a dance injury that will require surgery. She decides going home will help ease her and make the decision easier. She is afraid if she gets the surgery she will never dance again. When she arrives most of her family is out of town. Her grandpa is still around so she decides to stay with him but he is acting strange and sneaking around and taking a lot of private calls. She decides to rope in Noah to help her figure out what is going on. She met Noah 3 years ago after they shared a kiss on new years. Turns out Noah works for her dad and grandpa and has been getting hell from her dad since that kiss.

Amy did a wonderful job narrating this story along with switching her voice for each character! She really brought the story to life.

I loved Lily and Noah! The chemistry was undeniable with these two and still there after 3 years! They could not stay away from each other despite Noah wanting to avoid her as he worked for her family’s company! I liked the adventure we went on with these two! This was such a nice quick read! This is my second closed door romance and I actually didn’t mind that! I definitely recommend this book!

I have been provided with a review copy of Irresistible Love from NetGalley for an impartial review. This book was just so easy to get lost in. I completely got lost in the story and I just loved getting to see these new characters come together. I just absolutely love this story and I just didn’t want to put it down. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.

this was my first samantha chase book and i may try another again in the future but this one very much just wasnt for me.

dnfing at the 50% mark because i feel like theres just entirely too much going on without anything actually going on if that makes sense???

we have all of these different subplots going on all at once but everything just seems to be running in circles. i dont need to know every single repetitive thing about lilys appointments, she needed to grow a pair and confront her grand father way earlier than she did because that kind of got old quick as well.

theres A LOT of dialogue in this book that feels too immature for grown adults.

a huge thing im like what the hell about is that this was branded as a sexy book right? its closed door. which yes of course sometimes books can be both, however this one is not one of them. i dont mind closed door books whatsoever but i do think that they should not be branded as something they aren’t.

it started out really promising, i was having fun until i wasnt. unfortunately it got really repetitive and boring and i just dont want to listen to four more hours of the same nonsense 😅

Sometimes, a good Hallmark style audiobook is exactly what you need!

Lily life is spent doing one thing, following her goals as a dancer, until she can't. With very few options left, she decides to head back home to NC and figure out what she should do next. She doesn't expect some of those decisions to involve the guy she kissed on a family trip years ago!

Lily was such a free spirit and sometimes not in the best way. Most of the book I kind of found her overbearing. But I loved that Noah was able to calm her down when she would freak out. Or he was always there when she needed him. Even when she didn't know she did! He always wasn't afraid to call her out of her bullsh*t.

Noah... MY GOSH! This sweet man. Honestly, he made the whole story! He was so adorably sweet!

Amy McFadden did a FANTASTIC job narrating this solo! Which is a hard thing to do!

I received this audiobook early in exchange for an honest review!
