Noah has been trying to prove he’s the model employee at work three years after a NYE kiss with his boss’s granddaughter. Everything is on track for his five year plan until she appears back in town and keeps colliding with him. Lily is nursing her wounds after a career ending dance injury and has no idea what she will do next. All she knows is that all paths seem to lead to Noah. These two have undeniable chemistry and can’t stay away from each other. Swoony and fun, this story of Lily and Noah will leave you smiling! I’m very excited for the next Wylder brother story!

Irresistible love. This audiobook was a second chance love book. But the narrator helped to make into an entitled female character that it was hard to listen to. She was more like the character who got dumped for the person they feel in love with. I would not recommend this book at all

This is a spin-off series from Samantha Chases' Montgomery brother's series. This is a fun boss's daughter book. Our hero Noah Wylder is a man with a plan. After spending his childhood with an absentee father and very little money, he wants to make sure he rises through Montgomery financial group to have security for himself and his mother. The boss's daughter Lily jeopardizes this. Three years ago she gave him a big New Years Eve kiss in front of her family. Noah's boss has still not forgiven him for that. Now after three years of remembering that kiss, Lily is back in town. She is a dancer who has been injured, and it trying decide on surgery. Noah is left to look after things at work as the Montgomerys have all gone on a big vacation, except the founder, and Lily's grandfather William. Lily finds her grandfather's behavior strange, and enlists Noah to help her find out what is going on. Shenanigans ensue, and Noah and Lily find out that they are irresistible to each other.
I really enjoyed this book, and I look forward to books for Noah's brothers, a NFL player and a rock star. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape for the advanced listener copy. Amy McFadden narrated wonderfully. I highly recommend this book. 4.5 stars.

Lily and Noah were so stinking cute from the very beginning. I don’t know the crack story for these 2, but that didn’t matter after a while because their friendship (and everything after) was precious. I can’t wait to get more about Noah’s brothers in the future.

Thanks NetGalley for the ARc of this audiobook. I thought this book was very cute and basic. The characters were okay and had a nice romantic connection. The story was okay, I could summarize it in a few words.
Rich girl likes boy. Parents don’t like boy. Years later they rekindle and hide their relationship. Rich parents hold career over boys head. The end. It was worth the quick read and something light hearted.

This is a mix between a slowburn- but insta love
But Noah is trying everything to prove he's a great employee and he is
and Lily is a dancer (her family runs the company) she's hurt and has to take time off the heal and have surgery but she refuses to.
This didn't work for me because Noah was great but a doormat and let people treat him bad his boss Lily.
Lily came across as a Brat and intitled so I wasn't rooting for her.
I've enjoyed other works from this author and I see what the goal was i just wasn't vibing with the main characters.
Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for this audio arc in exchange for my honest opinions.

5-star review of Irresistible Love (Wylder Love #1) by Samantha Chase
eBook/Audio:
I was so excited when I heard that Samantha chase was releasing a new series. Even more our heroine is Lily Montgomery whom we have met before. In fact, The Montgomery series from Ms. Chase is one of my favorites and knowing that they were going to make an appearance in Irresistible Love just made my day.
From the first chapter I was hooked on this story. The characters were engaging, and you cannot help but fall in love with them and the story that Ms. Chase wove.
From the moment Noah Wylder and Lily Montgomery met there was a connection. Fast forward three years and thanks to a potentially career ending injury, Lily, a dancer has returned to Charlotte to contemplate her future.
When Lily asks Noah to help him when her grandfather William starts acting suspiciously, neither of them realize the impact it will have on their lives or the complications. When tragedy strikes will Lily and Noah be able to keep their relationship going or will they be torn apart?
Amy McFadden narrates Irresistible Love, and she did a good job with her performance. Her voice is easy to listen to, although I would prefer that a man narrated the male characters. She brought the angst, romance, passion, and humour to the characters and did justice to the story that Ms. Chase wove.
I received a copy of the audio book from the publisher through Net Galley.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to listen this audio arc.
Lily, a dancer who is trying to recover from an injury, travels back home to spend time with her family after some upsetting news. She soon discovers that both her parents and grandmother are both on month-long trips. She goes to stay with her grandfather, who suggests she stay in the guest house instead of one of the many bedrooms in his house. Cue a little mystery?
She catches herself checking out a guy, Noah Wylder, who happens to be a past flame (they kissed in the past). We follow their story and why they cannot be together, her journey with her injury, and her trying to figure out what's going on with her grandfather.
The characters were quite juvenile, specifically the heroine. She had a lot of growing up to do, and that was mentioned several times by older adults in the story. She was called out for being selfish, and I would agree. I didn't like her, and I didn't like how she treated the hero - at one point (79% into the book, after they've started dating), even calling him a crappy person and rude for agreeing with her family that she should get a recommended surgery.
I found the whole reason why they couldn't be together silly. Noah works for the family business, so there's that conflict of interest. But the whole reason they feel they can't be together is that Noah says that Lily's dad hates him... because he kissed her at a gathering, in front of everyone.
As a listening experience, it was fine. The narrator, Amy McFadden, did a good job, but I would have preferred a duet or dual narration, especially with the parts of the book that were from the male perspective.
While I have read and really enjoyed some of Samantha Chase's winter romances, I did not enjoy Irresistible Love. I'm not sure that I will try the next book in the series, but I might depending on the tropes/main characters.

This book was ok but I found the story to be kind of bland . I am completely disappointed that I didn’t like it as much as I was hoping because I kept hearing about this book and it sounded like it would be something I would love.

I did this one as an audiobook. The narrator was good.
The story and the characters were kind of bland.
Lily was a spoiled brat, and it seems most of her life she was very unapologetic about it until she gets called on it later into the novel.
Noah is a sweet guy, your typical honest goodness nice guy. Never speaks up just does what he’s told. Selfless. Unfortunately in this story I didn’t think it worked out. He came across as boring and lacking any sort of real passion or substance. I hated that I didn’t like his character more.
The premise = Lily moves back to town and is still crushing on Noah years after their kiss that she initiated three years earlier that apparently was some big huge deal. I never quite understood why it was such a big deal but her dad goes ballistic because Lily and Noah kissed.
To be honest, the part of the book that I most cared about was Lily’s grandfather I think that’s the only time I was really invested in the story. 😢
It’s not one that I was very excited over reading, but was easy to get through. I never felt like DNFing but I wasn’t rushing back to finish it either.

I will say this, a second chance romance is one of my fave tropes and this one did not disappoint. I loved Noah and Lily, love both of their families, this book was all around adorable. There were times that it was a little repetitive with lily's situation, but other than that it was a sweet read. I would read more from this series though.

Overall this was a very fast paced, lighthearted small town romance. There were so many tropes in this book that I usually really enjoy but I couldn’t help but feel like something was missing from this story.
I enjoyed the narrator but really wish we had a male narrator, dual narration is just so important in a romance audiobook. I felt like the female narrator did a great job though.
I will definitely try another Samantha Chase book!

I thoroughly enjoyed the initial two-thirds of the book, particularly the endearing relationship between Lily and her grandfather. The mystery surrounding Grandpa's secret added an intriguing element to the plot. Noah's character was captivating, and I appreciated Lily's self-awareness about her privileged upbringing when contrasted with Noah's challenging childhood.
However, the final third of the book is where the story began to lose me. Lily's character development took an unexpected turn. She became a shallow and petulant person, who reacted poorly to adversity. This shift was disappointing, especially since Noah, who had done nothing wrong, is the one who in the end took the steps to make amends.
The epilogue left me perplexed. Proposing after only two weeks of reconciliation following months of separation when their relationship had only lasted a few weeks to begin with was jarring.
Initially a solid 4-star read, the book's rating dropped to 3 stars due to the shortcomings in the final act.
On a positive note, Amy McFadden's narration was commendable. Her pacing and emotional delivery were spot-on. While I generally prefer multiple narrators, Amy's ability to portray both male and female characters convincingly stood out. Kudos to her for maintaining a quality performance in depicting a male character when so many audiobooks are leaning towards duet narration.
Thank you to NetGalley and DreamScape Media for providing me with an Advanced Listener Copy.

Rating: 3/5
Format: ALC - Audiobook
Narrator: Amy McFadden
Quick Thoughts:
-This is my first book by Samantha Chase. I would read more books by SC depending on the tropes!
-I really enjoyed listening to Amy McFadden and I would listen to her again.
-Even though I thought the narration was great...I think it would've been easier to read physically or ebook format. It would switch from FMC's perspective to MMC's perspective in the middle of the chapter and at first it threw me off but the narrator did a great job with the voices to help.
-All of the pivotal moments felt like an eye roll. And it became a little too predictable.
-Noah > Lily
I recommend Irresistible Love for those who like the following tropes:
-second chance
-family secrets
-secret relationship
-boss's daughter
-closed door romance
Please take note of the following TWs:
-Cancer
-Injury
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the chance to listen to this title.

Lily & Noah shared a kiss 3 years ago, but nothing could ever come from it because he works for her family.
Lily was really frustrating me and I never really warmed up to her. From only feeling like she can eat salads to her keeping her health issues to herself yet being mad when her grandfather didn't share his to her 3rd act shenanigans. She was so stubborn and just totally bugged me. I did like when she finally figured things out in the end.
Sweet Noah, sweet sweet Noah. I loved him. I could see why he was having reservations about being with Lily.
While the epilogue was cute I found what happened to be too soon to give it a realistic feel with how their story was told.
Overall, an okay start to a series. Even though I didn't absolutely love this one I'll see what the rest of the series has to offer for Noah's brothers.
Narration notes:
Eh, Amy does okay, but I wish we had a male narrator.

Irresistible Love is everything you expect from Samantha Chase. She is known for her well developed characters and love stories.
Montgomery is a name Samantha Chase fans are familiar with. Lily Montgomery has big dreams far away from her hometown. A brief encounter with one of her families employees won’t get out of her head….or her heart. She is unexpectedly thrust into her hometown where she realizes that she is completely lost.
Lily deals with Family drama, health issues, and this guy that she keeps running into as she searches for answers.
I listened to the audiobook version of this book. A fan favorite Amy McFadden narrates all of the character voices. Amy McFaddens narration is flawless.
I hope this turns into a series.

Thank you for the chance to review this book. Attached is my review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/6182753677

This is a sweet intro to a new series by Samantha Chase. She introduces a new set of brothers that will each hold their own storylines as the series progresses. It includes all the things you want in a romance read; forbidden romance, family drama, steamy chemistry and a second chance at love.
This one was warm and cozy and had me smiling while I listened. There were parts where Lily, the FMC, irked me- she kind of came off a little whiny, though she acknowledged that in her dialogues. Noah was a great lead to counter Lily. They were each strong where the other wasn’t and each held the other accountable. Noah was the standout for me in this one, more so than Lily. He was bold when he needed to be and really grew in his right.
The way Chase sets the tone for the future books to come in this series was great and I am looking forward to what else is to come out of the Wylder boys!

Thank you to @netgalley for the chance to review Irresistible Love by Samantha Chase. I LOVE Chase’s books - and the Montgomery family especially! This book left me with the same happy feeling. This closed-door romance was super sweet. Dancer Lily Montgomery kissed financier Noah three years ago and Noah has been getting flack from her father at their mutual job. Lily returns home after an injur and can’t seem to stay away from Noah … and meddling Grandpa Montgomery is up to his old matchmaking tricks! A total feel-good book!
Excellent narration!

2.5 Stars Irresistible Love is the first book I’ve read/listened to by Samantha Chase, and while I’m not opposed to checking out her other works, this one just wasn’t for me. The plot fell a bit flat and I didn’t find the characters particularly likeable (though they weren’t explicitly unlikeable either). Sadly, there wasn’t much about this that was memorable and some of the dialogue felt a bit awkward.
