An easy sweet will they wont they/second chance romance. Noah and Lily had a moment three years ago that neither can really let go of no matter how they try. When Lily is injured she heads home to her family for some comfort and to recover emotionally and physically. What she doesn’t expect is to find almost everyone away on a vacation and staring into the eyes of the one man she can’t get out of her mind and heart. It’s an enjoyable, listen that takes them to their happily ever after and this leaves us with some nice choices for the next in the series. No surprises and predictable and yet didn’t care as it is what I adore this author for.

A light, enjoyable, contemporary romance, Irresistible Love kept my interest without raising my stress level. Lily is a dancer who's lost confidence in her future due to an injury, and Noah works for her family's investment business and hates the idea of annoying his boss, aka Lily's overprotective father. The importance of family is a strong secondary theme, as Noah depends on his two brothers for advice and support, and Lily is surrounded by a huge loving family that at times threatens to overwhelm her but always has her back. I definitely see potential for follow-up books featuring Noah's brothers, and if they come, I'll be sure to read them.

This book started off optimistic in but then went downhill for me. I liked the fact that the main character was a dancer & that she was dealing with an injury. I didn’t enjoy the writing and i felt like it kept taking me out of the story. For me the relationship was a bit fast, i really wanted way more of the tension and pinning before they finally got together and i feel that isn’t what i got.
I really enjoyed the family dynamics in this book, it was my favorite part.
I didn’t like the narrator. The narration felt a bit stiff, which kept taking me out of the story.

Lily Montgomery loves two things with her whole heart; dancing and her family. When an injury and the threat of surgery put her dreams in jeopardy, she decides to move back to her home town and surprise her family. Little does she know they are all on vacation! Now she’s staying with her grandfather, who’s acting really suspicious, and running into her father’s employee everywhere.
Noah Wylder has spent the past 3 years being hounded by his boss because his daughter, Lily kissed him at a NYE party. Now with all the Montgomery’s on vacation, he’s in charge of all of their accounts. He has built his career from the poverty he grew up in. He doesn’t want to do anything to jeopardize that, but at the same time he can’t fight his attraction to Lily.
This was a quick and sweet read! I really enjoyed Noah’s character. Lily was childish at times but I think the point of the book was to show her growing into who she wants to be! Lily and Noah were complete opposites that complemented each other perfectly in their relationship! This is a closed door romance with only kissing shown. This is my first Samantha Chase book but I definitely want to go back and read all of the other Montgomery’s stories!

Alc review
Lilly and Noah started 3 years ago when Lilly kissed him at a new years party, for the company her grandpa and dad ran.
Her dad held a grudge towards him and gave him heck for 3 years. Lily, a dancer, suffers an injury that is going to keep her from practicing before tryouts and she returns home to recover. She did not expect to see Noah.
Noah is levelheaded and sweet also is a driven man, who works hard and knows what he wants and trying to prove to lily father he is responsible man. When the family go on vacation they trust and put him in charge.bit things get complicated when Lily show up and they have this attraction for each other and they can't keep their hands to themselves.
The narration was good, purely just one voice. I truly believe it should have been two narrators because it was a bit confusing.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the audio ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Cute but it does feel like I've read this before. Lots of the same plot and character points of Samantha's previous books without as much depth

I loved the Montgomery family in previous books and this one is no exception. I am excited for a younger generation/new series by Samantha Chase. Lily, a dancer, suffers an injury that is going to keep her from practicing before tryouts and she returns home to recover. She did not expect to see Noah, the guy she kissed on New Years a few years back. Noah works at Montgomery's and is really the only non Montgomery in a higher up position. He is very committed to his job and is already getting flack from one of his bosses, aka Lily's dad, about the New Years kiss. With most of the Montgomery's gone on vacation, Noah and Lily spend lots of time together and are unable to resist the spark between themselves.
I love cheesy, feel good romance stories. This closed door romance was sweet, but at times I found Lily very immature with how she handled her injury. I forgot that Noah was older and am shocked that was not a turn off to age. I am from NC so loved the references to Charlotte, just with they were a little more correct with downtown vs uptown. I did like how they navigated the issues together, more so as a couple, than not cluing the other in to their challenges. Overall, a good, sweet romance!

This is a closed door, contemporary romance about Lily, an injured dancer who comes home to regroup, and Noah, her ex-fling who works at her family’s financial firm. Lily is a bit spoiled, and although she acknowledges that and it’s a part of her character arc, it’s hard to take sometimes. Meanwhile Noah is her complete opposite, levelheaded and sweet, and of course completely smitten. Their romance seems pretty shallow though, like mostly based on physical attraction, which again, it was closed door, but it left no question up until the door closes. The better relationships that were shown were the family dynamics. There was quite a bit of setup for that, as it seems to be the first book of a future series. There’s lots of room for development and future good Hallmark-type romances to grow from there. The audiobook was read well and it made for an easy listen. Overall, it was a decent 3 star book. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the audio ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I am giving this audiobook 3.5 stars. This was not my favorite way an audiobook was done as it was in a single narrator and in third person which normally is not my thing. The narrator did a good job, but it would have been better with a male narrator.
The story between Lilly and Noah started 3 years ago when Lilly kissed him at a new years party, for the company her grandpa and dad ran. Her dad held a grudge towards him and gave him heck for 3 years until Lilly came home. She was living her best life as a dancer until an injury forces her to step back and she decided on a last minute decision to go home. Once she got home she realized everyone was on a month long vacation except her grandfather, she thought she would get to spend time with him but he sent her to stay in the guest house. She goes to visit him at the office and runs into Noah that first day and then they keep running into each other and all the sparks start flying between them and it just went from there. As things went along with there relationship things became more real for Lilly and she really had to decide what she wanted in life.
I would say this a sweet contemporary second chance romance.

This is the story of Noah and Lily. Noah is a driven man, who works hard and knows what he wants. He works for Lily’s family, so when she kissed him three years ago, he’s felt like he had to prove himself even more. When Lily returns home after she injures herself, it’s to get away and get further advice on whether to get surgery for her injury.
At home though, all her family, bar her grandfather, have gone on holidays. She starts to spend time with Noah and realises there’s still an attraction there. Will they act upon it?
This is a sweet love story, no major obstacles, just trying to work out what they want and need in life. Very Hallmark movie vibes.
The narration was good, purely just one voice, which was a little questionable at first but you get used to it. It got a little confusing sometimes as to whose voice she was speaking, so you need to focus as to not lose that.
Overall, a good sweet story, good audio, and worth a read / listen.

I have always enjoyed this author’s stories, and when this audiobook for her new series became available, I was very excited.
This new series introduces the Wyler brothers, and this one belongs to the oldest sibling, Noah. Noah is the numbers man. When his father left his family behind, he was determined to keep his family stable and helped his brothers achieve their goal.
Working for the Montgomerys in their firm has been a great experience but since the day three years ago when he shared a kiss with Lily Montgomery, her father, former NFL player, and his boss, Lucas, her Dad seems to be constantly giving him a hard time.
Now that Lily is back for a visit and decide about her future and a possible surgery that could end her career, Noah’s straight arrow life, takes a winding road.
These two are adorable together, not only in their budding romance, but as individuals.
When an emergency occurs , Noah gives Lily his total support. But what happens when the family discovers their relationship?
What will Lily decide about her career and the possible surgery? Will she pursue her dream and leave Noah behind or will they realize that being together and supportive of each other is the way to go?
This listener thoroughly enjoyed this first story of the series, and looks forward to the next one, hopefully coming out soon.
I was entrusted a copy of this audiobook by Netgalley and Dreamscape. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Interesting premise but under developed story. The characters all felt very flat. Also there is a lack of chemistry and limited backstory as to why FMC and MMC like each other so much. FMC felt very bratty. The audio narrators were great. Had I been physically read I would have DNF’d.

Trigger Warning:
Cancer diagnosis and treatment of a family member (not main character)

After an instant connection that went horribly wrong, Lily and Noah walked away from each other but when an injury has Lily returning to her family the feelings she had for Noah come right back to the surface. Noah does not want to rock the boat and he knows if he allows her back into his life, his job may be on the chopping block, but when an unknown health scare hits her family, time, proximity and a true sense of fighting for what you believe in comes into play. Will her family see Noah in a different light? Or are they doomed from the get go? Once again Samantha Chase brings her readers into a family drama that wraps them up in a soft blanket, warming their souls with love, understanding and strong family ties. Cannot wait to read more in the series. Perfect narration really brought the story to life.

First in a new series
Lily is a dancer who has done it all- the Rockettes, Broadway, travelling. Now she is auditioning to be an NFL cheerleader when she injures herself. She returns home, to Charlotte NC, to recuperate. There she runs into Noah- the hot nerdy guy who works for her families financial firm. The guy she kissed once, years ago. After Lily kissed Noah at her family's New Year's Eve party years ago, Lily's father has been making his life miserable. Lily admitted she instigated the kiss, but it doesn't matter. So while Noah is still attracted to Lily, he is determined to stay far away for the sake of her career.
While I say I overall enjoyed this book, Lily and her father are both difficult characters to like. Lily can come of spoiled and entitled sometimes. Her father, while mostly absent and only talked about, is a bully. I liked Noah and Lily's grandfather a lot.
While the author has set many of her other books in fictional towns, this one is set in Charlotte. Setting stories in really cities requires research. Unfortunately, some things are not quite accurate. Luckily, few details are given about the city, since the few that were mentioned are wrong. There is no Wegman's grocery store in Charlotte. The chain has recently expanded into North Carolina, but the handful of stores are in the Raleigh area. Another discrepancy, the center of Charlotte is called 'uptown', not 'downtown'. There is not a "downtown Charlotte". Details like this always drive me crazy.
Amy McFadden narrates the audiobook and does a good job.
I received an advance audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

Quick Summary: A second chance at forever
My Review: Irresistible Love by Samantha Chase is book one in the Wylder Love series. It features the relationship between Lily and Noah.
About the Book: Noah Wylder is a driven man. He has a plan for his life. He knows what he wants and he works hard to achieve it. He doesn't need anyone or anything to change his trajectory. Every time his life path crosses with Lily Montgomery's life path, however, he feels as if he totally loses himself in their stolen moments.
My Final Say: After reading/listening to the first book in the new Wylder series, I can honestly say that I am excited about what's to come. I enjoyed meeting the brothers. They all seemed to be good guys, despite what they had to live through.
Book one, regarding Noah and Lily's story, captured my attention. It was a simple wo-fi romance about second chances, about growth as individuals and as a couple, and about family. The issues that were presented were real life challenges that I could completely relate to, such as dealing with the illness of an elderly family member, admonishing someone you care about, and making major life decisions when it's easier to just go with the flow.
Other: The thing I most appreciated about this couple is that they didn't pretend to have all the answers. They went through the messy in order to get to the beautiful.

Thank you to the author, to the publisher (Dreamscape Media), and to NetGalley for providing access to an audio ARC of this title in exchange for an honest review. It was a pleasure to read this novel and offer up my thoughts and opinions. I am grateful for the opportunity.

Ok book. The classic close proximity, second chance romance. Didn’t make me feel any special way.
2.5/5

Lily Montgomery is the renowned Montgomery ballerina and Noah Wylder is the numbers nerd who works for the family. Three years earlier a kiss at a Montgomery New Year's party started the sparks between them.
Lily has returned home after an injury that could end her career. The two once again meet when Lily shows up at the office to visit her grandfather.
Noah Wylder is a planner and has career goals that he has his eyes set on climbing the corporate ladder at Montgomerys. When Lily shows up all his plans are disrupted. William Montgomery uses manipulation to put them together just as he did three years ago!

This is my first book by Samantha Chase. I was pleasantly surprised that her book was a closed door romance.
Noah was sweet. Lily was kinda annoying, she acted snobby. She seemed to be overly self centered and shallow; plus she constantly name dropped her family name. She didn’t listen to anyone’s advice. I didn’t like her. Overall, I enjoyed reading this, I finished it in one evening; but it is pretty basic. It’s not the most romantic story and there’s not stand out swoony moments but I’d still recommend as a simple hallmark romance.
The narrator was awesome. I loved the vocal emotions.
I think it’s important to share triggers from the book. There is some brief cancer anxiety and discussion with an emergency hospital scene.

I want to start by saying that I really liked the narrator. I like her voice, and I think she did a great job reading this book.
The things I liked:
Lily is a dancer.
Noah is hard-working.
I’m going to be honest: I didn’t like this book. The romance is insta love, and Noah goes on and on about being unable to be in a relationship with Lily because of how her father (his boss) would react, yet he only stays away from her for two seconds before he makes out with her. Lily is also just completely unlikeable. She’s winy, spoiled, and shallow. I didn’t like her at all. Noah is not really any better. He might not be shallow, but he’s a workaholic and a pushover. Their romance was bland, and I didn’t enjoy it at all.
My rating: ⅕ ⭐️

Samantha Chase has done an exceptional job telling stories that are connected to characters in previous novels. I love her writing. This was so fun. The characters have depth and feel like people you know. I love that we get a new series with brothers. T
