This is a good book. The two main characters are Miranda and Knox. They have known each other since college. Miranda moves back home to work at the hospital where she interned. Miranda and Knox are general surgeons. There is an attraction. Los of people have been saying that Miranda should go for the head surgeon position but she doesn’t want it. Knox would like the job too. They start dating and fall in love.

Surgeon Miranda Paulson returns to Phoenix to reconnect with her sisters and rebuild her life after burning out and getting divorced. She unexpectedly encounters Knox Peters, her fierce rival from medical school, internship, and residency, still at Hope Hospital. This medical romance, filled with chemistry, lively personalities, and hospital politics.

An engaging romance between surgeons. Lots of back story problems for both. Some touching moments. An interesting look at doctors and their patients. I skipped over any intimate details. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

I may be biased as I had the pleasure of interviewing Juliette Hyland several years ago, but she is one of my favorite Medical Romance authors. This is a must-read (as are all her books).
