โThe worst thing about being cheated on is the humiliation of living with someone who believes you are too stupid or oblivious to know what they are doing.โ

Leo and Diana, seemingly happy couple with adorable twin boys, Rowan and Sawyer. But their world gets flipped upside down when Sawyer gone missing! A mysterious text points the finger at Leo, the husband with a not-so-clean history to tell the truth.
Diana knows she can`t trust him, but she`ll do anything to find their son back!

๐๐๐จ ๐ฟ๐ค๐ช๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ is like a ticking time bomb! It switches perspectives, letting you see the whole messy situation from different angles includes POV from Serena - Leo's mistress.
But the coolest part? Each chapter is a countdown to a major event teased at the beginning.
You just gotta keep reading to find out what goes BOOM!
Think you've figured out the plot twist? Uuhm.. Think again!
Nicole Trope throws in a curveball that'll leave you saying "Wait, what?!" 'till I felt like a detective piecing together clues just to solve the whole case in the best possible way, and to be honest, this is my first time to read Nicole's book.
Actually, theres was one character whose ending tugged at my heartstrings. I got attached throughout the story, but let's just say their fate wasn't exactly as sunshine and rainbows. A bit dissapointed maybe (?) but overall i love the story goes.
For me, this book is kind of a rollercoaster ride of suspense, secrets, and family drama that'll keep me guessing until the very last page! Got 4,5/5 โญ from me ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ

Nicola Trope is the one of my favourites when I want a twisty pacy thriller that I know will deliver and His Double Life once again hit the mark. Expertly plotted, well developed characters that kept me guessing from start until the finish. I couldn't put this book down, and loved every page.
We, and Diana, find out from jump that Leo is a gigantic jerk but just bad is it?
When Diana receives a text that their son will be returned "when Leo tells the truth" she decides that leaving isn't enough and decides to turn the tables on the dirtbag.
It's delightful.
Just brilliant! I love this author's beautiful writing. She makes us invested, makes us care. Every one of her books is just wow and this story is no different. Loved this one so much.
I loved this book it was fast paced the twists were incredible and just kept coming to slap me in the face and I was totally here for it. I was on the edge of my seat and biting my nails for most of this book. Fantastic

Nicole Trope takes us on a wild ride with His Double Life. Amazing twists and crazy action keep you at the edge of your seat until the very end.
The title gives us a little hint to a double life. But what exactly is this double life? What secrets are hidden?
An absolute must read for thriller lovers.

This book was an interesting read, it had several twists and turns that I didn't see coming. Getting multiple POVs was very helpful cause there was always a lot going on in this book at the same time, but it could also be easy to get lost in all the things going on at the same time also. The grand finale ending was a nice conclusion to the book but I'm still not sure how I feel about the punishment to the crimes committed. This book will have me thinking about it for a while.
Another winner from this talented author. I love a revenge story, when the character hasn't got a clue what's going on but the reader knows just that little bit more. This one starts with a sucker punch, before making us wait a while to find out why such a terrible thing might have happened. It was deliciously taunting, the author leading the reader like the pied piper through the build up to a nail-biting ending. And a twist you can't possibly guess. A very satisfying read.
An enjoyable read that pulled me into a guessing game right from the start. The twists and turns will keep you turning the pages as always with Trope's books. Though not my favourite by this author, with a theme based on secrets, lies, deceit and revenge, short chapters and mutiple character POV's it was still a quick and easy read and will appeal to the lover of a good domestic suspense!
Another fabulous book by the amazing Nicole Trope. She has such a way of pulling you in and keeping you hooked right until the very end.
A complicated tale dealing with forgiveness and revenge. Unfortunately I couldnโt decide at the end if the author was leading us to agree or disagree with either concept.
However I did enjoy reading the book with its interesting characters and great twist.
Leo and Diane Palmer are the parents of twin boys, Rowan and Sawyer. Leo is in real estate and Diane is a nurse/midwife.
Leo is attending a real estate conference and is approached by a beautiful woman who invites him to her room. Heโs excited as he enjoys hooking up with someone when heโs at conferences. She calls herself Serena Burns but thatโs not her real name. Leo is hooked and wants to meet with her again.
Diane knows that he has probably cheated on her when he returns home with flowers for her and chocolate bars for the boys.
Leo thinks he is a star real estate salesman with his fancy car and braggart ways. As we learn more about him, we find that he is a huge liar, as well. His character has been carefully crafted by the author which I found to be amazing. The story opens up to show a huge secret that he has been keeping for a long time but is ready to blow up in his face. What a story. At first, I couldnโt imagine where it was going, but as it played out, it intrigued me more and more, plus the ending was spectacular. Super good book. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were intriguing and I loved the ending. I like how we got to see from multiple people and the way information was revealed was so good. Very much enjoyed and will deffo be recommending
As Always Nicole knocked it out of the park with another twisted and clever read. This was a sizzling paced book that kept me guessing and reading as fast as I could. I have yet to find one of her books that is a miss for me. Bravo on His Double Life.
His Double Life by Nicole Trope is a clever domestic suspense novel which is told from many different points of view.
With great characterization, it is a well written tale of family, secrets, lies, infidelity and revenge.
I recommend it to readers who enjoy main characters they love to hate.
The first part of His Double Life kept me glued to my Kindle screen because it felt like the plot was going to be twisty, moreover Leo is just a despicable character and you want to read more to know if he's going to be punished. Unfortunately towards 50%, I felt the plot slowing down and despite the plot twists, I found the ending a bit dull. Altogether I felt like it was not a real thriller but rather simply literary fiction.
I just finished His Double Life by Nicole Trope for my @bookouture book tour and here are my thoughts.
Diana is ready to divorce Leo. She knows heโs cheating and he ignores her and their twin boys. The letters in his drawer are enough to upset her already delicate life and she knows now she really doesnโt know her husband at all.
When she agrees to help the truth come out.. a truth so horrific, it frightens Diana and shakes her to her very core. Now her husband's lies have put her family in danger and Diana doesnโt know what to do next.
I love psychological thrillers and I read enough of them that I am rarely surprised. This book managed to pull some surprising twists that I didnโt see coming.
It was really well written and once I started, I couldnโt put it down. The book comes from Diana, Leoโs and the lady Leo is currently cheating with POV.
I found the whole book really entertaining and definitely worth the read.
4 stars

Wow what a fantastic donestic thriller. Told in 3 oarts with 3 main pov. I was gripped from page 1 wanting to know what could have happened yo have lead to a child being kidnapped. The characters were well developed and it was good to have a male pov. I loved tge way it was pulled together in part 2 just when i thought I'd worked it oug a curveball. The actual plot was almost like a hollywood film. The interactions were well written and gave substance to the character. It also dealt with ideals of mortality punishment and retribution in a skillfull manner.
Thank you so much netgallery and publisher and author for this page turner 5 stars a quick conoelling read.
This is the fifth book I've read by Trope now and it's definitely one of my favourites to date.
The book is split into three sections, with each being narrated by one of the main characters. With each section the pace steps up a notch, culminating in a huge plot twist that was pure genius!
His Double Life is a pacy thriller with karma, justice and retribution being the name of the game.
Trope has created a brilliant cast of solid characters, all of whom had a hidden motive up their sleeve.
I devoured the book in less than twenty four hours the plot was so compelling and addictive.
I really enjoyed the book and would definitely recommend both it, and Trope to all psychological thriller lovers.
A good domestic thriller.
I love this author's books and this one is no exception.
We know from the title that the male main character is leading a double life. But what exactly that would entail I did not know.. I was interested right from the start to find out what he was up to. It was not what expecting, at least not entirely.
I was hoping for a little more suspense feel to the story. Once I knew the secrets, it unfolded without much surprise for me. That was the only downside to this one.
I love the character development and the easy to read style of writing. The ending was a perfect solution. Gotta love some Karma.
Thanks to netgalley and Bookouture for the arc.
