A husband with secrets and a missing child. What has he done to get to this point? This book is a page turner that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
I really enjoyed this a brilliant thriller full of mystery twists and turns. I was gripped from chapter 1 and didn’t want to put it down.
I loved the characters they we’re interesting a little crazy and filled with secrets and lies
I look out for books from this author as she certainly doesn't disappoint. Leo and Diane have a great life, lovely house, twin boys and want for nothing.
Hubby has a secret that if it gets out will tear his family apart. When he sleeps with another woman he soon wishes that he hadn't. Someone is out for revenge and wants him to pay for what he got away with. He does everything to keep it from his wife but does she already know.
Yet another enthralling book from this author.
Such a fun tale of revenge!! Diana knows that her husband Leo is cheating on her but she will not let his lies and deceit ruin her. This was such an intriguing story where two stories intersect in such a clever way!
First of all I am a huge fan of nicole trope books. But this was not a book for me. The start of the book was good, but after a while it felt like a bad movie. Thank you to netgalley for letting me read this e arc in exchange for an honest opinion
I really enjoyed this one! I found Peter to be the most endearing of the characters. The story line was fast enough to keep me wanting to read, and slow enough to develope the plot with almost flawless detail.
I felt emotional at times, anger, sadness, and like Melissa I felt a deep compassion for Peter and his sacrifices.
All around this was a fantastic story, with great suspense, memorable characters, and just enough twists to keep you in. Great job.
This one was a wild ride! Had a hard time putting it down because I couldn’t wait to see what was happening next!
Diana and Leo are a married couple with twin boys. All seemed to be well, until it wasn’t. Diana was going to find out what was going on, and oh boy did she ever!
Do you know all the things about your significant others past? Are they keeping secrets from you?
Thank you to @Nicoletoule @netgalley and @ booktor for this arc copy of 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.

This is my first Nicole Trope book and I can say I’ll be definitely be reading more of their books in the future.
𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄;
Leo and Diane have been married for 15 years and they have a perfect marriage until they don’t.. Leo has a past and thinks he will get away with it and why wouldn’t he, he’s on top of everything, even when his wife starts so notice the smell of perfume on his shirts or how he’s keeping things hidden in locked desks, how long can he really keep fooling everyone in his life, past and present and what will he do when it catches up to him?..
I every time I thought I knew what was coming, bam a new twist I loved all the different povs, it did get slight confusing for me at times but that may be because I’m not used to reading 3rd person, overall o throughly enjoyed this book and Leo gets what he deserves in the end.
This book is absolutely jam packed with twists and turns. I am literally still in shock, no matter how you try to guess, you definitely won’t see the surprises coming. Extremely gripping and easy to read, definitely hooks you in. Brilliant bunch of characters plenty to love and hate. Will definitely read more from this author.
How far will we go to satisfy the desire for revenge? In this book we clearly see that there are no means to achieve ends. And no one, no one, escapes the fury of losing someone we love.
Leo is a man with a mission: to be the best in everything he does regardless of whether his family, colleagues and friends suffer as a result. Diana is a mother dedicated to her twin children and a wife content with the crumbs of affection that Leo gives her. Until the day when one of the twins is kidnapped and Leo has to tell the truth so that his son doesn't suffer the consequences of his actions. But things won't go well like that and with a plot rich in strong and determined characters, all the secrets have to be revealed so that no one else has to pay with their life. I really enjoyed this reading, it is a very real approach to how the desire for revenge and justice can affect our judgment and that the past can always come back to pull the rug out from under us.
His Double Life is built up of Three parts… told by the three main characters…
Diana – loving wife, and mother who has gut feelings her husband holds some red flags but chooses to ignore them.
Leo – the husband.
… and the other person who I will keep a secret to avoid spoilers! We will call them the sneaky one!
The book starts with 5 weeks ago, reading the lives of the Palmer family… which slowly whittles its way down to the Now.
This book was incredibly written, as all Tropes books are. I could feel the pain, and the unhappiness emanating from the pages when reading the chapters from Diana – wishing she was appreciated by her husband and not taken for granted.
While I instantly hated her husband, there may have been some personal feelings of hate in there with him being a dirty little love rat! But written with such charm and charisma it made me a little bit happy to find how the suffering he had caused had been turned onto him.
Nicole Trope has been one of my must read authors for quite a while and her latest book His double life definitely didn’t disappoint – this book was compelling from the start, and I found it hard to put down.
Bravo!
This is a super domestic suspense read
Just how far can retribution go until its past fair, you can decide that as you read this fiery, punchy thriller that brings something new to this genre
Can you still say ‘unputdownable’? Well am saying it as it was, it really had me thinking and plotting in my mind what I would do in the same situation and thought the characters were so well done, so ‘human’ in response, actions and emotions
The author guarantees a good read but for me ( and as a fellow reader told me when I started this book ) this is her best one yet
Is that enough? It really was outstanding
This was a quick and fun ride! A domestic suspense thriller told through multiple POVs. I enjoyed the characters' motivations and intentions being revealed as the story progressed and the little twists and turns as well. The story keeps you wondering where it is going and you're trying to figure out how the different dots connect until part 3 of the book. I liked how the ending wrapped the story up, but felt like it lacked the punch of a thriller that I've come to expect. Overall, good read!

In our large family home on a peaceful tree lined street, I clear away the breakfast things whilst my husband ignores me, his eyes on his phone. Leo comes home from conferences with flowers for me and hugs for our ten-year-old twin boys, but each time I smell an unfamiliar perfume on his shirt. I know all about his affairs, and it's tearing my heart in two. When one of the boys tumbles into the kitchen, full of laughter that he beat his brother in the race back home from the park, I smile despite everything. When his brother isn't right behind him, I start to worry.... and then I get a text message that makes my blood run cold.
Diana and Leo have been married for fifteen years, the boys, twins Rowan and Sawyer, are ten-years-old. They live close to the park. After being at the park, the boys race each other home to see who is the quickest. But Sawyer is taking a while to get home. Diane's phone vibrates with a message - If you want Sawyer home, your husband needs to tell the truth.
This is a domestic suspense novel that has been well-written and it's a compelling read. The characters are well-developed, but I didn't like Leo. Nicole knows how to fool you into thinking you have it all worked out, but you'll be wrong. The pace is slow to start with, but it soon picks up. The story is told from multiple points of view. This is a quick and easy read'
I would like to thank #NetGalley #Bookouture and the author #NicoleTrope for my ARC of #HisDoubleLife in exchange for an honest review.
This book was so much more than I thought it was going to be. A dark, twisted story full of plot twists and suspense. Nicole Trope is one of those authors that I'll read without knowing the synopsis.
Received this as an Arc. Great read, finished it in just over a day. Overall it kept me invested the entire time by changing characters each chapter and getting different pieces of the puzzle with each one. I loved how all the characters tied together and the ending was great!
This book grabbed my attention from the very start. It was a quick read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The characters were well developed and I loved how we came to find out each of their true colours. I found myself wondering what I would do in each of their shoes, which was interesting to say the least. There's nothing quite like a book that challenges your morals.
I highly recommend this book if you're looking for a fast paced, easy read that will leave you pondering your moral compass. This would make an excellent bookclub read!
4.5 stars. Another great read by this author whose books never disappoint. I don’t even need to read the blurb to know I am going to enjoy them. This book had a unique storyline that kept me hooked and wondering what was going to happen. Great ending and thoroughly enjoyable book
A domestic suspense with an eye for an eye plot. I devoured this one as I do all Nicole Trope's novels. This had an easy reading style similar to McFadden's, but with characters with a little more depth. There were moments in this that had me laugh and moments that were so heartfelt and devastating. This was an impressive read that had plenty of twists along the way and a writing style that made it so addictive. The only thing that stuck out in any negative way for me was that almost every character had blue eyes. This sort of thing usually never bothers me. Maybe it was just my current mood. Either way, I loved this one, and the plot and characters themselves made up for all the blue, blue eyes. Four solid stars.
Thank you, Netgalley and Bookouture, for this ARC.
Diana has been married to Leo for over 15 years. In the beginning she felt he was the perfect husband. Attentive. A good provider. They got pregnant with twins and it was too much to handle for him. He wasn’t the most attentive father and would slip away. As the boys grew into 10 year olds Leo seemed too busy building a career in real estate to notice them. Diana asks herself is this normal? Leo has to attend conferences for his real estate career and Diana suspects he might have a fling at these conferences. He comes back renewed and happy. He buys himself an expensive car and might be having an affair. Is this a mid life crisis? Diana is contemplating divorce and isn’t sure if she should break up her family. Then Serena the women that Leo has been sleeping with contacts Diana and it turns out Leo has a lot of secrets he’s been hiding over the years…..
I couldn’t put this down. I thought that Diana was a relatable character. She didn’t know what sort of monster she was married to. She was focused on trying to create a happy family for her children. I think moms are really going to enjoy this juicy read.
