"She broke my damn brain"
Lovelight Farms is a series I call a warm hug and this final book wrapped up that hug in a nice red bow. All the tiny details carried on from the other books truly made this something special. It is not just about Charlie and Nova, but the town as a whole family coming together (all connected through the phone tree)
Just like each of the other couples, Charlie and Nova have their moment of not only self-discovery, but also that of found family. Providing both individuals with the space and ability to recognize what they need in life, provided depth and individualization to the characterization of romance and love.
Something that B.K. does well is understanding character arcs and incorporating “unseen” disability, whereas it is not their whole personality but more so a part of them that flows with how they interact with each other throughout.
I will say I am sad to see the ending of Lovelight farms (hopefully just for now) but excited to see what B.K. comes up with next.
If I had one comment it would be that I saw the word "boneless" and "business casual" one to many times.
I loved this. I loved every single second.
I didn’t much care for Lovelight Farms. But I adored this book from the jump.
The flirting, the banter, the chemistry, the charm, everything was done to perfection.
Nova and Charlie were the perfect grumpy x sunshine/friends with benefits combo. I loved them as individuals, and I loved them together. They're opposites in many ways but they balance each other out perfectly.
No notes. I would not change a thing.
This beautiful book is so, so soft and cozy with a gorgeous dollop of steam and plenty of emotional depth.
• The banter had me smiling while reading the whole time!
• I'll never forgive B.K. Borison (but really I am so,so,so,so thankful!!!!) for dreaming up the most heavenly small town that we cannot actually go to! It's probably my favorite fictional place ever.
• The ultra cozy + steamy reminds me of Cat Sebastian's historical romance. So, I'll call these authors readalikes for that reason!
• You could read this one as a standalone, but I think it works so much better as the conclusion to a series and just highly recommend reading them ALL! It made me so happy to see past characters.
• Migraine caretaking is basically peak romance to me. I'd rather give birth in my living room again than have a migraine, and I know exactly how grateful Nova was for Charlie's presence because that is how I've felt when my husband takes care of me (during migraines and childbirth actually!😅)
• That epilogue is what my romance dreams are made of! Literally perfect!
I'll read this series again and again! So glad it was written! Thanks netgalley and Berkley!!
What a beautiful ending to this series! While I’m sad that this is the final book, I am excited to see what the author writes next. She’s one of those authors that once you read one of her books, you’ll want to read them all. In this one, a one-night stand to “get it out of their system” leads to feelings that neither expected. And the journey to love is worth every second. If you’re a fan of books with the friends-with-benefits to lovers trope (its one of my new favorites now!) then you won’t want to miss this one. If you’ve been reading the series from the beginning, I can PROMISE you that this book is everything you’ve been anticipating. Charlie and Nova are absolute magic, and I adored their story to pieces. Highly recommended. This entire series is amazing!

The last book in the series is always such a bittersweet feeling, but this was an amazing end to the spicy, feel-good stories of the Lovelight series. While I truly enjoyed all the characters of Inglewild, Nova and Charlie were my favorite. Filled with playful banter, sarcasm and spice, their attraction and desire for one another is intoxicating. Nova is sassy and smart and Charlie is perfect. He’s not only handsome and charming but trustworthy, funny and her biggest cheerleader. 🥹 As their stories unfold and their lives entangle, you can see how well they compliment one other as they slowly let their guards down. This story gave me all the feels- I was laughing, tearing up and swooning over their relationship. Go read this!
100% delightful! This is such a perfect ending to a series I never want to end. The way I would move to that town in a heartbeat is wild, considering it doesn't even exist.
This writing is perfection. The small town is total goals. Charlie and Nova's chemistry is HOT. Charlie's the perfect golden retriever. I just love them so, so much!
My sincere hope is that we revisit these characters again someday, and that this isn't really the end. But if it is, they'll be the perfect re-reads year after year!
Thank you to @authorbkborison , @netgalley , and @berkleyromance for the ebook ARC!
It is no surprise I am obsessed with this series. These books have humor, wit, spice, romance, hilarious small town shenanigans, and a Christmas tree farm…
For me, nothing will top Stella and Luke’s story, but this is a very close second, maybe a tie. I absolutely loved every single moment of this book. This author can make you fall head over heels for her characters and for the town of Inglewild, a town with a phone tree for gossip, a bakery to die for, and a coffee shop where you never know what’ll be available for you or not.
Charlie and Nova’s story is special, and not just because it’s the last. But because Charlie is a people pleaser, he’s got a big personality, and an even bigger heart.
A perfect ending that hopefully isn’t really an ending at all. Charlie described it best when he said he felt homesick for a place he’d never been. Same, Charlie, same.
oh my god. i’m about to make this book my entire personality because IT ABSOLUTELY FREAKING ATE AND LEFT NO CRUMBS
the lovelight farms series has a special place in my heart and this was just icing on top of the cake. i’m sad that it’s over but glad that it ended off strong.
it felt SO good to be back in inglewild !! i truly missed the found family / small town romance vibes. i thought beckett and evie were it for me, but i was absolutely obsessed with nova and charlie.
i truly can’t get over how relateable both characters were - their insecurities about not being good enough / not wanting to disappoint others HIT HARD. it spoke to me on a spiritual level. i feel like we are our own harshest critics and to read this and see internal and external acceptance was refreshing.
also the little gender role switch nuances were so so so good. i loved that expectations were swapped around here. i was being surprised left and right and i was devouring it upppp !!
I enjoyed this book a lot!
It kept me engaged the whole time, and I really enjoyed the banter, the side characters, the setting and the SPICE.
I love this little town and the close knit relationship between everyone in it. It’s adorable. I enjoyed being back and seeing how everyone is doing and how the relationships from previous books have grown.
Nova is a bad*ss, tattoo artists, super independent and hard working. When she decides she needs to let go for once and have a little fun with Charlie (Stella’s brother) who has always been a flirt with her, it sets something into motion that they thought they could keep “business casual” but, of course, it turns into something that they have trouble keeping casual 😏
Their banter throughout was so fun, their chemistry was great and the SPICE 🥵 there was definitely more spice than I expected and I loved it. I also thought Charlie was precious, and my heart hurt for him and his struggles with his dad and putting himself first.
I really enjoyed how it ended too. The whole thing played out like a movie that I would love to watch. This was such a sweet story and I’m so glad I got the opportunity to read it early!
This was an absolute DELIGHT!!🥹
Nova & Charlie, I was immersed in their dynamic from the beginning. The back and forth, the tension, the BANTER, the chemistryyy🧎🏻♀️god, I loved them. Charlie's golden retriever personality complemented Nova's feistiness beautifully.
The love, care and desire between them was PERFECT. I loved seeing their vulnerability and how GENTLE they were. They both had inner battles they had to fight through but they always saw through and knew what the other needed.
Charlie is perfect in every way. His flirty banter, him pining for Nova, savoring every crumb he got from her was so hot and made me fall for him even more. I also didn’t expect this to be so incredibly emotional, he really pulled my heartstrings sometimes. I just wanted to hug Charlie and tell him everything will be alright. Nova is unique and I loved her character. She genuinely cares so deeply for the people she loves. I related to her so deeply, her insecurities and struggles felt so real to me. I may have gotten emotional many many times. Nova’s moments with Beckett was so heartwarming, I loved seeing their relationship.
This was such a perfect ending for this series, I still don’t want to believe it’s over. Don’t mind me while I grieve. These characters will always have a special place in my heart. This town and the relationships between them is simply magical and beautiful, I really loved it. I’m sad to say goodbye but also excited to see what bk borison has in the works for us🫶🏼 I have no doubt it will be a new favorite.
I cant recommend this series enough!!! This series will transplrt you to the most comforting world with the best characters. You will laugh, cry, swoon and feel everything with them and have the best time🤍
Thank you to the publisher for the eArc.
I truly don’t know how to put into words how much I’ve loved this whole series. B.K Borison has put so much love into these and this one is no different. I loved the relationship and dynamic between Charlie and Nova, as well as how clearly the love between the core friend group and family was written. It’s really bittersweet to have finished this series but I can’t wait to read her future works!
Back for another trip to Lovelight farms. I love it every time that we wo there!! This time we have Charlie and Nova, whose siblings' stories are in previous books. I loved Charlie and Nova's relationship. The incredibly subtle incline, while still giving us the spice that we need. i especially loved how Nova, and all their friends, helped Charlie to realize that he was important too and he didn't need to put himself on the back burner to help out his loved ones!
Thank you to Netgalley, Berkley, and the author for an advance copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Thank you so much to Berkley for my gifted e-copy!
I have loved everything BK Borison has written, and this book is no different! It’s an incredible ending to this series, which I’ve loved so much. Have your tissues ready!
Nova Porter is a spirited tattoo artist (and Beckett’s sister), and Charlie Milford is a polished investment banker with a goofy side. Nova’s new tattoo studio in Inglewild demands her full attention, but her attraction to Charlie is an undeniable distraction.
Their agreement for a one-night stand to get each other out of their systems backfires spectacularly, leaving us with scorching-hot sexual tension, witty banter, and beautifully vulnerable moments.
I absolutely loved these two. Charlie is more than just a hot guy in a suit, and Nova is a firecracker who’s full of depth. Their grumpy/sunshine dynamic is hilarious, and the dual POV is the perfect format to watch these two fall for each other. They seem like total opposites, but as we get to know their innermost thoughts and desires, we realize they’re more alike than they seem.
The small-town charm of Inglewild, along with cameos from my favorite couples, was comforting and familiar. The representation of ADHD (Charlie) and chronic migraines (Nova) is handled with sensitivity, making their characters even more relatable.
In The Weeds is still my favorite of the series, but this book is a very close second! This swoon-worthy romance blends sensuality, tenderness, and wit in a heartfelt, small-town setting. I’m sad to see this series end, but I can’t wait to see what Borison has in store for us next!

Since this is the final book in the Lovelight Farms series, I was so excited to see things wrap up. While this was a 3 star read and still enjoyable, I'd have to say that it is probably the weakest of the series.
I liked Nova and Charlie's story arcs as individuals, but their romance just didn't hit for me. I felt like Nova was creating problems for why they couldn't be together for no reason. And the story definitely focused much more on the physical aspect of their relationship with little time spent on the emotional side. Majority of the scenes we got of Nova and Charlie together were sexual, and we didn't see these domestic moments of bliss they had. Nova talked about them, but we didn't see them.
There wasn't much happening in this book. The conflict felt weak so the book felt weak.
I could not wait to return to Lovelight Farm and this book did not disappoint. This book is a part of a series, but can for sure be read as a standalone.
I've always accidentally found myself reading the lovelight farms series and I've enjoyed each one. It has all of my favs: small town, opposite attract, grumpy/sunshine ( shes the grump) and .he falls first.
I absolutely loved this book. Nova and Charlie were perfect for each other and I loved seeing them find their way towards each other. I feel like this book was one big giant hug ( with steam) .It was both familiar and new and I enjoyed every minute of reading it.
Im so sad the series is ending!!!
A solid 4 stars for me.
Thank you to netgalley for this arc. All opinions are my own.
I LOVED THIS BOOK. This was one of my most anticipated books of the year and it did not disappoint. Charlie and Nova were perfect together, their banter was impeccable, their chemistry was off the charts, and I just swooned each and every time they were on the page with each other. I will probably need to reread this again to have a more coherent review but this was an absolutely beautiful ending to the Lovelight Farm series.
Thank you to Berkley Romance for the arc - all opinions are my own!
Business Casual by B. K. Borison is a fascinating & chemistry filled, opposites attract small town romance between an investment banker & a tattoo artist/tattoo shop owner. This book felt like a hug & I think I say that with every book I read or B. K. Borison!
This is book #4 in the Lovelight Farm series, which can easily be read as a standalone. However, this series as a whole has been an utter delight & I recommend each & every book!
Business Casual is great for fans of…
💚 Small Town Romance
💚 Close Proximity
💚 Opposites Attract
💚 Chronic Illness & Mental Health Representation (Chronic Migraine & ADHD)
This series takes places in the epitome of a delightful small town & showcases the wondrous beauty of a small but strong community with it’s slightly overbearing & gossipy neighbors & the love & support they have for each other.
I loved having a main character with a unique job as a tattoo artist. & the fact it was really neat she was a woman owned business with her tattoo shop. The connection between this pair is undeniable & I adored their banter right from the start.
As a chronic migraineur with ADHD, I felt so seen. This is also only the third book I’ve ever read with chronic migraine representation & it’s done well!
If you are looking for a heartwarming small town romance, I highly recommend Business Casual & the entire Lovelight Farm series!
Massive thanks to NetGalkey & Berkley Publishing for the gifted copy, which I voluntarily read & reviewed.
I love this series so much. Absolute perfection.
Nova and Charlie's story is fun, emotional, steamy and romantic. It's everything you want from this genre. These are smart, complicated, relatable characters who live in the perfect setting of Inglewild. I'm so sad for this series to end but I know I'll reread MULTIPLE times. They're that good.
Absolutely loved this story.
I initially read it as a stand-alone, but it is the fourth in the series. I highly recommend reading the books in order as the characters are developed as you go. In the fourth novel, there are many side characters that require the details from their individual stories.
It's still a fabulous novel and kept me wanting more.
Prepare to be smitten!
BK Borison’s Lovelight Farms series is one of the swooniest and most quotable books I’ve ever read.
Business Casual brings the same signature quirkiness and relatability as the other books do. I instantly fell hard for the two main characters as the journey begins at a fun filled wedding. I was laughing, and felt so much peace and comfort being back in the small town with some of the most lovable characters in fiction.
Business casual is a great way to conclude this series and although I am sad that it is over, I am so thankful to have read all of the books.
Business Casual is available on 7/16. Thank you to Berkeley for my ARC.
