Business Casual is absolutely charming!
It is filled with fantastic characters & a cozy small town setting. Inglewild is a place that I wish were real haha.
Charlie and Nova are definitely opposites. She's the black cat to his golden retriever but they just work. They find a home and a place of belonging in each other which I found incredibly sweet and romantic. The development of their relationship from no strings to falling in love was done perfectly. It was a slow build up to their romance and I loved every moment of it. This book will definitely have you in your feels!
I was not expecting this to be as steamy as it was! I was pleasantly surprised. I mean we have hand necklaces, sexy selfies and biting?!? Hold my fan! I found the intimate scenes were sexy and tasteful. The chemistry Nova and Charlie had was undeniable.
Absolutely adored this book!

I need you to know from my HEART, with the upmost sincerity, how much I adored this book🥹😩😭🫶🥰 and how truly devastated I am that this is the last of the Lovelight series!!! ❤️🩹
✨Charlie + Nova
✨CHARLIE!!!!🧎♀️🥵🙂↕️ my sweet sweet man!!
✨one night stand > friends with benefits “business casual” > lovers
✨the FLIRTING! the BANTER!!💯 top freaken tier! I was blushing!!
✨found family 🫶 the way the precious couples were so beautifully included! the phone tree! family dinners!
✨migraine rep! and he takes care of her even when she refuses to ask for help🥹
✨spicyy🌶️
✨he’s learning he’s worthy of love, she’s learning she doesn’t have to loser her independence in relationships!!
Y’all clearly I loved it!! I tried to force myself to savor it + make it last until I accidentally binged the second half in one sitting! I couldn’t help myself!🖤 I can’t wait to revisit this series over + over again!

I treated myself to a little @authorbkborison early and I’m so pleased that I did. It’s not normally my style to read a last book in a series immediately because that means once I finish, it’s over? Couldn’t be me.
But I’ve been enamored with Lovelight Farms - four books of found family on a Christmas tree farm, are you kidding me? What a gift. If Stella and Luka brought us lovesick cowards in agony, Charlie and Nova bring us hornily intrigued antagonists, which is my very favorite trope (some might call it a veeery mild “enemies to lovers”). Charlie is Stella’s golden retriever half-brother, and Nova is Beckett’s grumpy, tattooed youngest sister.
Charlie does something financial in NYC, Nova moved back to Inglewild to open the town’s first and only tattoo shop. She’s the featured artist, obvs. They’re both thrown into each other’s path again at Stella and Luka’s wedding. Sparks fly on the dance floor of all places, and Nova propositions Charlie. 🔥
Charlie, a major flirt, did not see this coming and sort of rejects Nova but sort of doesn’t by telling her if she really wants him for a “business casual” hookup, she really needs to ask again. Reader, she asks again. 🔥
There are some Big Lessons learned amidst all of the hooking up that they truly and misguidedly believe is clandestine (this man launches out the upstairs window to avoid Beckett), it’s very fun and good and my heart grew 800 sizes bigger because of these two flawed but beautiful people, etc.
Charlie has ADHD (love him, duh) and his dad is a total waste of breathable air. He doesn’t feel wanted anywhere, and over the course of this story, he finds his own self worth. ADHD really makes you struggle with the concept of being desired, and having room in somebody’s heart the way people are in yours.
Nova, so afraid of failure and disappointing others, learns how to ask for help, how to be a part of something that isn’t her own little island. And also she has a sternum tattoo 🌹so of course I find her 🥵.
It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to the 🎄 with the rescued 🐈🐈⬛ and decadent 🥐. Put it on your TBR anyway.

4.25 ⭑ “it’s nothing special and everything wonderful at exactly the same time.”
this series just feels so realistic and depicts love stories in such an authentic, relatable way. the simplicity of these couples and the love, fun, and happiness found through what could be seen as the mundanities of life is so beautiful.
charlie and nova are such a real couple. their love is so normal!!!! I LOVE THAT. unless the subgenre requires it, I’m not too big of a fan of some unrealistic romance plot lines. I want a couple that feels real, that feels obtainable, that feels like a couple I could see in the grocery store and tell my husband how cute they are. I want authenticity and genuine connection, and these two are that!!

i’ve put off writing this review bc i’m just not ready to accept that my last trip to Inglewild is over😭
this series is so special to me and will always be a go-to comfort read. Bec’s writing has always felt like a warm hug or comforting poem, and Business Casual is no different.
the relationships that we get to see with the rest of the Lovelight couples brought tears of joy to my eyes (Beckett is still the loml in case anyone was wondering). and getting to dive deeper into the sibling relationships between Nova and Beckett and Charlie and Stella?! just when you think you can’t love these characters more, they have a heart-to-heart with their sibling, and to put it as eloquently as I possibly can: GAH!!!!
but let’s get on to the main event. Nova and Charlie. NOVA AND CHARLIE.
Charlie. the bumbling little sweetheart that man IS. giving me heart palpitations the entire book!!! OBSESSED is putting it mildly🧎🏼♀️
and independent Nova trying to prove so much. to herself, to her family, to the world. she puts so much pressure on herself and, even though i got frustrated w her at times, it was an honor to watch her self discovery and realize it’s not a weakness to ask for help. especially if that help is coming from a sexy spreadsheet guru.
i would also like it officially on record that I would do anything (ANYTHING!!!) to get my hands on charlie milford’s photo diary.
the last thing i’ll say, since this review has become rambling, is that fans of the series are not ready for the epilogue. it had me straight WEEPING in its perfection.
thank you endlessly to B.K. Borison for not only writing this series, but for giving us readers a soft place to land when we’re in need of comfort. and to Berkley for gifting me an arc in exchange for my honest review. (i’m having this moment engraved on my tombstone.)
read if you like:
+ small town romance (and phone trees and festivals)
+ seduction by marshmallow
+ “we’ll do it once to get it out of our system”
+ “once wasn’t enough”😏
+ top tier sibling relationships
+ forced proximity via town committee
+ BANTER
+ black cat x golden retriever
+ a man who will color code your spreadsheets

Thanks to Berkley for an eARC. All opinions are my own.
Perfection. Absolute perfection from BK Borison with the fourth and final instalment of the Lovelight Farms series.
Charlie and Nova are, individually, delightful characters but then together, with their chemistry? It's off the charts. I love the banter BK has written for them, the silly situations they find themselves in, the way they believe in one another, the way they love one another and their families and friends.
I feel like we not only get a wonderful story of a couple, but we also get a satisfying conclusion to the series by being able to catch up with each of the previous couples to see how they are doing in life. Thankfully, all are happy!
Charlie was one of my fave characters in the first book and to see him now as the MMC in his own story is great as we get more insight into who he is, why he loves Inglewild so much, and the depth of character he has. He's so loyal to Stella and his friends and he thrives in the small community.
Nova is also great. She didn't feature as much as Charlie did in previous books, so getting to know her better was wonderful. She's a great balance to Charlie. She's so determined an stubborn and creative.
I think fans of the series will be delighted with this book and while I would love to see more books from BK set in Inglewild, I'll also be satisfied if we don't return to this community.

Wow! I’m completely obsessed Charlie, Nova, and this whole entire book. I loved the friends to potential lovers trope & the CHEMISTRY between the two lovers. The temptation, flirtation, and banter between the two was perfect. I’m so happy I got the opportunity to read this as an early release. An easy five star read!!!!
Thank you NetGalley, B.K. Borison, and Berkley for my physical and digital ARC!

I haven’t read any books from the love light series and I didn’t know this was part of the series when I requested it. This is also my first book by the author and I’m not sure how I feel about it. I felt it was a bit slow and I found myself not wanting to pick it up. Maybe I would have felt differently if I would have read the entire series and knew the backstory of certain characters

By far my favorite B.K. Borison book! What a way to end the series. Charlie and Nova are addictive to read! When he called her Nova girl I fell deep.

This book is a great addition to the series. I loved this story that I raced through - a perfect weekend read. If you are looking for a story that makes you smile, then this is it.

"She broke my damn brain"
Lovelight Farms is a series I call a warm hug and this final book wrapped up that hug in a nice red bow. All the tiny details carried on from the other books truly made this something special. It is not just about Charlie and Nova, but the town as a whole family coming together (all connected through the phone tree)
Just like each of the other couples, Charlie and Nova have their moment of not only self-discovery, but also that of found family. Providing both individuals with the space and ability to recognize what they need in life, provided depth and individualization to the characterization of romance and love.
Something that B.K. does well is understanding character arcs and incorporating “unseen” disability, whereas it is not their whole personality but more so a part of them that flows with how they interact with each other throughout.
I will say I am sad to see the ending of Lovelight farms (hopefully just for now) but excited to see what B.K. comes up with next.
If I had one comment it would be that I saw the word "boneless" and "business casual" one to many times.

I loved this. I loved every single second.
I didn’t much care for Lovelight Farms. But I adored this book from the jump.
The flirting, the banter, the chemistry, the charm, everything was done to perfection.
Nova and Charlie were the perfect grumpy x sunshine/friends with benefits combo. I loved them as individuals, and I loved them together. They're opposites in many ways but they balance each other out perfectly.
No notes. I would not change a thing.

This beautiful book is so, so soft and cozy with a gorgeous dollop of steam and plenty of emotional depth.
• The banter had me smiling while reading the whole time!
• I'll never forgive B.K. Borison (but really I am so,so,so,so thankful!!!!) for dreaming up the most heavenly small town that we cannot actually go to! It's probably my favorite fictional place ever.
• The ultra cozy + steamy reminds me of Cat Sebastian's historical romance. So, I'll call these authors readalikes for that reason!
• You could read this one as a standalone, but I think it works so much better as the conclusion to a series and just highly recommend reading them ALL! It made me so happy to see past characters.
• Migraine caretaking is basically peak romance to me. I'd rather give birth in my living room again than have a migraine, and I know exactly how grateful Nova was for Charlie's presence because that is how I've felt when my husband takes care of me (during migraines and childbirth actually!😅)
• That epilogue is what my romance dreams are made of! Literally perfect!
I'll read this series again and again! So glad it was written! Thanks netgalley and Berkley!!

What a beautiful ending to this series! While I’m sad that this is the final book, I am excited to see what the author writes next. She’s one of those authors that once you read one of her books, you’ll want to read them all. In this one, a one-night stand to “get it out of their system” leads to feelings that neither expected. And the journey to love is worth every second. If you’re a fan of books with the friends-with-benefits to lovers trope (its one of my new favorites now!) then you won’t want to miss this one. If you’ve been reading the series from the beginning, I can PROMISE you that this book is everything you’ve been anticipating. Charlie and Nova are absolute magic, and I adored their story to pieces. Highly recommended. This entire series is amazing!

𝗠𝗬 𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The last book in the series is always such a bittersweet feeling, but this was an amazing end to the spicy, feel-good stories of the Lovelight series. While I truly enjoyed all the characters of Inglewild, Nova and Charlie were my favorite. Filled with playful banter, sarcasm and spice, their attraction and desire for one another is intoxicating. Nova is sassy and smart and Charlie is perfect. He’s not only handsome and charming but trustworthy, funny and her biggest cheerleader. 🥹 As their stories unfold and their lives entangle, you can see how well they compliment one other as they slowly let their guards down. This story gave me all the feels- I was laughing, tearing up and swooning over their relationship. Go read this!

100% delightful! This is such a perfect ending to a series I never want to end. The way I would move to that town in a heartbeat is wild, considering it doesn't even exist.
This writing is perfection. The small town is total goals. Charlie and Nova's chemistry is HOT. Charlie's the perfect golden retriever. I just love them so, so much!
My sincere hope is that we revisit these characters again someday, and that this isn't really the end. But if it is, they'll be the perfect re-reads year after year!

Thank you to @authorbkborison , @netgalley , and @berkleyromance for the ebook ARC!
It is no surprise I am obsessed with this series. These books have humor, wit, spice, romance, hilarious small town shenanigans, and a Christmas tree farm…
For me, nothing will top Stella and Luke’s story, but this is a very close second, maybe a tie. I absolutely loved every single moment of this book. This author can make you fall head over heels for her characters and for the town of Inglewild, a town with a phone tree for gossip, a bakery to die for, and a coffee shop where you never know what’ll be available for you or not.
Charlie and Nova’s story is special, and not just because it’s the last. But because Charlie is a people pleaser, he’s got a big personality, and an even bigger heart.
A perfect ending that hopefully isn’t really an ending at all. Charlie described it best when he said he felt homesick for a place he’d never been. Same, Charlie, same.

oh my god. i’m about to make this book my entire personality because IT ABSOLUTELY FREAKING ATE AND LEFT NO CRUMBS
the lovelight farms series has a special place in my heart and this was just icing on top of the cake. i’m sad that it’s over but glad that it ended off strong.
it felt SO good to be back in inglewild !! i truly missed the found family / small town romance vibes. i thought beckett and evie were it for me, but i was absolutely obsessed with nova and charlie.
i truly can’t get over how relateable both characters were - their insecurities about not being good enough / not wanting to disappoint others HIT HARD. it spoke to me on a spiritual level. i feel like we are our own harshest critics and to read this and see internal and external acceptance was refreshing.
also the little gender role switch nuances were so so so good. i loved that expectations were swapped around here. i was being surprised left and right and i was devouring it upppp !!

I enjoyed this book a lot!
It kept me engaged the whole time, and I really enjoyed the banter, the side characters, the setting and the SPICE.
I love this little town and the close knit relationship between everyone in it. It’s adorable. I enjoyed being back and seeing how everyone is doing and how the relationships from previous books have grown.
Nova is a bad*ss, tattoo artists, super independent and hard working. When she decides she needs to let go for once and have a little fun with Charlie (Stella’s brother) who has always been a flirt with her, it sets something into motion that they thought they could keep “business casual” but, of course, it turns into something that they have trouble keeping casual 😏
Their banter throughout was so fun, their chemistry was great and the SPICE 🥵 there was definitely more spice than I expected and I loved it. I also thought Charlie was precious, and my heart hurt for him and his struggles with his dad and putting himself first.
I really enjoyed how it ended too. The whole thing played out like a movie that I would love to watch. This was such a sweet story and I’m so glad I got the opportunity to read it early!

This was an absolute DELIGHT!!🥹
Nova & Charlie, I was immersed in their dynamic from the beginning. The back and forth, the tension, the BANTER, the chemistryyy🧎🏻♀️god, I loved them. Charlie's golden retriever personality complemented Nova's feistiness beautifully.
The love, care and desire between them was PERFECT. I loved seeing their vulnerability and how GENTLE they were. They both had inner battles they had to fight through but they always saw through and knew what the other needed.
Charlie is perfect in every way. His flirty banter, him pining for Nova, savoring every crumb he got from her was so hot and made me fall for him even more. I also didn’t expect this to be so incredibly emotional, he really pulled my heartstrings sometimes. I just wanted to hug Charlie and tell him everything will be alright. Nova is unique and I loved her character. She genuinely cares so deeply for the people she loves. I related to her so deeply, her insecurities and struggles felt so real to me. I may have gotten emotional many many times. Nova’s moments with Beckett was so heartwarming, I loved seeing their relationship.
This was such a perfect ending for this series, I still don’t want to believe it’s over. Don’t mind me while I grieve. These characters will always have a special place in my heart. This town and the relationships between them is simply magical and beautiful, I really loved it. I’m sad to say goodbye but also excited to see what bk borison has in the works for us🫶🏼 I have no doubt it will be a new favorite.
I cant recommend this series enough!!! This series will transplrt you to the most comforting world with the best characters. You will laugh, cry, swoon and feel everything with them and have the best time🤍
