Business Casual takes the cake in the Lovelight Farms series. Charlie and Nova had great chemistry, so much tension. The banter and personalities were perfect. I truly hope this is not the last installment of this series.

He is so thoughtful and caring. Their chemistry was hot and intense! This book made me tear up but boy did it have me constantly laughing throughout the whole thing. I got an ARC of Business Casual from NetGalley and am very appreciative! The Lovelight Farms series is one of my favorite. It's bittersweet to know that Nova and Charlie's story is the last, at least for now. I really enjoyed the alternative approach to a love story Borison took in this last installment of the series, and it made perfect sense for these two characters. An added plus of this 4th book is that the town and its characters are all fully developed, which supports the charm and familiarity of the series. Reading this was like stepping into something Gilmore Girls-eque in nature. I don't want to spoil anything so I won't list details, but I will say that if you like this series and Borison's writing, this is a stellar endcap to this 5-star series.

Business Casual by B.K. Borison presents a delightful blend of small-town charm and modern romance in the final installment of the Lovelight series. Protagonists Nova Porter and Charlie Milford, with their contrasting personalities and undeniable chemistry, embark on a journey of self-discovery and love amidst the backdrop of Lovelight Farms and the quirky town of Inglewild. Borison expertly weaves together various romance tropes, from opposites attract to friends to lovers, while infusing the narrative with humor, heart, and a strong sense of community. Through Nova and Charlie's evolving relationship, the novel explores themes of acceptance, resilience, and the transformative power of love. With its endearing characters, witty banter, and heartfelt romance, Business Casual is a charming escape that will leave readers smiling long after the final page.

Sweet and sparkling! Reading this book was like slipping into the most magical family vacation of my dreams.

I enjoyed this read. I did come into the book with high expectations, but, sadly, those weren’t met. I still really loved the romance, which was both parts sweet and cute, but the pacing of the story felt off. The first half was pretty quick, but, once I got to the middle, the story started to drag. Otherwise, I still found the book enjoyable. I can’t say too much more without spoiling the story, so, if you’re looking for a nice, sweet romance, then I would recommend this book.

"Did you miss me, Nova Girl?"

I think I'll need 28-72 business days to get over how special this book is to me. Nova is a character that I feel was plucked out of my very heart and soul- her black cat demeanor, her armor of sarcasm and tattoos. The imposter syndrome she battles, the struggle she faces with letting herself feel. Even down to the migraines that plague her, I saw Nova as if she were a mirror.

And CHARLIE oh my god my standard for book boyfriends has been exponentially raised. Charlie is tender and eager to please (in more ways than one 😇), a mask of humor and levity carrying him through life. It was so relatable; this feeling of wanting to be everything for everyone without leaving enough for yourself. He made me cry, he made me swoon, he made me reflect.

This book is full of hard-hitting questions, growth and vulnerability, and honest, all-consuming love. All of the best parts of a romance book.

The Lovelight Farms universe is so beautiful to me, but this book is, by far, my favorite in the series. The glimpses we got of other characters (omg Luka and Stella 😭), the perfect small-town feel, the freaking SPICE 🥵
All of it was perfect in a way not many books can be, and for that, I am grateful.
Thank you so much to Netgalley, PRH, and the amazing author for an early copy. It will now become my entire personality.

This was my first B.K. Borison book and I am immediately hooked. I loved Charlie and Nova and also loved the way that as their relationship progressed they each showed a lot of character growth.

I love the way that the book is written too. It's very fun and I love the small-town feel. My only complaint is that not having read the previous books, the beginning was a little confusing with so many characters being introduced. But other than that, I have no complaints.

WOWOWOWOWOWOW. BK Boris is always a slam dunk for me. Her writing is so deep and hits me where I need it the most. The small descriptor details that seem irrelevant and never are! I was nervous to meet Charlie and Nova, I can admit that. The other characters from the previous three books, I just ADORED them and didn’t want to let go of their stories. Learn about some new people? Idk seems like a lot of work, but I was drawn to Charlie and Nova. Their banter and flirting, their small traces on each other’s skin, their attraction to each other? It took all of 5 minutes for me to want to know everything about these two. The sense of not belonging that Charlie feels, I feel every day. Making himself small to fit, not being too much so he’s welcome, afraid to ask for what he wants; I saw myself in those characteristics. I always have a huge spot in my heart for Inglewild and I’m so sad to “see it go”. But the stories were done right, with care and with love. This imaginary place that so many people wishes was real. That’s a true talent.

my goodness.. this book.. yeah it takes the cake. business causal is one of my favorite reads of the year, and I know that you’re just started but i don’t care i know not a lot can top this. this was the perfect end to a near perfect series. nova and charlie, my loves. i’ve been anticipating their story for a long time now, and it clearly did not disappoint. the friends with benefits to lovers trope have been well executed! CHARLIEEEE MY BABY, i love him like i loveee him. i related to him soooo much my chest hurt. i had moments in the story wherei full body sobbed.. yeah. nova is everything, after getting glimpses of her for the last three books, i was really happy to finally get her POV and explore her mind, it was really rewarding. but nova and charlie together? magic. simply put. i’m not spoiling this book at all so i’m gonna leave my review here for now, but obviously five stars

My favourite of the Lovelight Farms series! Nova and Charlie had such excellent chemistry. Their insecurities were believable and loved that there wasn’t a dramatic third act break up.

Charlie and Nova were so perfect for each other and I loved seeing them grow in their relationship and personally along side one another, I was kicking and screaming the entire time. They’re precious and I would do anything to protect them.

Loved the way the previous couples were woven into the story. They gave Charlie & Nova their moment and didn’t take over the book.

I was kicking and screaming the entire time. They were so perfect for each other and I loved seeing them grow in their relationship and personally along side one another. They’re precious and I would do anything to protect them. They’re my second favorite behind Evie & Beckett

Also the way the previous couples were woven into the story was really well done. They didn’t take over the book, and still gave Charlie & Nova the attention they deserved while giving us glimpses of our favorites.

Fix two quotes that are missing end quotation marks. Ch 2 "The one you're making." and Ch 28 "I've got you to keep up with, don't I?"

Loved Charlie and Nora! The secrets, the not so secrets. They were just too cute for each other. I love that Charlie brought out more of Nora and that Nora helped Charlie realize how much he is truly loved by all.

I’ve really enjoyed most of this series and had high hopes for Business Casual. I was a little apprehensive about the description (the whole friends with benefits thing is one of my very least favorite tropes), but I’m happy to say this book was just as cute as the others.

I absolutely loved Charlie. He’s always been a fun side character and I was happy to see him take center stage in this one. Like most books, though, when the comic relief gets his own POV, we learn that there are a lot of hidden emotions inside that finally come out. And I did like the extra depth to his character, but I have to say that I was expecting a little more banter and humor than we got. I mean, there are still plenty of humorous moments in this book, but maybe not quite as much as I thought there would be.

Nova was a likeable main character, too, through frustrating at times. I found her desire for independence relatable, but didn’t like how she treated people who tried to help her. I also really didn’t like how she blamed sweet, wonderful, supportive Beckett for her fear of failing.

I liked the romance, even if it started as a one-night-stand negotiation, turned friends with benefits situation. I liked how they grew closer in other ways. As in the previous books, the physical scenes were on the spicier side and they almost seemed out of place with how cute the rest of the story is. I’m sure there will be others that greatly disagree with me, but I think I would’ve liked this even more if it had been more of a closed-door romance.

Charlie and Nova both grow throughout the story and learned to accept the help/love of others, as well as belief in their own self-worth. I did feel like the emotional hang-ups and the emotional epiphanies were repeated just a little too much, though. After a couple of times, it started to get a little old and I felt like the book probably could’ve been a little shorter.

Overall, I enjoyed Business Casual. I really liked being back in the small town with all the characters I’ve come to love throughout the series. I’ll miss the quirky townspeople, the phone tree, and Lovelight Farms. I’ll look forward to whatever this author comes up with next, though.

This author is known for her amazing visual descriptions that drag you right into the story. You can feel the touches. You feel the emotion and energy. You can feel the character’s connections like you were a part of it all.

Business Casual is another wonderful example of that deep connection that builds between two people. It’s more than a love story. It’s a deep dive into finding your soulmate. It’s a sensual romance at the cellular level that makes you wish and pray that your relationships become like that too.

Once again this author has made a mark on me. I love reading romance just like this. It’s more than just sex and passion and that’s what sets it apart. It’s also about family and friends and that support you never knew you needed.

If you have not experienced a Borison book, what are you waiting for? Swoony, sweet, gooey, fun, obnoxious, and forever in your heart!

This series is effortlessly fun and entertaining. It's just about perfect. This last book in the series is an absolute delight. It;s the perfect wrap up to Lovelight. I loved how Charlie and Nova came together and started off a frienemies before becoming something more. I enjoyed how the "drama"/conflict wasn't so over the top as to be unbelievable. Everything just feels right with this book. Preordered a print copy because that's just how much I enjoyed it.

I received an eARC of this book from NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group in exchange for my honest review.

3.5 rounded up. After spending four books in this world, I’ve really been won over by the characters and love stories that B.K. Borison creates. The banter and chemistry between Nova and Charlie was especially successful, even though it isn’t my favorite ship dynamic. I also really appreciated their individual journeys and the genuine vulnerability and growth they both demonstrated. I do think this book gets a little repetitive with some of the conflict and inner monologues, and while the sex scenes were good and spicy, there were a few too many for my taste. Overall the sense of place is the real winner for me and I was delighted to visit with the Inglewild crew one last time.

While this did take me a while to read being a slow visual reader now. Every time I picked it up it gave me somewhere safe to go. This book has my heart in so many ways and I am so grateful I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this. I am so grateful to Inglewild and these characters that made me feel like I had a home and would be accepted and not a burden to a single person there.

Beckett changed his status for me to a book older brother I always wanted (being the eldest myself) someone who believes in met and that it is okay to lean on others. This whole town though comes together as a family, and I will forever love Layla for reminding you, that you "Deserve the whole Cake, not just snacks." If I was physically able to get a tattoo I think I would get that reminder inked on me.

Onto Nova and Charlie they were perfection and learned to communicate and were open they were quickly my favorite couple. From Charlie's ease of letting Nova take the lead when she needed, and Nova hearing Charlie and showing him what he deserved and who he is. When he took care of her during her migraine episode.I loved Nova's possessive over Charlie from the marks permanent to short lived ones of love bites.

Their spice and banter was perfection and this one has quickly become of one of my favorite in the series! Anyone who has been in a long distance relationship whether it ended good or bad can relate. Charlie is the definitely the definition of "If they wanted to if to, they would." Now normally I wouldn't take a book boyfriend if I like them with their partner, but he's too good not to. He is the kind of partner I hope to find one day. No matter the gender. Until then I will take comfort in Lovelight, hope my hopeful romantic part of me comes back, and hope someone sees me one day.

B.K Borison's books will now be my autobuy because she is one of the authors that shows me what I deserve. I know I am not saying goodbye to Lovelight Farms because as she stated in the acknowledgements the gates will always be open.
