Loved this romantic story which is full of angst and is rather steamy as well. This is the 4th book in the Lovelight Farms series, but it can be enjoyed as a standalone as well. Charlie and Nova are an opposites attract couple who are so perfect together. Love the heavy theme of family and found family in this story.

Alexa, find me directions to Inglewild and a permanent residence at Lovelight Farms please.
YOU. GUYS. This book. 🥹 I’m actually finding it hard to articulate how much I loved Business Casual. It was everything. EVERYTHING. I had a soft spot for Charlie’s character when he was introduced in book 1 of the series and my love for him only magnified a thousand-fold after this book. Throughout the series, you know Charlie as the successful business man who’s also a huge goofball and an even bigger flirt. But how B.K. unfolded his story was so beautiful. The way she wrote the inner struggles of both Nova & Charlie; both feeling like they could never measure up, never be good enough for anyone, was more than relatable. The pressure they both put on themselves and felt from others was something I felt deeply. Reading about their relationship, how they felt about one another was so intimate & so raw. And the fact that we get more of each of the Lovelight Crew and the Porter family, especially Beckett, really warmed my heart. The town, the farms, and everyone in it feels so familiar to me, like I’m a part of their adorable little family. This series and this book will hold a special place in my heart for a long time.
Oh, and, find you a partner who cuts your grapes into the shapes of hearts while you’re recovering from a migraine. IYKYK. 🥹
A HUGE thank you to Netgalley, Berkley Romance, and B.K. Borison for this e-arc. Check out Business Casual on it’s pub date 7/16!

Where do I even start?! THIS BOOK 😍🤤🙌🏼 such an amazing wrap up to this series and I have to say I think it’s my favorite one of them all! The banter, the humor, the flirting 👏🏼 I couldn’t put it down and finished it in a day! I loved seeing what happens between Nova and Charlie and the writing was superb! Highly recommend! I wish there was more to come in Inglewild!

Business Casual is perfect if you love opposites attract, small town romance, and the found family trope. This is my first book by this author and I just love how the whole town is in everybody’s business, it’s hilarious yet heartwarming.

I am Nova. She is me. I am grumpy like her and want myself a Charlie. This reverse grumpy sunshine was amazing. Charlie is such a golden retriever always searching to make others happy at the expense of himself. This wasn’t exactly a slow burn and they get together fast so that’s why I am rating a bit lower but it was still very good.
I love how Charlie puts on this jokester act and yet he really is just the sweetest man and so very vulnerable. He thinks he’s so undeserving of anything good and it broke my heart. I love how Nova showed him how important he was. Nova goes through her own struggles as well and I enjoyed seeing her overcome them just as much. This was a very cute story that I definitely recommend.

4.5⭐️
I’m so sad to see this series end it’s definitely a bittersweet moment.
Charlie & Nova’s book was so fun to read I loved Charlie’s sunshine golden retriever vibes with Nova’s grumpy black cat energy.
They start off flirting and bantering and fall into a casual relationship which eventually turns into soemthing more.
The flirting and secret hidden moments were so sweet but I also appreciated all the moments they were vulnerable with each other, especially Charlie.
I found myself relating a lot to his character and the ending was just so damn sweet! (Loved seeing all the characters in this one)
I’m going to miss this cozy warm series so much and will definitely be revisiting whenever I miss them!
Thank you Berkley for the ARC!

The tension! The banter! The swooning! The way Charlie says Nova Girl! All of it… perfection!
I loved this book and these characters and this adorable little Christmas tree farm. All the stars for Charlie and Nova. My expectations were high and Ms Borison sure delivered!
Thank you (times a million) to Berkley and netgalley for allowing me to be an early reader!

In "Business Casual," B.K. Borison crafts a beautiful conclusion to the Lovelight series with the captivating story of Nova Porter and Charlie Milford. Their romance feels so relatable , starting with a spark and growing naturally, balancing just the right amount of angst and sweet moments.
Borison delves into the complexities of self-worth and the struggle to earn one's place, making Charlie and Nova's emotional journeys relatable and heartfelt.
The representation of ADHD in Charlie is sensitively and authentically portrayed, offering readers a glimpse into his world.
The Lovelight Farms series concludes on a high note, with Borison skillfully wrapping up the storyline while leaving room for future exploration.
"Business Casual" stands out as my favourite in the series, delivering a satisfying and emotionally resonant conclusion.

I have been (impatiently) waiting for this book to arrive on NetGalley and it did not disappoint! I read this while traveling and crying on a train over fictional characters was not on my 2024 bingo card, but here we are!
I have loved all of the Lovelight Farms stories and up until now, Beckett and Evie's story was my favorite, but I think Charlie and Nova have taken the title. Even though you know they will end up together, their story of how they got there felt so important. I'm sure I'm not the only one who saw myself in Nova feeling the need to be perfect all the time to not disappoint those important to us, or in Charlie juggling more than any one person should because he thought he needed to earn his place. I loved how much they could lean on each other and trust each other with their vulnerabilities and turn that into the strength to grow as individuals as well as a couple.
There's always a worry that the final book in a series won't live up to the rest of it or will leave too much of a story left to tell, but B.K. Borison did a phenomenal job wrapping up the series while also leaving the door cracked enough to revisit the world if she wants, and I can't wait to read what she writes next!!

Business Casual is the warmest cuddle of a romance that I never wanted to end. I have never been more invested in a couple than this. Nova and Charlie so obviously belong to each other. And for more than the single night spicy night they agree to spend together.
You get a cozy, small town, autumn festival, friends to lovers story with so much warmth and love that it made my heart overflow. Supportive friends, caring family, and invested townspeople made this final installment of the Lovelight Farm series sheer perfection.

5/5 Stars! I absolutely adored every second of this book. As a lover of the rest of the Lovelight series, I felt like this was the perfect conclusion to the most heartwarming, cozy, and romantic interconnected standalone series! Charlie and Nova in particular rapidly became my favorite love story in the series. We follow Charlie, town golden boy with a deeper side, and Nova, the most endearing black-cat girl & tattoo artist, as they fall for each other despite fears of commitment, distance, and a meddling small town. The banter and chemistry between our two leads was some of the best I have read recently. There was a perfect mixture of adorable, comedic moments and times where both our leads opened up to each other and us as a readers. I cannot reiterate it enough, but I truly felt like both Nova and Charlie were so vividly fleshed out to where I felt so connected to both of them. This book really excelled at showing little touch points and quiet moments that make romantic relationships so believable.
Inglewild, the small East-Coast town in which this story takes place, is always such a delight. I find Inglewild to be the ideal small town setting where the townspeople and atmosphere are very lively but never crosses over into corny or unbelievable.
A plot line I particularly enjoyed in this book was Beckett (from In the Weeds) and Nova's sibling relationship. This explored familial love and expectations really beautifully and added a much appreciated additional depth to the story.
Overall, this is a new favorite for me! I definitely see myself recommending it and revisiting it in the future. Thank you Berkley & NetGalley for the arc.

I first read Lovelight Farms last year and immediately became obsessed with the small town charm of Inglewild. As soon as Charlie was introduced I knew that I was going to love his book because I immediately loved his character. A bit goofy and funny but definitely hiding some vulnerabilities.
Business Casual had so many of my favorite tropes - friends to lovers, found family and of course "let's just get this out of our system" because when does that ever work out 🤭. The chemistry between Nova and Charlie was so good. Their tension made for a delicious slow burn. Charlie and Nova were both so patient with one another - not letting them hide behind their feelings and always facing hard things together. I love that for them so much.
I'll be honest - I've been loving books that are on the angsty side lately and (unpopular opinion) I don't mind a third act breakup. BUT BK Borison did a wonderful job with this rom-com that didn't have a third act breakup. There was still some angst, but it was the perfect amount for this book.
Overall, I highly enjoyed Business Casual. Definitely taking second place in the series after Lovelight Farms

BUSINESS CASUAL is perfect. It brings all the Lovelight joy and small town vibes, the romance between Charlie & Nova is impeccable, and the whole novel just feels like a big warm hug.
NO NOTES. Thank you, B.K.!!!

perfect end to a series i LOVED. nova & charlie were an awesome match, and i really loved them together. as always, excellently-developed setting and characters. i liked being on the fourth (final) book in the series and feeling like i knew everyone/the town like the back of my hand. the pacing was done very well; i really enjoyed the wedding being used to jump start things, and the framing for keeping charlie in town. i think overall it was a bit predictable, but honestly… i was looking for that lol.

Nova and Charlie are precious. The story was fun and light and thoughtful at the same time. I really enjoyed it.
Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley for the ARC.

CHARLIE. He has quickly become my fav of the lovelight men.
The romance felt organic - it started with a spark and then grew naturally in a way that felt both easy (yet obviously with some angst).
Both Charlie and Nova had some complicated feelings regarding their self worth and the notion of needing to earn their place. They both go on an emotional journey over the course of a few months, and it feels extremely relatable.
The adhd rep in Charlie was so much like myself- I felt at home reading through his eyes and the representation was done carefully and fair. I too love a color coded spreadsheet to organize my life when my brain doesn’t want to do it by itself.
This was the perfect closure to the lovelight series and now I’m kind of sad about that- I hope to get a peak of these characters again some day!

5 stars!
The Lovelight Farms series is one of my favorite romance series ever. This series is full of so much love, comfort, and pure joy. So it is no surprise that I absolutely loved the last book in the series. Business casual was a DELIGHT to read, I am in love with all of these characters and the found family imbedded in here <3! I wish I could just be teleported into Lovelight and live on the farm with all of these characters, I LOVE THEM!!!
Business Casual was so enjoyable, I was waiting for this book for over a year and it was worth it!! Immediately, I knew that I would absolutely love Charlie and Nova's dynamic, the black cat x golden retriever pairing always gets me! I connected to both Charlie and Nova in different ways, which made this book even more special. These two characters have undeniable chemistry that radiates off the page, I was giddy over all of the interactions and tension they had together!
I love how this story pans out, It was unique with how the friends to benefits to lovers develops and progresses! I truly enjoyed the communication between Charlie and Nova, it helps add on to the characters and allows for growth too! Sometimes you read books and truly know that the couple are soulmates, this was undoubtedly one of those. All of the little things add up to make such a beautiful story that had me emotional near the end.
Both Charlie and Nova are wonderful characters to read about, these two are both battling their inner issues and have these barriers with others. I love how they saw right through each other and were able to be vulnerable with each other on numerous occasions, it added so much depth and reliability. I want to give them both the biggest hug, I just love them!!!
Also, the ending?? The tattoo scene, the love confession, and the final moment between all of the Lovelight gang... I was emotional. These two stole my heart (along with all of the other couples) and I will be rereading this series because it is the ultimate comfort series!!!
Thank you so much, Berkley and Netgalley for the arc in exchange for my honest opinion! <3

Charlie and Nova's romance was everything I wanted it to be. Charlie was the goofy, helpful, loving guy he's shown himself to be, and Nova was the independent, happy in her own skin, close to her family gal I have admired previously in this series. I love how their personalities complimented each other and how they truly saw what other people missed. Their attraction, passion, and care for each made what was supposed to be a fun, casual relationship easily turn into more. The closer Charlie and Nova got and the stronger their emotional connection became, the more I loved them together. This entire romance was one big swoon for me with a tiny bit of drama thrown in. I do feel the need to warn other readers of this series that this is probably the steamiest of all the books.
Of course, this book wouldn't have been as great as it was without Lovelight Farms and the rest of the town being the setting. I loved seeing all of the main characters and side characters who have made this series feel like home present for Charlie and Nova. I could feel the warmth and love of their community. I'm sad this is the last book in the series, but also hopeful I'll see more of this setting and some of its characters in future Borison books.

Thank you Netgalley and Berkley Publishing Group for the ARC.
The lovelight series has been very up and down for me but I do have to say… this ended with a BANG! (a very good kind of bang)
i loved the beginning how it just got straight to the point. For a 4th book in a series o really enjoyed that because we already know about the other characters and we had that tiny build up for charlie and nova so we knew what to expect. So i really enjoyed that aspect in the beginning!
CHARLIE! He is not the typical businessman that you see in books sometimes. He has personality and hopes and fears that are just so damn relatable.
NOVA! Fun and witty and I just loved her dynamic with Charlie. And i really related to her fears of losing independence. As a very independent girl myself I also have that fear so it was nice to see it play out in a relationship.
Their texting was so cute I just had to add that.
This was a great way to end the series. And even though I had my gripes with the past 2 books this one was just so great and I will be reading anything B.K. has to offer<3

This might be B.K. Borison’s best work yet.
Business Casual is a sexy, friends to lovers full of feels and fun. There is nothing more addictive than books with amazing chemistry, an outstanding love story and an incredible cast of characters. I love coming back to this small town and the fact that this will be the last time makes me want to sob.
Thanks Berkley for the arc!
