Charlie really, really wants to be accepted, and Nova is busy with her new business. They shouldn't work on paper, and yet the pair of them was so special. Lovelight is my new favorite town!

I downloaded this before realizing it was part of a series. Regardless, I dove in and really enjoyed the story, town and characters. I did feel likeI was missing something’s obviously since the other books featured the other couples. I am sure had I read the other books I’d have loved this more. I really loved that the little town was so cute with q christmas tree farm, bakery etc. i want to live there myself. Charlie and Nova had great chemistry and this was such a quick and fun read. Charlie was sooo lovable and sweet I couldn’t fathom how Nova had turned him down ever. He seemed to be a no brainer to me. I loved the grumpy /sunshine element and all the cute flirting!

💭 MY THOUGHTS: Even though Business Casual is book #4 in the Lovelight Farms series, this was the first book I’ve read from the series. It probably would have been more fun to read the other books first so I knew the backstory of the other characters but I was still able to pick up on who was who. Even though this had some of my favorite tropes I felt like the first half of the book was so slow and the intro to Charlie and Nova was very surfacey. The second half totally picked up and I got much more interested and invested in the romance. I ended up really rooting for Charlie and Nova.

I’ve been so excited for the last installment in a series that I have absolutely loved. This did not disappoint! Charlie and Nova are swoon worthy. This had the perfect amount of humor, romance, spice, and emotion. I’m sad it’s over!

It's really such a shame that this series ended because I feel like Borison finally found the right balance of heart-warming romance, humor, small town antics and characters with depth.
I've found couple of the other books in the series veering to the hallmark a little bit too much and with really unsatisfying plot devices (please I'm still mad about the last 12% of Lovelight Farms), but with Business Casual, everything felt just right. Being able to believably build a friends' one-night stand into a romance can be really challenging but Nova and Charlie's character arcs were satisfying, had enough tension to keep me reading and didn't bore me like often happens with friends to lovers books for me.
Borison's writing has also come a long way since Lovelight Farms: there was a lovely depth to both Charlie and Nova without tripping over to the melodramatic. Really interested to see what she writes next!

I love every trip I get to take to Inglewild! The story of Nova and Charlie was one that I could not stop reading. These two made my heart flutter as I watched them fall for one another but struggle to see they each deserved to also be loved. I recommend this to anyone who wants a fun romance, especially for the fall. Although I am sad to see the Lovelight series is finished, this was the perfect closing book.

This was so sweet! Loved these two! Soooo opposites attract. He was such a sweet golden retriever and she was a black cat. I haven't read the other books in this series, oops.
I loved their families and need to go back to read how they all got together. This is such a comfy cozy town and small town life is so fun. It's nice when everyone knows everyone. Not when you are trying to have a secret relationship though.
These two were so all in for eachother but it took a second since they had some issues to deal with first . Even with the most supportive family some things pop up. Communication is key!

Thank you @BerkleyPub #Berkley #BerkleyPartner for the free book. These opinions are my own.
Business Casual is the fourth book in the Lovelight Farms series, and I definitely recommend reading these in order. While this could stand alone, parts of it focused so much on the three couples of the earlier books that I can't imagine fully understanding or enjoying without having read them. Indeed, I found I needed to refresh my memory of each to truly dive in.
As the title suggests, Nova and Charlie are just looking for something casual. Neither hopes for a relationship, but both know from the start that they also value their friendship.
I enjoyed the series, but this one just didn't connect for me as much as earlier books. I love the small town setting and missed being a part of the phone tree. I wanted more of the community interactions. The conclusion was great and a good fit for the series while also allowing for more books to potentially be added in future.
I recommend this for folks who love visiting Lovelight Farms and need to know what happens next. It stands alone, but it's best within the series and getting to know all the other couples.
3.5 stars rounded up

Inject this book into my veins. I loved it SO MUCH. A perfect ending to a beautiful series. I love everything about this one, Charlie and Nova have my heart. Thank you BK Borison for making me cry my little eyeballs out at them. So sad to say goodbye to Lovelight Farms, can’t wait to visit them again.

This series is one of those series that just give off all the feels and make you want to live in a small town!
I loved Charlie and Nova’s story, it was raw without being to traumatic and it really seemed like an opposites attraction sort of love story which was fun.
Charlie might be a new book boyfriend, he was just so perfectly written! He is selfless and caring but clearly lonely so I am glad he got his happy ending 🥰
If you haven’t read this series, you really should, I have enjoyed all of the love stories and the side characters in this town.

Nova wants to be independent and prioritize her dreams. Charlie just wants to belong after a childhood with a father who made him feel less than and unworthy. Every character we’ve grown to know makes an appearance and it was the best way to close out the series 🥹. Charlie and Nova have chemistry and top notch banter, but also such tenderly loving moments. This was everything we love about Inglewild. My heart was melting by the first page and the closure is bittersweet.

Business Casual is the final installment of the Lovelight Farns series. Nova Porter, a tattoo artist, is unexpectedly attracted to Charlie Milford, a business-minded investment banker. They agree to a one-night stand to get over their chemistry, but it only brings them closer, with Charlie determined to prove he's worth her time.
I really loved Lovelight Farms and Mixed Signals, but I wasn’t a fan of In the Weeds so I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Business Casual. Overall, I was disappointed. While I love Charlie and Nova as individuals, I didn’t see the chemistry between them. I wish there had been more focus on how they became friends and how they developed their relationship. Most of the book is all smut, which I wasn’t expecting, and it didn’t seem to move their relationship forward. I found myself more interested in the subplots and enjoyed reading about the side characters more. Overall, I liked the series, even though the final book wasn’t my favorite.

An opposites attract, flirtatious yet emotional romance, with an immersive setting, charming family dynamics and small town antics. Enter Charlie and ‘Nova Girl’. Two characters I absolutely adored reading. Our sunshine good-natured hero in finance, and our driven sarcastic tattoo artist heroine.
Flirting is the language of love in this romance. The flirty texts, the sarcastic humor, the communication, and the vulnerability felt on the page. Many of my favorite intimate moments took place within Nova’s tattoo studio; moments that continue to live rent free in my mind.
If you’re looking for a cozy reading experience, spice, flirtation and vulnerability, with a dose of meddling tight knit family antics, look no further than Business Casual. The ultimate comfort romantic read. Absolutely recommend.
Thank you Berkley and NetGalley for my gifted ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I love, love, loved this book. Charlie was one of the characters that stood out to me in Lovelight Farms, and I'm so excited we finally got more of his story. Pretty much the only thing that I didn't enjoy about this one was all the "Nova girl", but I do know that's something a lot of people will be very into. I have not read the two middle books in the series yet, so I've missed some time in the overall Lovelight Farms universe, but nothing stood out to me as anything I was missing background information on. This worked really well as both a standalone and as a conclusion to this series. For me, it was the perfect blend of what I want out of a cozy read, and I appreciated that the main 'conflict' didn't rely on the characters being unnaturally oblivious, and instead tied into very genuine insecurities and anxieties that they both had. I liked the pacing as well, it didn't feel like it was dragging anything out just to keep the story going. Definitely a book (and series) I will be recommending to people who want a solid comfort read.

Thanks netgalley and Berkeley for the chance to read this book for free in return for my honest opinion.
I’ve read all four books and I thought I would love this one the most but I think mixed signals has been my favorite so far.
Nova and Charlie are super cute though, especially Charlie. He’s a total golden retriever.
This book pretty much follows up on everyone from the first few books and how they ended up with each other. I do recommend reading this whole series.

“Being here makes me feel like . . . like the edges of myself that are too sharp everywhere else can be sanded down into something tolerable. Like I don’t have to put on a show. All the things that hold me in place in New York don’t feel as tight around my neck when I’m here.” Ahhh to belong.
Lovelight Farms has my heart and is like the most ideal and magical place on earth. There you can have a warm chocolate chip cookie, cut a Christmas Tree, and meet the man of your dreams who will sweep you off of your feet and give you mind blowing sex! You can get a sweet tattoo, too, if that’s your thing.
Read this series if you love boy-chases-girl, small town romances, hot steamy sex, delicious baked goods, family, and love. Five stars is a great way to conclude the Lovelight series.

Thank you to Netgalley, Berkley Publishing, and the author for the complimentary copy.

This is the last book in the Lovelight series but the first of B.K. Borison’s novels I’ve read. That could’ve been disastrous but I was hooked by Nova and Charlie and loved this author’s style of writing. This opposites attract novel was surprisingly great and right up my alley.
Nova was such an interesting character. A grumpy tattoo’d empress of ink, her outside was such a dichotomy to her gooey center. She was driven, but her family was her heart, especially her brother Beckett. Charlie, too, was a contradiction in a suit. He looked like a straight laced gentleman but inside he was kind of an insecure wreck. An overbearing father, a time consuming job in New York, and his attraction to Nova were all competing for his time. Their story was filled with heat, definitely, but even more important they understood each other and were there for each other 100%. I loved how they supported each other with not only words, but actions. Their journey started off with a question mark but ended with an exclamation point.
After reading this novel I wanted to go back and read this series from the beginning. I’m not a B.K. Borison convert and looking forward to exploring all of her other books.

A great and cozy conclusion to the Lovelight series! This book feels like a warm hug and spending time reminiscing with an old friend. The romance was lovely, but I especially enjoyed seeing more of the town and characters from past books
I’ll devour any book touting fall vibes. Throw in a harvest festival? Count me in! Is there room for one more on that phone tree?
Obsessed with Nova and Charlie.

Business Casual is sadly the last book in the Lovelight Farms series and I’ve just loved this entire series so so much! This is a grumpy x sunshine, opposites attract, friends with benefits to lovers romance and it was everything I could ever want and more!
Nova has always been independent and happy on her own. She’s been focused solely on trying to open her tattoo shop, Ink & Wild, in Inglewood. The story opens with her at Luka and Stella’s wedding (the couple from Lovelight Farms). Nova’s sister has been telling her to let loose and have fun, which comes at the perfect time when Charlie invites her out on the dance floor at the wedding! Charlie is Stella’s investment banker brother from New York who has tried flirting with Nova a few times in the past. She hasn’t been interested before but throws him for a loop when she starts flirting back and invites him back to her house for the night! She also finds out he’ll be in town for a while taking care of the farm while Stella and Luka are away on their honeymoon….
Charlie and Nova were so perfect together! She’s got the harder exterior while he’s the sweetest and breaks down her walls. This whole series has been so comforting and perfect and I couldn’t get enough of these 2 together! Seriously so perfect for each other. So many moments I loved: “Nova girl”, the caretaking when she gets migraines, Charlie being the sweetest hero, Nova’s relationship with her brother, the small town vibes, the friend group, the meaning with the tattoos, him wanting to be on the town’s phone tree, the epilogue!!!, him wanting to be a part of anything and finally getting to. 🥹 This book was so cute and sweet and honestly no faults, butttt books 2 and 3 are still my top tier in the series that I connected with the couples more. All in all, a perfectly delightful series!
I received an ARC from the publisher, all thoughts in this review are my own.
