This is a wonderful Atlas that we've added to our homeschool library. It has so many great features that are easy to understand for young learners. It would be a great addition to any children's library

This atlas is beautifully illustrated and will be looked at and loved for years to come! I especially loved the country-specific pages and how they highlighted aspects of culture, geography, and language. These are great resources not only for learning but also for praying country by country! This isn't as suited for sitting and reading together like the devotionals in this series, but it is perfect for what it is meant to be! Highly recommend!

We received a complimentary electronic copy of this book from NetGalley, but this is one you will want a physical copy of! Digital just doesn't do it justice, in our opinion.

I love this devotional! We have enjoyed the previous ones that Louie Giglio has done and are thrilled to have this one be a part of our homeschooling journey this coming year.

In true Louie Giglio “Indescribable” fashion, this atlas is loaded with facts about the world that draws kids and adults alike into discovering more about God’s amazing creation and His creativity! The illustrations are beautiful, colorful and attractive, and it’s full of fact boxes and trivia about languages, animals, foods and more.

Though this book is geared toward 5-10 year olds, early readers would definitely need help with this one.

Highly recommend this for map-loving kiddos and/or parents who want to spark an interest in other cultures in their children.

The latest release in the “Indescribable Kids” series, this resource is HUGE! I love that it includes biblical insights, prayers, bible verses, etc, throughout to point back to the God who created it.

This is NOT a "read in one-sitting" type book but rather one that your children will come back to time and time again. And while there are other children’s atlas books, this one is unique in including beautiful reminders of our Creator: with bible verses or references on every page and historical figures that shared God’s word.

This is a fabulous homeschool resource but would be beneficial for any child who wants to learn more about the world God made.

Thank you Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. These opinion are completely my own.

I enjoyed the biblical integration found in this book. Although I'm not a religious my friend is working on intergatin God in her grade 6 subjects so I'm familiar with the concept. The book is fun and interesting. .

This is a big, beautiful and colorful book, full of illustrations and interesting facts about many countries in the world. I like that Christian elements are included, such as prominent believers who served God in various ways, and also occasionally little spiritual lessons arising from some of the information about a place or culture or animals.

Definitely a book I want to keep to sit and go through with my grandchildren when I finally get them!

I hope the publishers keep on producing books like this, as they are a great alternative to secular ones that might have different worldviews or values.

5 stars. Love it!

The wonders of the world are captured in this gorgeous, entertaining, and encouraging atlas for kids. Who knew an atlas could be all those things? Louie Giglio provides over 1,500 interesting facts about the world such as Algeria is three times the size of Texas, 450 languages are spoken in South America, and every country in North America has beaches! The illustrations are captivating, and Little Ones are sure to marvel at all this world has to offer. What a celebration of life, creation, nature, and human connections!

We would love to travel the world and explore all the amazing countries and their cultures. Since we are stuck home this is the next best thing and I love it. So well thought out. Packed with facts about the continents and what countries have to share. The author includes everything from terrain, wildlife and more. The book goes on to include the wonders of God’s creations. The author includes Bible verse and devotional thoughts sharing how wonderful God and His world are. It is a book that every family needs to share. A creative way to explore the world and celebrate God's gift to us. I can’t wait to share this with family and friends. Your family will love this adventure together.

{Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for my gifted e-copy of this title in exchange for an honest review.}

I absolutely loved this book and will be sure to purchase a hard copy for my kids. Louie takes you on a journey to multiple different countries, showing key facts, phrases, animals, notable people, and maps from each featured country. The illustrations in this book are so cute, and I loved the way faith was woven in naturally.

Highly recommend!

I will preface this review by stating that I don’t think I received a complete version of the book, as there were some countries/continents that appeared in the index without any pages pertaining those places in the book itself. However, I do feel that I got a solid grasp of the content of the book based on the 26 countries and four continents that I did review.

Pros:
The illustrations were super fun and eye-catching. My kids, I’m sure, would enjoy the book and find the myriad of facts on each interactive map page to be both entertaining and educational.
I really liked the features on specific ecosystems (the Sahara Desert in Africa and the Amazon Rainforest in South America were the two featured in the version I received).
I liked the inclusion of prominent evangelicals and people of faith who contributed not just to the Christian community, but in many cases to the national and global community. I love teaching my kids about how God uses his people to accomplish incredible feats.

Cons:
As far as an atlas goes, I found this one to be lacking for a book that retails at almost $30. I would be more likely to buy something that gives my kids a more detailed picture of the geography, botany, zoology, climate, culture, history, detailed maps including topography and major cities, etc. There’s honestly so much that seemed to be missing from these pages which you can find in almost any other children’s atlas. It felt like they crammed so much text and illustration onto each page that they didn’t really do either element justice.
The inclusion of Bible verses felt really forced. They didn’t connect in any way to the content on the page in most cases, and they added nothing to the study of the country or continent.

Overall impression:
While I didn’t really find inaccuracies in the book, and I did really enjoy the illustrations, I wasn’t super impressed with the content (which unfortunately actually took away from the illustrations since they were crammed together in the same space).
If someone gave this book to us, I’d certainly be happy to let my kids flip through it and use it for entertainment purposes, but I would not consider it a sufficient educational resource, which I find really unfortunate for a book marketed as an atlas.

A beginner's introduction to geography and trivia about the countries, wildlife, and buildings on each continent as viewed through a Christian lens, including some Biblical stories.
The illustrations by Nicola Anderson and Lynsey Wilson are fun, simple, colorful, and delightful.
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone.
I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from Thomas Nelson: CHILDREN'S, Thomas Nelson via NetGalley. Thank you!

Wow. What a cool book. We have been reading Louie’s devotional for years and this is beyond what I could have imagined. Seeing God around the world and learning so much was just perfect. My son loves maps and so this one really engaged him. This will be one we add to our physical shelf to read over and over!

Full of beautifully illustrated maps, Indescribable Atlas Adventures takes readers on a journey around the world. Readers will learn about various countries and their languages, history, foods, religions, geography, animals, among other things. Also featured are Biblical stories related to various topics covered and tips on how to discover God's creation. This book would be a great addition to a home library and would be informational to the whole family.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson: Children's publishing for an advanced read copy of this book!

Indescribable Atlas Adventures is a one-of-kind educational books tucked with bits of biblical truth from Louie Giglio. Our family has read through Louie Giglio's other children's devotional books and my 3rd grade son loved exploring this atlas with me.

Each page contains a continent or country and is jam packed with fun facts that include: capitals, important landmarks, native animals, famous people to the nation, flags, languages, and other fun facts! On each page you will also find biblical truths aligning with scripture pertaining to one or some of the facts. Louie Giglio once again does a great job of conveying just how much God has woven Himself and his Truth into both the big and little details of the world and His creation.

Our family is looking forward to purchasing a hard copy of this very unique atlas!

A brief look at the parts of the world. Colorful pictures and lots of text about everything from landmarks to native animals.

This would be best for young children who have an adult guide who can help them focus or guide them to additional texts.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. I will purchase for my library.

What a fun look at the world learning different facts about different countries and continents. Got to learn about different people from some of the countries who have followed Jesus and been a part of His kingdom work over the years. My kids have enjoyed it.

Indescribable Atlas Adventure is another winner from Louie Giglio. We own all of the other Indescribable books and love and use them regularly., and this one continues to captivate our family, and open us up to very powerful conversations with our kids, that they wouldn’t be interested in having without this book.
