Many of us do not wish to think about our demise, but we would like to leave behind something that will help our loved ones thoughts into how we feel abour our funeral, death, etc. This book is a great book for that purpose. The book makes this very easy to digest and has wonderful advice also. Yes, the book can be funny at times but, it is also very thought inspiring. Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for this review. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on my thoughts.
So, I did know this was a humor book. Of course it is. What kind of loon would pre-plan their own funeral, let alone make it a momentous, funny occasion?
Clearly that person would have to be a nutjob..
And they certainly wouldn't use the book, and website, to add to their own mental list of things to add.
And they certainly wouldn't think that having this book, along with a nice notebook full of said plans, on a shelf for their loved ones as a resource after their demise from petting something they weren't supposed to and should have known better.
Nope. Just a funny book. Funny, funny. Mm-hmm.
Let's get this party started! Put the fun back in funeral by making your own choices! What's your style? What kind of music do you like? This book will help you go through all those kinds of things you'll have to pick so you send yourself off in the way you deserve.
Take apart the word funeral and put it back together as "real fun." Enlist your friends and family and their kids so people will know what to do when it comes to enacting your plans.
Not only will it give your loved ones a sense of closure, it will keep them from having to make those decisions themselves.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this hilarious but practical little book
