This is a page turner and a fast-paced read! Jaysen’s writing is compelling. Alisha, our protagonist, is married to Dylan, who she is accused of murdering. We first meet Alisha in jail, and the story unfolds. This is part one of three in the Collateral Damage series, and I can’t wait to read the next book! Recommended.

Unlike anything else I’ve read, Eryn Jayson’s debut novel, A Killer’s Tears is both sexy and suspenseful!

This novel explores the dark side of the webcam industry in a day and age where fans only sites turn fantasy into reality. But in this fictional story, that reality turns dangerous when one of Alisha’s viewers isn’t willing to let Alisha stop her webcam business. Alisha’s onscreen (and frequently off screen) seduction turns a subscribers desires to obsession. What was once a fun, delightful, and fulfilling job for Alisha quickly becomes deadly. And her world comes crumbling down when her husband is found stabbed to death in their home with Alisha holding the knife.

This was a quick, thrilling read! Thank you to NetGalley, Eryn Jayson, and the publishers for allowing me to read this ahead of its release date. Spicy and suspense fans alike should check this out!

OH MY GOSH! This book sucked me right in, I finished it in one sitting, took me about 1.5 hours. Definitely a quick read, but so wonderfully written and definitely a twist at the end that you don't see coming! I like how they switch between Alisha and Dylan's point of views, I always think it is interesting when the point of view of the deceased is brought into the story. Overall, I do not want to say more because I don't want to give too much away, but 10/10 recommend! I am looking forward to the sequels, it will be hard to wait for them to be released!

A Killer’s Tears is unlike anything I have ever read. A mix of coming of age, dark romance, gripping thriller, and courtroom drama, the author flawlessly shifts her storytelling and perspectives with precision. Alisha is abrasive, unapologetic and by all accounts, unlikeable. But readers will find themselves firmly in her corner. Jaysen’s writing style is addicting, making this cast of deeply flawed characters, feel human and strangely sympathetic. And that courtroom bombshell? I’m still reeling.

A Killer’s Tears brings the heat. Sizzling, make you blush, heat. And I loved every moment! 5 big stars for this thrilling read!

This book was definitely a bit different! The storyline was interesting but kind of backwards?! Or odd?! But it was a good read! It had suspense, intrigue, action, sex addict, abuse, mystery, murder, a great who done it and some crazy twists and turns! The storyline was interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! I would recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! It wasn't one of my top favorites but still worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

When I saw this psychological thriller listed on Netgalley I couldn’t request it fast enough!

I immediately became fascinated by Alisha’s character, daily life, and story of how she wound up behind bars. I also really loved how this book had multiple narrators and was based around generally unlikable characters. Some of my favorite thrillers are filled with characters you absolutely love to hate and vice versa- this one being no exception 😈

I don’t want to give anything away about the plot, but I will say every thriller lover NEEDS to check out Eryn’s newest series.

The writing, overarching storyline, and unpredictable twists are phenomenal and keep you completely engaged from cover to cover. I can’t wait for book two of this series!!

I thought Eryn did such a great job at writing this and painting a picture. The book had some twists and turns, it was also SPICY. I love me a good thriller and a good spicy book, adding both in one? A-ma-zing! Alisha was such a wild character, even with all of her flaws you couldn't help but love and feel bad for her. I loved how she was just herself and didn't give a damn. I'm glad Dylan's POV was put in. It helped round out the story!

She has resigned herself to her prison cell and all of the indignities that come with it. But in a shocking turn of events, a familiar face from her past re-enters her life and turns everything upside down.

I flew through this book in one sitting. Alisha was initially a tough character to connect with because she tells you point blank: 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐦𝐞. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯e 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐦𝐞. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐢𝐧-𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧, 𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨. She definitely has all the traits of an unreliable narrator, and she spares no details telling her story...nothing is softened or blurred; you get all of the hard, nasty edges. There are no extraneous scenes and not a single extra word. This graphic story was absolutely riveting, and I'm hoping the author will reprise this character for more in a sequel!

Oh my gosh, where did this author come from? I love how she doesn't hold back when she writes. And she writes 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒍𝒍𝒍𝒍. I broke my audiobook streak to read this in eBook form. I don't do that often, you guys!

This book was fantastic! So fast-paced, so addicting, so unique. I have never read about a sex addict and I must say, it's my new favorite subject in a book. I loved the bad language, the sex scenes, the mystery! Alisha is a character you might struggle to like, but I loved her completely. She was hilarious, honest, fearless, and spunky. This can easily be binged in a night. Eryn is not afraid to 𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 with her writing, and I appreciate that so much!

The secrets and mystery created a nice little twist that many will appreciate. Did I want a different ending for someone? Maybe. But you'll understand when you read it. And I have a feeling the next book will be the justice and ending I am hoping for. I can't get enough of these characters!

I devoured this spicy thriller in a matter of hours! My fingers could not turn the pages fast enough. Jaysen’s writing is just beautiful! While I was reading the words, the scene was just so vivid in my mind it was like watching a movie.

This absolute riveting and provocative read is amazing! The reveal at the end will leave your head spinning. So if you don’t mind SPICE in your thriller, you need to jump on this book!

I cannot wait to see how the sequel plays out.
