Cat-tastic coloring adventure! 🐾 Although I didn't get my paws on the actual pages, the digital preview of "1001 Cats" by HR Wallace Publishing left me feline fantastic. It's a whisker away from being purrfect, but I've seen other cat-themed coloring books that scratched my coloring itch a bit more. The cat Mandala pages were clawsome, adding an extra layer of creativity to the litter. Even without sinking my claws into the actual pages, I'd give it a solid 4 stars. It's a purr-etty delightful addition to any cat lover's coloring collection! 😺🎨 #1001Cats #HRWallacePublishing #ColoringBook #CatLoversDream #PurrfectPages #CatMandala #ColoringAdventure #FelineFantastic #PawsitivelyCreative #CatPunsGalore #FourStars
Colouring and cats are two things that are very comforting and brings absolute joy so I loved to see the combination of my favourite things.
Why does someone want to only see a coloring book- not buy and painting?
Do you need a better reason than 1001 cats in it?!
There are many cats here and there, in the park, in a balloon, in an alley and everywhere.
Lovey...
I didn't count them of course, we expect 1001 of them, but still, I liked to see them more complex, individual and diverse.
This book is purrrrrfect. Wait. Sorry. This book is paws-itively adorable. I can’t help myself. Either way if you are looking for a book full of cats doing things like sitting in cups or playing tennis or having meetings this one is for you.
This could be for kids or adults, as the pages are detailed but not too complicated. And what wonderful pages! So many cats on every page! And at the end, I learned that there are other coloring books by the same people with more cats.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me preview this fantastic coloring book

All the stars. Cute creative, for any age. All styles of pages for any mood or day.
Thank you to NetGalley and the artist for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I can confirm that there are A LOT of cats in this book! The illustrations are fun and there's a nice mix of scenery and patterns. I did find the cats to be a little simply drawn. They're not realistic or overly stylized but somewhere in between, which felt a bit uncanny valley to me. In some pictures the perspective was a bit off too.
I'd say this colouring book is perfect for younger audiences, but would also make a great gift for anyone with a cat obsession. Though the drawing style wasn't really for me, I do think there's a nice range of drawings which could provide the right person with hours of fun. I particularly liked that the pages were blank on one side (not relevant in the ebook version, but a nice touch for the print copy) so they could be coloured in with pens without worrying about the picture on the back.
Ever wanted coloring book with bunch of cats ?you in luck as this coloring book exactly that.
I personally really liked that's pictures are bigger in size not so narrow makes it easier to color.
Pictures are mix between mandala style and reg pictures which could work wonderfully as change of pace.
Excellent choice for gifts for yourself or cat lover in your life.
Thanks Net galley for digital/advanced copy .
It's a fun coloring book. I love coloring when I'm listening to an audiobook or podcast. The art is fun but not too realistic. So if you like it this is something for you!
Are there really 1001 cats? I don’t know, I didn’t count, but maybe I should!
This is a lovely cat-filled coloring book, and I feel like it is suitable for literally any age. The cat shapes are easy if you are a kid, and the cat shapes can be modified and colored creatively if you are an adult.
Also, did the book mention cats? CATS. There are SO MANY CATS. And yes, that’s a good thing.
The publisher claims there 1001 cats in this book, I dare you to count!
I was really excited to dig into this colouring book but as I started reading I wasn’t sure how this book could be marketed to adults. It’s more for children or teens as the cats are simply drawn. The mandelas might be harder to colour for the little ones.
In any case the cats are very cute. My cat even gave a small meow when she saw the book. If you are looking for simpler things to colour, this is perfect for you.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ebook copy of thr colouring book for an honest review.
Really great mix of mandala-like patterned pictures and regular portrait-style art. Some really cute and original/creative scenes (parachuting, poker tables, portrait gallery). I would definitely consider getting this to do as I watched tv or listened to an audiobook at night.
It it what it says it is. Lots and lots of cats, patiently waiting to be coloured in. There is a nice mix of cats in pictures of places (for example, sat round a dinner table or climbing trees in the woods) as well as more typical doodle patterns (obviously still incorporating many cats). It also appears that the images are each printed on their own piece of paper, rather than being back to back, which makes a big difference in terms of colour bleeding or pencil marks showing through the page.
1,001 Cats: A Creative Cat Coloring Book is a whimsical and appealing coloring book for all ages. Released in 2016 by H.R. Wallace, it's 85 pages and is available in paperback format.
These are simple line drawn coloring pages, intricately detailed with cats on each page. Each drawing is on one page with the facing page blank, so they're appropriate for most media (markers, pens, dry-ish watercolor, pastels, pencils, crayons, etc). Many of the pages are mandalas with cats in various poses and small symmetrical designs radiating out from a central point.
The art is not credited, and presumably done in house. The publisher produces coloring books in a number of themes and styles.
Four stars. Lots of fun pages to keep readers busy for many hours. It would be a good choice for gift giving bundled with a fresh set of pencils or pens.
Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.
So. I do not have a cat, BUT…I love coloring books with a purple passion. This one contains some really cute drawings to color. It is sure to be a hit with cat lovers and coloring book enthusiasts alike. My only complaint is that a few of the drawings felt a little plain—I feel like more detail could have been drawn in. That’s a minor complaint, however, and overall, this is a book I’d recommend if you’re into coloring.

1,001 Cats
A Creative Cat Coloring Book
von H.R. Wallace Publishing
This needs no big explanations. A colouring book with cats, cats, cats… apparently 1001 but nope, I did not count. 😂
I could not say with certainty, is this marketed towards adults or children? For young children , it might be too intricate, for adults a bit too simple, so I am a bit on the fence on that.
But, it looks like fun and I guess that’s all you can ask from this. I like the mandalas the most out of them. But the drawings seemed very random, in no particular order.
This reminds me somehow on the technique to draw a cat on a blank piece of paper when you feel annoyed 😂
What I liked was that each picture had its own page, so no danger of markers bleeding through into another picture, believe me, I’ve seen books like that. I hope the paper quality will be good!
Thanks to H.R. Wallace Publishing and NetGalley for my free digital copy. I was under no obligation to review. All opinions are my own.
Great coloring book for cat lovers, but I was hoping the designs would be more detailed for the adult who loves to color. Either way, nice designs and sure to provide children and adults an outlet for creating some lovely works of art.
As a devoted cat lover, stumbling upon a coloring book entirely dedicated to our feline friends was a delightful find. It promised to be a unique experience and it delivered as there's a diverse array of cat-centric design and each page offers a charming and varied canvas for creativity.
