Who says that children's books are just for kids!
In this story Brian loves dinosaurs and when you love something so much you learn about them. This is when Brian discovers that frogs were around when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Brian decided to become a dinosaur himself and transforms into Brianosaurus.
This story focuses on discovering what you love and being true to yourself.
The art was well done and captivating!!
I read this book with my daughter and we both really enjoyed it
I liked the illustrations, they were very cute and in keeping with the story - she is a massive fan of dinosaurs s I guessed this one would be a hit with her, and I was correct!
We liked the mix of characters and how the book was written, she was 6 when we read it and it was perfect for her, she can read independently and enjoys a book she can read without help too
I liked the messages that Brian doesn't need to change and that he ends up happy as he is at the end, a great concept and delivered well.
It is 4.5 stars from me for this one, rounded up to 5 stars for Goodreads and Amazon - very highly recommended!
An intriguing and cute story about a frog who decides to be a dinosaur. He learns, eventually, that he is perfect just the way that he is and does not need to change.
Brian wants to be a dinosaur so he invents Brianosaurus. But in doing so he finds out that he can’t do the other thinks he likes to do as a boy. This is a book about loving who you are and being okay with that. Great for story time or bedtime. Illustrations are very cute and will delight children.
This book was so fun and kept my children’s attention spectacularly! I definitely recommend picking this up and either keeping it or donating it to your library for others to enjoy because it was so cute!!
Read this with my Five year old, who since a baby has been nicknamed Graciesaurus, because she loves Dinosaurs. So this book was just the perfect story for her. Aside from that it was a really lovely story about being who you want to be and allowing others to be who they want to be. It has lovely, colourful illustrations and the moral of the story is clear and the conclusion of the story is fun. My five year old enjoyed it and I enjoyed reading it to her. She gave it four stars and when I asked her does she think her friends would like this her answer was a firm yes!
In the most beautiful and subtle way possible brianosaurus tells us to make your own path following your own heart.
Brian is a frog who comes to know that frogs existed in the times of dinosaur. The revelation intrigues him and he decides to be a dinosaur. It is very easy to do what everyone is doing, but when you do something you are not supposed to do or something that is different from others, you are frowned upon.
Brianosaurus teaches us otherwise.
Thank you Netgalley and publishers for the wonderful ARC in exchange of an honest review.
A frog who marches to the beat of his own drum. This is a true story of being an individual! The orher frogs along with the other animals think as a frog he should do this and he should do this. Without any regard to what he likes or wants. He learns that frogs were in fact around when dinosaurs were and so he decides he is one as well! This book lets younger readers know that is ok to not follow “trends” and find yourself and be happy with who you are because you are unique. I loved the art it was very whimsical !
This was a very cute book. I could see a lot of people really enjoying this. The cover and title is what drew me in, but the story is what kept me reading!
What a beautiful book filled with creative ideas and images. This book features such a unique color palette that truly brings this story and its characters to life! A children’s book about being yourself is one I highly recommend!
Brianosaurus is a very cute book with great pictures and a good lesson for kids.
I enjoyed reading it and can’t wait for my grandkids to enjoy it
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this book for free in exchange for my review! All opinions are my own.
This was a very charming and entertaining story that also teaches children important life lessons that they should be learning at an early age. I also really enjoyed the illustrations. They were eye catching. I can see this book being popular with children. I recommend this one for families to read together.

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for the eARC! The cover is too cute- simple yet inviting. A cute story about a frog who learns that frogs were around while Dinosaurs roamed the Earth so he simply believes that he is a dinosaur. The story also stresses the importance of being yourself.
Brianosaurus by Ged Adamson is a great story about being yourself and not letting others put you in a box. The story is very simple and great for children. The illustrations are also cute and funny. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to show their child that being different should be celebrated.

Such a cute cover!! I love the soft colors and cuteness of the illustrations inside too.
This little book has lots of animals and a great message.
Brian loves reading and dinosaurs so when he reads about frogs already being around when dinosaurs were and he tells his friends, one of them says that that kind of means Brian is a dinosaur. This leads to Brian dressing up as a dinosaur and becoming Brianosaurus.
But soon all the other animals have opinions about it.. And about how he should act. This is so frustrating for Brian and when he decides to ignore them, it even leads to the animals fighting about how/what he should be until Brian shouts: “No, I’m me!!!!”. What follows after that was a little too sweet for my liking but the ending was great! And I loved the message of just being yourself :).
I was initially drawn to pick up this one because dinosaurs? Frogs? Who can resist?
This is an adorable book for children on being you (and not stomping on someone’s star/who they are.
THIS BOOK IS ADORABLE! Some of the cutest illustrations I've seen all year and the story has a lovely little lesson about being yourself. I will be looking for more books by this author :)
Thank you so much netgalley!
Loved the meaning of it that people should let you be yourself, my son really enjoyed the illustrations and drawings, very fun book!
This is a fun book about being yourself, it centres on a frog who decides to be a dinosaur but soon realises that everyone has a different idea of what he should be doing, this felt like I was watching a short movie with the art style and I loved it, I highly recommend it, especially for children who feel as though they don't fit in with others
I was sent this e-Arc on Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.
I think this was a great book to teach kids they can be themselves even if others dont agree at first, which is also a good lesson for adults.
