This book was adorable. In our house, we love books about frogs and dinosaurs - with this combination, the boys loved it. It was readable and will be repeated and easy enough for the 6-year-old to read it to his brothers.

Brianosaurus just wants to be himself but other keep telling him he can’t do things because that’s not was dinosaurs do. Brianosaurus is who is he is and stands up for himself. His friends accept him and all is well. This is a perfect story to teach children to accept people. It also teaches children they are not restricted by anything and they can be themselves. I loved the illustrations!

The storyline follows Brian, a dinosaur who is a bit different from his peers. Instead of roaring like a typical dinosaur, Brian has a unique talent for playing the ukulele. This unexpected skill sets him on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance, teaching young readers valuable lessons about embracing individuality and following one's passions. Adamson's charming illustrations bring Brian to life, capturing the essence of his quirky personality and the comical situations he finds himself in. The vibrant and expressive artwork adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the narrative, making it a visual treat for readers of all ages. What sets Brianosaurus apart is its ability to entertain while conveying important messages about self-expression and acceptance. The book encourages young readers to celebrate their differences and appreciate the diverse talents that make each individual special.

Overall, Ged Adamson's Brianosaurus is a captivating and heartwarming tale that is sure to become a favorite in any child's bookshelf. It's a must-read for anyone who enjoys a good laugh and a meaningful story about friendship, acceptance, and the power of being true to oneself.

Good book for kids to understand it’s okay to be yourself! If you try to make everyone happy or please everyone you will end up disappointing yourself most of all. Good message!

This was such a cute story with an important message! Everyone has different interests and enjoyments, and that’s okay! As a speech therapist who works in an elementary school, I would love to read this to my stories to discuss the importance of accepting others and their individuality.

Brianosaurus is a delightful story about a frog who learns his ancestors were around at the time of dinosaurs. As Brian explores his new dinosaur identity, he starts to struggle to be who his friends and family expect him to be.

This is a bright, cheery story about discovering the magic of being yourself. The prose is simple, and easy to follow, and is brought to life by the vibrant and energetic illustrations.

A fun read for children to share with their grownups, and a great introduction to discussions and celebrations about what makes them unique!

Thank you Two Lions and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed are my own.

When Brian the frog discovers that frogs co-existed with dinosaurs, he gets an inspiration: He must be some type of dinosaur himself! He throws on a dinosaur costume and begins roaring away. Other forest animals were thrilled, but back at the pond, his fellow frogs were nothing but negative.

But even his forest friends wanted to police what dinosaurs do and don’t do. What’s an aspiring dinosaur to do? Brian’s resolution will put a smile on any reader’s face, young or old. Roar!

In the interest of full disclosure, I received this book from NetGalley and Two Lions in exchange for an honest review.

A frog as a dinosaur is a funny set up for a children's book. Brian isn't being a proper frog or a proper dinosaur according to all of his friends. He has to figure out how to just be himself. The story has a good message about finding your place and the illustrations are eye catching.

I had some issues with opening the pdf file so I tried to open it inside my Kindle. The illustrations were not formatted correctly for a Kindle. I had to get creative to read it on my Kindle.

That being said, this book was super cute. I loved the message about staying true to who one is. I think that children will love the illustrations and feel like they are playing alongside Brian and other characters. This book will be great for building imagination and confidence skills.

This was a really cute book. I loved the message which encourages you to just be you. Instead of what everyone else wants you to be. The pictures were cute. I enjoyed this book.

I loved this story! Brian loves dinosaurs and decided to be one, and his forest friends and fellow frogs made him feel bad about it for one reason or another. Eventually he shows them that he’s unique and special and they are able to finally appreciate him for who he is. I think a lot of children will be able to relate to how Brian felt and the need to be themselves. I also liked the illustrations.

A fantastic book for young readers! The illustrations are vibrant and very appealing while the story is easy to follow and relatable.

The message of this delightful book is very well conveyed to young children. It shows it's okay to be yourself and not worrying about what others think of your individuality. This is done in a very positive and uplifting way.

I read this book to a three year old and a five year old. They enjoyed it very much. The three year old was pulled in by the bright, fun illustrations and loved it when Brian roared. While the five year old felt sad for Brian when the other frogs complained that he was just a frog and not a dinosaur but she was very happy at the end quickly asking if we could read it again. We discussed why it was okay for Brian to be a dinosaur even though others were against him.

I highly recommend this delightful children's book especially for children ages three to seven but could be enjoyed by older children also.

I am grateful to Two Lions and Netgalley for granting me the opportunity to read a digital ARC of this beautiful children's book.

I love the message this book sends to little ones that might feel they’re expected to behave or be a certain way. You should just be able to be yourself! The illustrations for this book really make it, too. And adding in dinosaur ROARs made my son absolutely love it, so it captures ages from little littles to kindergartners. A really great book for all!

ROAR! When the local frog of the forest, Brian, learns that frogs were from the time of the dinosaurs, he's ecstatic. And so he becomes someone new: Briansaurus. However, the frogs and the forest animals believe Brian should act a certain way, not himself. With a bit of help along the way, Brian proves that you can be yourself no matter what. It is a delightful tale of being true to yourself and still having fun. This picture books ROARS!

Quick, fun enough, read about being yourself. I shared and enjoyed this story with my 5 year old son who is always all about anything dinosaur related. He thought it was pretty cool that according to Brian we can all kind of be dinosaurs!

As the person reading the book I will say “Brianosaurus” can be quite a mouthful to get out while reading though! This book would be perfect for preschoolers - it’s short enough to hold attention and fun enough for kids to not be bored and be open to, albeit a little bit silly, discussion after.

This was such a cute book. Perfect for kids struggling to fit in at school or trying to please other people. I wasn't sure at first where the story was going but I loved that in the end the frog just wanted and got to be their self instead of what/who others wanted them to be.
