This was a cute light read perfect for in between Books. What happens when Croc goes to work hungry, because he had no time to eat breakfast.
The art was colorful and fun.
If you search for something to read with your little ones this could be for you.

This book was SO cute. I loved the pictures. My favorite part was when he was trying to think about donuts and pictured something else. This is a good story of friendship. I enjoyed it.

Crocodiles should never skip breakfast! It’s the most important meal of the day! But what happens when Croc is running late for work and must skip breakfast? Just how long can Croc hold out before he must eat??

I read this with my daughter during nap time. I love the colors and how brightly illustrated it is! It even captured my daughter’s attention too! The storyline is very sweet and easy to follow. It helps to teach the lesson on how important breakfast is for everyone. I highly recommend this book for your little one, especially younger children! My daughter is almost 3 months old and we enjoyed it. I will definitely be picking up a copy when it releases!

A Crocodile Should Never Skip Breakfast
by Colleen Larmour

Creative story, direct message to young readers that don’t skip breakfast! The illustration is so lovely and memorable. I love the colors used and the style. At the same time, the young readers can learn other animals in the book too.

The font style is lively, not dull. The wordings and message are also easy to follow. I highly recommend this story book to the young readers and even parents too!

This book was so cute. I loved the idea of using a crocodile to showcase the dangers of getting hangry. I loved the hippo that had a donut shop and the overall illustrations. They were bright and colorful.

For the early riser, Crocodile slept in. As he's in a hurry for his job, he forgets to eat breakfast. And while the local bakery is out of donuts, Crocodile sees his passengers (for the river cruise) as food. Can he get something to eat before it's too late? Laugh out loud, hilarious; this picture book teaches us the meaning behind breakfast. A good moral at the end, and with some donuts, too.

Hippos are my favorite animal. I loved that hippos and crocodiles were mixed together in the story. I think this was a fun book that could lead to some great discussions.

I LOVED this. The escalation of the crocodile's hunger was well-paced. The parallel of the hippo is laid out clearly throughout the whole book. Kids will love laughing at the hungry crocodile's desperate attempts to focus on something other than his hunger.

SOOO cute! I would totally read this at a breakfast/donut story time.

Our crocodile friend thinks he will get a chance to eat breakfast but nothing is going his way. He has to go straight to work without eating and that can be DANGEROUS!

So cute and emphasizes why breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

This was a very cute little story about what can happen if you miss breakfast. With just enough of a sense of danger, the story still ends on a happy note for everyone. Although I'm not sure if donuts are really the best breakfast for hunger crocs or kids.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

This cute story shares the importance of eating breakfast by showing a well-meaning crocodile turn rather hangry after not having enough time to eat. I liked the style of narration and illustrations.
