This is a lovely ode to the mother-daughter relationship. Beautiful illustrations and I love the picture of the exhausted mother in the early pages coming to fetch the baby girl. I also love the full circle ending. Just a really nice read.
I think my toddlers won't quite get it, but will still read it to them anyway.
This is a story full of life. I loved the illustrations, they have bright and appealing colors. It has everything to make children happy.
Thank you net galley for this copy .This was a cute story about depending on your mother .A mother will always be there no matter what happens .It showed the good times and the bad times of needing your mother .This is a good book for a parent for Mother’s Day.I liked the ending the best when the child had a baby and wondered how her mother did everything.
I work in daycare in the summer, and I would totally read that books to my littles! It is well written, there’s not to much details and the characters are diverse! Loved it! The illustrations are great!
I absolutely loved this book and my daughter enjoyed it to. I loved the words and the pictures. It went through all stages of life and it was gorgeous
This was a very sweet story about Mother and daughter relationships. As a 25-year-old woman who is very close with my mom, I thought this story was adorable and if I had children, I would read this to them. I thought the illustrations were darling.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for granting this book in exchange for my honest review.

Oh this book is just BEAUTIFUL. A perfect gift for new mom or for Mother's Day. As a mom myself, who lost my own mom at 13, please CALL YOUR MOTHER! This absolutely made me cry.
Thank you netgalley, the publisher, and Tracy Gold for allowing me to read this book.
This is the sweetest book about a little girl who grows up and needs to call her mother when bad things or good things happen in her life. This book resounds with me and I think it will relate to a lot of people. I recommend this book!!
This book is beautiful! As a mom, I think I enjoy this more than my child would! As an educator, I would not put this book in school due to the nature of different things in the book (pregnancy test) and the fact that there are so many students who do not have a mom or even a mother figure. That said, the book is beautiful and would be a wonderful gift for a new mom who has a good relationship with her own mother. It is sweet, simple, the illustrations are beautiful, and it perfectly depicts the cycle of motherhood!

This was a really heartwarming book to read, it was so simple yet it told so much and has so mch meaning behind it. I will forever have this book in my mind, being the first born oldest daughter of my family and having a closer relationship to my mom who has alwasy been there for me makes this book even more special to me. I hope one day I will be able to do this for my own child. A mothers/parents support is so important for a child and their growth. Again love this so much.

These illustrations are just too gorgeous. That alone makes this book a worthwhile purchase.
I actually think that this is a fantastic book for new mothers, and not for children. I think this is especially amazing for someone who is going through it and needs the reminder that it's okay to reach out and get help.
The overall message is really sweet and heartwarming and I hope it resonates with others ❤️
I absolutely LOVED this book.
I kind of teared up reading it. My daughter loved it too. It is a short story about the relationship between a mother and daughter.
I wasn’t expecting to follow the child and mother both age through different stages in life. This was so cute and a short read to hold a 2 y/o attention. The illustrator did a great job as well. The end had me wanting to tear up, so adorable.

Really lovely book starting from the cover all the way to the end. Images and colours throughout also reflect the lovely nature of this read. A really poignant story within a children's book highlighting how no matter what age, or what stage of life you will always need your mother. Whether it's from being a baby, going to school, falling out with friends or not knowing what to do you can always call or rely on your mum
this was a short but very wholesome and heartwarming picture book about the circle of motherhood. I really enjoyed the illustrations and the meaning of this book. it was simple but yet well done
(thank you netgalley for the e-arc)
Moms are the best and I agree but I feel roles are now changing.
My kid calls for both of us whenever she needs someone. Sometimes she needs me but more than often she needs her father. And I'm glad to see that we both parents share a special bond with our child not like us who shared a bond with just mothers.
I know this book is about mothers and I'm in no way criticizing it but my husband did more than I do for our kid since she is born. We are so brainwashed that we always see mother as a figure who is always available and that's why we praise moms so much. But when after delivery I was in no condition to look after the baby (and everywhere we are supposed to ignore that and look after the baby) my husband took a step up and did everything for our kid. I just feel that kids need someone who is available, it's not really gender specific and we are both always available for our kid. Thanks to our circumstances but we try to go out of our ways too sometimes. Because what's more important than your kid.
This in no way criticizes a role of mother in life of a child but slowly the perspective is changing as dads are trying to become more available for kids like my husband and many friends of mine around me are trying to do.
The illustrations are beautiful and lively. Loved how the complete cycle is shown in the book.
Thank you Netgalley and familius publishing for ARC in exchange of an honest review.
Loved this short adorable book. Being a mother of a 2 year old it was so relatable. Hoping I can be there for her always
I read this book to my kids, its a good story for bedtime hour, and I think younger kids will enjoy this book. This book has really beautiful pictures and gorgeous colors, its a good story book for mothers day.
Its very short and cute.
Thank you Netgalley and Familius, for the free ARC and this is my honest opinion.
This book beautifully portrays the selflessness, comfort, and guidance a child feels towards their mother figure, as well as showing the struggles of motherhood, all in a span of a few pages. This book was able to deliver a truly emotional story that left me longing to call my mother or simply wanting to hug her.
Call Your Mother is a sweet book illustrating the important relationship between mothers and daughters for the entirety of their lives. Even as the cycle of motherhood continues with the daughter.
