This little book is for everybody, not only kids.
It talks about what a Mother does for her children (in this case a daughter) and how the things changes meanwhile their grows up but the Mother there will be always for them.
Many mothers should read this, for learn how much their role is important.
The art style of the drawings is beautiful, very enchanting and warm. Especially color palette.
I love it!
Obviously all the topic of this book is also about what a father, a grandfather, grandmother, uncle or a carekeeper can do for a kid.

Not a children's book making me cry!! Brb gonna buy this for every mom I know (and gonna go call my mom immediately after).

Awwwwww 🥲 this book melted my heart and definitely being a mom. Such a cute book for any mom, grandma, step mom, etc. It would be a great Mother’s Day or baby shower gift

This is such a heartwarming book.
It reminds me of how much I love my own mom and how it feels to be able to rely on her.
But it also reminds me to call my mom and let her know how much I appreciate her for all that she’s done for me and how much she’s supported me.

This is such a sweet book. As a mama of two littles, one of whom has just started saying "help me mama" it hits home. I hope both continue to call me through my life as did the characters in this book. This book's art is also gorgeous and adds so much to the story.

Call Your Mother by Tracy Gold will be a staple baby shower gift from parents to children.
Every single page evoked a memory with my mom and had me tearing up and blubbering by the end. Definitely more for parents and not so much kids until they're starting their own families.

This story is as much for mothers as it is for children. Each page shows a time a child in a child’s life when they would call their mother. As hard as motherhood is in the beginning a mother will always be there.

This book will be a perfect storytime book for mommy and me classes and the bigs mothers day storytime every library offers. Hope there is a father one to go with it!

I definitely feel like this is written for the mommas reading this book to their kids more than for the kids, but I loved it. This book is on the same level as I’ll Love You Forever for me.

Gold’s ’Call Your Mother’ provides young readers with a quick read that reinforces the lifelong bond between mothers and daughters. At times, I do feel that the commitment to the rhyme scheme leaves the intended audience as convoluted, but the heart is in the write place. I enjoyed the illustrations, but I wish the book was more tailored to a small child’s perspective.

Such a sweet book to tug on any mama’s heart strings!!! The illustrations were just darling and added so much to the lovely story.

"I would call my mother too."
this picture book is beautiful, heartwarming, sweet and cute. it is super easy and quick to read, almost takes no time, but the message is important. i loved the illustrations and the small details that were put into them. this short picture book shows the bond between a mother and a daughter as the child goes from childhood into adulthood. this book is a reminder to not take your mom for granted. remember to show your mom appreciation, she deserves it. so beautiful.

Such a brilliant book! I read it t my son while I was rocking him to sleep! Such a loving story that happens in the daily on my daily like. It’s also just such a great way to show that it is okay to call/ask for help from a loving parent who will always be there from you!. #callyourmother

This is a beautiful book to tribute to all mothers. This book has great illustrations and I really appreciate how it dictates the mother and daughter growing through the years. I really enjoyed this book and would love to read it to my students close to Mother's Day.

I really didn't expect to be crying at 9pm today over a children's book about the bond between a daughter and a mother.
As a person who is very close to her mom and could never imagine life without her,
this really made emotional.
This book was a big reminder to never
take your mother for granted.
The illustrations were also
so beautiful ♾️/10
I hope when I have children I can read this to them, because I would definitely have liked this book
when I was younger.

A beautiful book but not really a children's book, but written like one so not really an adult book either. I get the concept but children won't really engage or understand the meaning of the repeated 'call your mother' once the baby at the beginning is a grown woman. Equally it's too simplistic and repetitive for the adults that it feels more aimed. Nice concept, lovely art but not sure it works to follow from.baby to motherhood.

Oh, this was wonderful! Brb, wiping my eyes and calling my mother. I loved this so much.
The illustrations and overarching message are full of heart. This is a children's book, but it would be a great read for new or expecting mothers as well.

Lovely book, the illustrations were beautiful and the message was told really well. I think this would make a great book to gift to new mums

This was such a special book, and a beautiful tribute to the bond between children and their mothers. I loved the way the book grew with the child, through fears, celebrations, and confusion.
The illustrations were beautiful, textured and flowing at the same time. I loved following the Siamese cat in the background.
The prose was simple, beautiful and lyrical, and the ending had me in tears. A reflective and moving story that I think will connect with readers of all ages.
Thank you Familius and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed are my own.

This got me emotional, because I have two small girls and I hope they always love me and call me when they need anything! This was such a sweet story, and reminder to love & honor your mother even when you grow and to know she’s always on your team! I loved the illustrations & message!
