This was a sweet little book about mothers and featured beautiful illustrations. It follows a mother and daughter relationship through the years and is a gently reminder to call your mama.
Glorious and heartwarming reminder that your mother is right there eager to answer your call and support you in big and small ways throughout your life.

Sobbing. I am sobbing. Motherhood is hard- and I feel like this book could be the next generation’s “Love You Forever”. It’s simple. It’s sweet. It’s everything a gift for a new mom should be. Get it for your daughter, your sister, your best friend. Get it for the first time mom or the mom of many. Every mama needs their mama and this book gets to the heart of it. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC- this one is going on my go to gift list!
i found this book to be really precious, no one truly knows the bond between a child and their mother, a daughter and mother specifically and it's so special and well handled in this book
This adorable #ARCs touched my heart with its sweet story. As a daughter who used to chat with her mom a lot, it really hit home.
And even after my mom passed away ( almost 5 years ago), just flipping through the pages brings back the memories.
The story flowed smoothly, and I absolutely loved the detailed illustrations. Being an illustrator myself, the watercolor effect on each page caught my eye.
Read it with my 6-year-old son, Zachary. And he absolutely loved it too! Overall, this picture book is a great gift idea for daughters or new moms, capturing the beauty of mom life.
Thank you so much to @netgalley @tracycgold and @familiusbooks for providing me this beautiful ARC ❤

Thank you Familius publisher for the advance reader copy!
Oh man, this little picture book got me - especially the last page. It made me want to hug my mom and then my toddler. If you like rhymes, charming illustrations, tearing up over children's books, and moms, this is for you.

From baby steps to taking a test, always call your mother. Every page shows the baby growing up, from winning a soccer game to having their own child. It is a heartwarming tale of love and motherhood. It made me smile dearly and reminded me of my own mother growing up. I loved it!
Oh boy, get ready for all the feels with this incredibly sweet children’s book. My favorite children’s books are ones that have great messages for my little ones but also hit differently as a parent reading it to them. This hit me as hard as “Love You Forever” by Robert Munsch. Having just had a little girl of my own, it was the perfect book to let my little girl know she can and should always call on me. But then as it shows the little girl growing up and having a baby of her own, my emotions were punched in the gut as I realized this would happen to me and how I’ll always want her to call on me.
Combined with the adorable illustrations, this will be a hit children’s book.
Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.
Being in the thick of motherhood, this book left me wiping away a couple tears by the end. Children will love the beautiful illustrations and the message of a mothers love. It is a perfect book for adults who rely on the comfort, help and advice of a loving mother to aid them in their own motherhood journey. This will be my new baby gift to friends and family in the future.
Thank you to NetGalley and publisher for providing a copy of this book to review. All opinions are my own.
Call Your Mother by Tracy Gold was super cute book from the beginning till the end, with beautifully colourful illustrations throughout that was very eye catching especially for small children.
It is a heartwarming tribute to the timeless bond between mothers and children, from infancy to parenthood.
It was a book that touched my heart especially as my mum is not here now with us. Sometimes I just want to pick up my phone and call her. So many missed opportunities that was missed when my mum was alive and now regret so this book tore my heart from my chest.
It's a book to read and hopefully learn.....You mum or someone close to you will not be here forever.....So treasure the time you have with them.
Perfectly captured the essence of what a mother's heart feels. There are days I want to call my mother and days I can't wait for my children to call on me.
My 6 year old says this earns 5 out of 5 stars and I agree! It’s an adorable book with beautiful pictures full of love, that illustrates the bond between mom and child. We loved it.
Such a sweet book! What a wonderful gift this would make for a new mother. Absolutely loved the illustrations and the message…..off to go call my mom!
WAH. I loved this sweet book. It reminded me of my first born and I and the bond we have. This book goes from infant to adult and shows the need to always "call your mother". A perfect baby shower gift for those expecting a baby girl.
This book reminds me of my mom. You should read it with your kids. Since we are baby until
we grow up, we will call our mom. Mom always in our hearts and mind. When we need something, when we got bad or happy news, when we are in trouble, when we confused to do something in our live… we will call our mom. Mom is the best partner in this world since they took care of us until we are getting married and have kids. Please read it. I love the illustrartion in this book. It made me cry. Thanks for the ARC!
Everything comes full circle in this story of a daughter and her mother. Brief glimpses of the daughter’s life is shown from the day she is born until she is all grown up and how a mother’s love is always there to guide and comfort.
Such an adorable book with fun illustrations. It follows a child and her mom from childhood to adulthood. Showcasing the bond between mother and daughter.
My son loved finding the cat in every scene. And laughing at the antics of the young daughter.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This book teaches us that, Mom, Mother, Mommy will always be there for us, throughout our entire life, and it is wonderful to have Mom there to help. The text is well written and the illustrations are sweet, and the message is simple and profound. Not, "Mom always liked you best!" as the late Tommy Smothers would say to brother Dick, but, rather, "Mom loves us." And she does. Call Your Mother.
