This series is intriguing. Small boxes left at an unwed mother’s home where babies were put up for adoption, are being placed with relatives.
This time, the contents of the box is worth a lot. But is it worth more than family? Not even blood family but those who choose you.
Can love work across the miles? Read on..
I received a complimentary copy of this book. My opinions are my own.

Thanks to the Publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I found it hard to put down, as well as feeling sad whilst reading the story in both the past and present timelines.

It was well written, you feel like you’re in between the pages of the book with the characters. With so much happening, mystery, loss and love. You want to continue reading to find out what happens next.

I highly recommend this book.

Book Four in The Lost Daughters series. A very heartfelt book about love and loss. A tearjerker that will leave you breathless.

There was a time when girls were sent to homes if they got pregnant. They were considered damaged. Loose. Bad. They were hidden so their family's could go on with their statues in life without that blemish. Sometimes these girls didn't want to give up their babies. Sometimes they were forced to do something that was so against what their hearts wanted. This is just that sort of story in many ways...

The Present, London
You meet Georgia when she and her best friend have first sold their company. Georgia gets a call from a lawyer. When she goes to meet the lawyer she is given a box. Inside the box is something that will change her life forever.

The Past, Lake Geneva, 1951
A marriage of convenience. A loveless marriage. Delphine married Giovanni hoping he would come to love her. They had two children. A son and a daughter. That is where their life basically ends. They will always be married he said. But as long as she's discreet she's free to live her life as she sees fit. Just as he does only in different countries for the most part. In comes Florian. The man who will change Delphine's life. Forever.

This book took my breath away. It had me wishing for things to happen. Crying my eyes out in parts. Holding my breath in other parts. A love that couldn't be. A love that was. A love that will be. Lives forever changed. It all starts after a stay at Hope's House. Hope's House is a home for expectant mothers. A place where they can feel safe.

Told in two timelines and about two women who never met but are related. This is a rich and loving story with some very sad things happening too. But it's all for the sake of love. A true, deep, forever, love...

Thank you #NetGalley, #SorayaLane, #Bookouture, for this ARC. This is my own true thoughts about this book.

Five big stars.

Soraya Lane’s The Lost Daughter series just gets better and better with each installment! A beautiful series full of family secrets, self discovery and an object in a wooden box that will keep you yearning for the next installment before you’ve even finished the first!

When Georgia is summoned to a lawyer’s office in regard to her estranged grandmothers estate…she’s skeptical and also very distracted. She’s a successful businesswoman on the verge of selling her company so this meeting doesn’t come as the most opportune time. When she is handed a small wooden box found under the floorboards of a soon to be demolished Hope’s House…she has no idea that its contents will solve a decades long mystery and take her down a path she’d never imagine for herself.

Of all the characters in this series, I find myself relating to Georgia the most so far. She’s been in a state of holding her breath for so long and this little box and the journey it takes her own allows her to exhale. I think we all go through something similar at some point in our lives and for me…I exhaled at the same moment as Georgia.

I cannot wait for the next installment of this series! Thank you to Bookouture, NetGalley and Soraya for the opportunity to read this gem before it hits the shelves! I loved every page

The Lost Daughters series centers around Hope House, a home for unwed mothers, with seven women receiving a box with clues that hint at secrets from the past.

In The Sapphire Daughter, Georgia hopes to solve the clues left in a box for her grandmother. Not only does she embark on a journey to unlock the clues and discover the secrets in her family's past, she finds she is also on a journey of personal self-discovery. Readers will travel between London and Geneva, in this dual timeline story that takes place in 1951 and present day.

In most dual timelines, I am drawn to the past storyline, yet in this case I was more invested in Georgia's story. As she unearth's secrets from the past, she learns to open her heart to love.

I am really invested in this series and am eagerly waiting for the next installment.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author/publisher thorough Netgalley and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

In present day London, Georgia comes in possession of a pink sapphire that she decides to get appraised. Leaving it with the jeweler, she doesn't expect much. When she returns, she quickly finds out that not only is the sapphire quite valuable, it has a history that is very important. This leads Georgia to Lake Geneva.

As this story is told in two timelines, it also goes back to Lake Geneva in 1951. Delphine has two children and is a very unhappy marriage. If it were up to her she and her family would be happy and united, but her husband has other ideas. After a while she meets and falls in love with Florian. Although divorce would be difficult at that time, Delphine and Florian begin to make plans for their future. Tragically, things do not turn out that way and Delphine finds herself temporarily residing at Hope's House, a home for unwed mothers.

While Georgia is in Lake Geneva, she meets Luca, a man who inherited a stunning sapphire tiara from his grandfather. This tiara had been missing a single sapphire, and as it turns out, it is the very sapphire that Georgia has in her possession.

Hope's House has a big role in what Georgia learned and what Delphine experienced all those years before. In fact, Hope's House played a big role in each woman's story in this Lost Daughters series by Soraya Lane. Each story was a delight and it was very interesting to see these dual timeline stories. I really enjoyed both Georgia and Delphine's story, although Delphine's story was one of loss and sadness. Georgia's story had more light, and this pulled this book together in quite a satisfying manner.

As Georgia is not the only woman who had received a mysterious box connected to Hope’s House, I cannot wait for the next book in this warm and engaging series. Each story was truly lovely, and with excellent writing and satisfying endings, this series is a true winner for me.

Many thanks to Bookouture and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

"The Sapphire Daughter" is book #4 in the Lost Daughters series, and I can confidently say each book just gets better as the series goes on!

The book is told in a dual timeline, the first is set in 1951 where we see Delphine navigate through her life in an unhappy marriage, until she meets Florian. The second timeline is present day, and we follow Georgia who like the other women in the previous books, received clues about her family heritage.

There were many emotional moments for me while reading this book that I get goosebumps just from writing that!

Georgia's love story with Luca was just beautiful and seeing that while reading Delphine and Florian's had my heart feeling so many emotions for everyone.

Soraya really knows how to write a beautiful story which makes you feel like you are there watching it happen around you. I am looking forward to the next book in the series!

Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

1951: Delphine and Florian are in marriages but without their hearts. As the two find each other's company, they nurture a love for the ages despite the uncertain future looming over them.

𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘋𝘢𝘺: Georgia lost her family as a kid and as she stumbles upon a little wooden box with the key to unlock her future, it might just fulfill her wildest desires to regain a family.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘋𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳 is a very emotional and touching read. The nuances of motherhood and intricacies of family life leads this book to be one of the most beautiful one in the series so far.

I can never not commend the women featured in these stories for their bravery and endurance.

I appreciated the writing that I never lost touch with either of the timelines and it kept me hooked on to the story that was set in motion decades ago.

The latest book in the Lost Daughters series does not disappoint! I loved the story of Georgia finding the link to her biological family, and the love story of Georgia and Luca is the icing on the cake! This is such a sweet series, and I’ve loved every book the author has written!

I had forgotten that this was the latest book in a series . However, don't let that deter you. Set in dual times, a young woman goes to Geneva, Switzerland to find out who she is descended from. Family secrets and new relationships are all bought together in a way that makes me want to read the other books in this series. This story reminds me of the books by the late Lucinda RIley (her Sister's books series)and I am thrilled to follow this author and her novels.

Another great read from Soraya Lane. If you are looking for a little bit of escapism with a great duel timeline story line and believable characters this is for you. Highly recommended. Looking forward to the next one in the series.

I hadn’t realised that this was the fourth book in a series. It can definitely be read as a standalone book. But has made me want to go back and read the others. It is a charming story of love and loss that really draws you into the characters, and locations, if you like dual timelines with a heavy dose of romance, then this is the book for you.

The Sapphire Daughter is book 4 in Soraya Lane's "The Lost Daughters" series and as usual with all of her books, it does not disappoint. A dual timeline story, the first timeline takes place in 1951 and we meet Delphine, a young mother of two children who is unhappily married when she meets her soulmate, Florian. The second timeline takes place in the present day and we meet Georgia, an orphan whose parents had died when she was 15 and she was taken in by her best friend's family. Just like in the other "Lost Daughters" books, Georgia receives a call from a law firm stating that there is something she has been left and when she goes to the office, she is given a box that had been intended for her deceased grandmother. No spoilers - but this is an amazing read that I found myself staying up late to finish because I just had to find out what happened with Delphine and also with her great-granddaughter Georgia. I was thrilled to read the author's notes and learn there will be a book #5! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

Book 4 in The Lost Daughters Series. What an emotional read this one is in so very many ways!! As Hope says, this mother was neither unmarried, nor facing an unknown situation! So much loss & heartbreak…in many characters’ lives, whether they knew it or not! So many people touched by the story in both timelines. The far-sightedness of the lady’s maid on that fateful night. So many touching moments. And not wanting to give any spoilers, but so many really good, insightful ‘scenes’ along the way! Riveting!!

Book 4 in the Lost Daughters series will grip you with its tale of a pink sapphire once part of a royal Italian tiara. A must-read!

OMG! This book was incredible just like the rest that I've already read in this series. I couldn't get it into my hands to read fast enough. And just WOW. Like the others before it, this story tugs on the heart. I even cried, something that rarely happens when I read a book. I was completely invested in the characters-- especially the ones specific to this book but I'm also extremely curious to learn more about Hope's and Mia's stories. (Once you read this book, you'll know who I'm talking about. But don't worry this is not a cliffhanger that, in any way, decreased my enjoyment of this book.)

I cannot recommend this book strongly enough! But if you haven't read the ones before, I suggest you do just to treat yourself. It's not needed to understand this one though.

Thank you to Bookouture, NetGalley, and the author for an advanced reading copy. The Sapphire Daughter is a must-read that will touch your heart. Now, I impatiently wait for the next installment.
