I'm cleaning up my review list and read this book but when I went to post a review, it's not at Amazon or Barnes and Noble, so I can't leave one. Thank you for the opportunity to read it, though.

I can see what this book is trying to do, unfortunately, it didn't quite get there.
Some scenes felt forced, over the top and fake, which really takes away from the magical element within this book.
The pacing was perfect throughout.

I really enjoyed the ideas in this story and what the world that Daniels created could have been. It was a fast paced, interesting world, but the writing failed to convey to me anything more than surface level details. It felt as if the ideas weren't as fleshed out as they could have been.The idea of finding your Match and creating a marriage was an intriguing idea, but fell flat. The whole magical world was never truly explained with anything more than a vague reference. Overall I did enjoy it. It was a fun, light, fast, easy read and ever chapter I said would be my last was truly never my last so this book does hook you in and stays with you after you’ve finished weeks ago. There were some great twist and turns
