Great addition to the series from Hazel Beck. Very clearly sets up the fourth and final book with a third point of view.

This was by far my favorite book of the series so far! I 1) love a pregnancy trope and 2) felt the most connected to these characters. I think it helped that the world was more developed and even the character's backstories were already pretty well hashed out. It allowed the book to be more plot focused while still developing the characters. I'm really hoping for more about Ellowyn and Zander's new family but I'm realizing it would be after the events of the last book take place :(
The only criticism I have is that element of the fairytale story that is going to come into play with the final book. Obviously this is a fantasy series with witches and ghosts but so far there hasn't been any indication that fantastical creatures like dragons exist in this universe so its odd that the authors are all of a sudden introducing that for the final book of the series.

This was a cozy book. I enjoyed the plot and the characters. I want to read more from this author and series.

I am Truly, Madly, Magically in love with Hazel Beck and the world they both (yes, the author is a pair of women) have created. This book builds beautifully upon the first few and I so enjoyed continuing in this world. Ellowyn steps into her own and maybe we learn, grown and heal alongside her as she learns to trust again.

Thank you to Netgalley and the Publishing Company for this Advanced Readers Copy of Truly Madly Magically by Hazel Beck!

This book wraps up a lot of things in the series in a really nice way. I loved the prickly Ellowyn's perspective and story, and this was entertaining, sweeping, and interesting.

If you’re looking for something light, sweet, easy, entertaining, and thoughtful… read this book and the rest of the Witchlore series! This series is a cozy fun read packed with emotion. Ellowyn was such a fun FMC to follow, and her story felt incredibly emotional and tender. I really enjoyed her journey with Zander. So far, all of the Hazel Beck books in the Witchlore series have a great focus of women finding themselves and coming into their own. This story just makes you all warm and fuzzy by the end.

This book is such a cute, fall, magical realism read! The growth of the FMC was amazing the follow throughout, just like the rest of the Witchlore books. This book with hook. you in and make you emotionally invested in all the characters!

Book Review: Truly Madly Magically by Hazel Beck
⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5)
In Truly Madly Magically, the third installment of the Witchlore series, Hazel Beck centers the narrative on Ellowyn Good, a half-witch cursed to always tell the truth. Ellowyn grapples with her place in the Riverwood coven and confronts past emotions involving her first love, Zander. As the malevolent Joywood coven targets her, Ellowyn must collaborate with her coven and navigate her complex relationship with Zander to survive.
Beck's portrayal of Ellowyn and Zander's rekindled relationship offers a heartfelt exploration of second chances. The narrative delves into their past misunderstandings and personal growth, providing depth to their renewed connection.
However, the inclusion of certain tropes, such as the surprise pregnancy, may not resonate with all readers and can detract from the overall enjoyment. Additionally, while the book can be read as a standalone, familiarity with the previous installments enhances the understanding of character dynamics and overarching plotlines.
The novel's blend of witchcraft, romance, and action provides an engaging experience, though some plot developments may feel predictable. Despite these shortcomings, Truly Madly Magically remains a cozy, witchy read suitable for fans of the genre.
In summary, while the book has its strengths in character development and atmospheric setting, certain narrative choices may not appeal to all readers. Even though it wasn't for me, Truly Madly Magically is a pleasant addition to the Witchlore series, particularly for those invested in Ellowyn and Zander's journey.

This book falls into a genre that I don’t usually read but this book may have changed that. I thoroughly enjoyed this book even though I hadn’t first realized this was part of a series. I have since read them all. I love Ellowyn and Zander. I cannot wait for the next book.

In Truly, Madly, Magically, readers are swept away to the magical town of St Cyprian. While I came into this series without the benefit of the first two books, I was instantly charmed by the atmosphere and tone of this whimsical, cozy mystery.
The story starts with a bang and the mystery only continues to grow. It’s never without a sense of suspense, and the ultimate resolution feels satisfying. It’s a cozy mystery in the truest sense — a clever puzzle and a delightful group of friends that you can’t help but want to stick around for. Even without prior knowledge of the series, the plot is accessible, and the characters’ relationships grow naturally, leaving me curious about their histories and eager to read more.
St Cyprian itself feels like a character, with its picturesque streets, friendly (if occasionally eccentric) residents, and the small town atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of little details that keep you turning pages.
In short, Truly, Madly, Magically is an enjoyable, lighthearted read with the perfect blend of mystery, magic, and community. Whether you’re already a fan of St Cyprian or just discovering it, this book will leave you wishing you could visit the town yourself—maybe even for a bit of magic and a chat with its inhabitants. The perfect choice for a cozy weekend read!

The third in the series, Truly Madly Magically continues the story of the Riverwood Coven through the eyes of Ellowyn Good.
Ellowyn is cursed to tell the truth. Always. Can you imagine? No white lies, no lies of omission, no turns of phrase...only truth all the time. Ellowyn is also cursed (not actually but in her mind) with a lack of belief in herself. She doesn't believe that she truly belongs or contributes to the coven's power. She is only half a witch after all.
As the coven continues to battle the evil Joywood coven, she starts to realize, with the help of her friends and her sort of ex, Zander, that perhaps there's a reason the Joywood is targeting her and maybe she's more powerful than she ever thought.
Read if you like:
cozy witch stories
second chance at love
found family
good vs evil
a true growing into one's own self story.

** spoiler alert ** I had a hard time finishing this book because of the FMC's personality. Also, spoiler, but accidental pregnancy is kind of a surprising move for the plot. Not my favorite in this series.

Perhaps it may be because this book in the series was dedicated to mothers and I am expecting my first child as I read it, but this has been my favorite part of the series thus far.
I personally enjoy a grumpy romance and, if you’ve been following the series thus far, you know that Ellowyn and Zander are just that. So I was excited to see that this next book explored their disdain for each other and the suggested romance they had before all of that.
Without spoiling one of the main “complications”, this storyline hit home for me in some ways, and I loved seeing Ellowyn find her strength and a new meaning of herself in the midst of it all.
I can’t wait to read the next installment about Georgie.
Thank you NetGalley for an ARC of the book!

Finally go around to finishing this one and I loved it! Zander cand Ell have had amazing tension throughout this series so it was amazing to finally follow their story. Also, the Joywood are going down and I can't wait to see what Hazel Beck does for Georgie's story and please have it involve the magical stair post somehow!
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review!

A Whimsical Brew of Romance and Witchcraft: A Review of Hazel Beck's "Truly Madly Magically"
Hazel Beck's "Truly Madly Magically" is a charming and delightful romantic comedy that blends small-town charm with a dash of magic. If you're looking for a lighthearted, feel-good read with a witchy twist, this book is a perfect potion.
The story centers around Portia, a single mom with a secret: she's a witch. Determined to keep her powers under wraps and provide a stable life for her daughter in the quaint town of Evermore, she's built a successful business and become a pillar of the community. But her carefully constructed life is thrown into disarray when the town's mayor, also a single parent, proposes a merger of the town with the larger, neighboring town. This would result in a loss of the charm of the town. Then there is the fact that the mayor is the one man in town who makes her magic go haywire - Ben. Their bickering and undeniable chemistry light up the pages, making their interactions a joy to read.
Beck's writing is witty and engaging, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that draws the reader into the world of Evermore. The small-town setting is vividly depicted, with its quirky residents and charming traditions. The magical elements are seamlessly integrated into the story, adding a touch of whimsy without overwhelming the romance.
The heart of the novel lies in the relationship between Portia and Ben. Their enemies-to-lovers dynamic is both hilarious and heartwarming. As they navigate their differences and their growing attraction, they learn to embrace their vulnerabilities and accept each other, flaws and all.
The supporting characters are equally well-drawn, adding depth and humor to the narrative. Portia's coven sisters, in particular, are a source of both amusement and support, providing a strong sense of female friendship and solidarity.
While the book is generally light and fun, it also touches on themes of community, acceptance, and the importance of embracing one's true self. Portia's journey to reconcile her magical identity with her desire for a "normal" life is relatable and ultimately empowering.
What makes this book stand out:
Charming Rom-Com: The enemies-to-lovers dynamic between Portia and Ben is delightful.
Whimsical Magic: The integration of magic into the everyday world is fun and engaging.
Strong Supporting Characters: Portia's coven and the other residents of Evermore add depth and humor.
Small-Town Charm: The setting is vividly depicted and adds to the cozy atmosphere.
Potential drawbacks:
Predictable Plot: While enjoyable, the story follows a familiar rom-com formula.
Light on Stakes: The conflict is relatively low-stakes, which may not appeal to readers seeking more dramatic tension.
Overall:
"Truly Madly Magically" is a charming and entertaining read that will leave you with a smile on your face. It's a perfect blend of romance, humor, and a touch of magic, making it an ideal escape from the everyday. If you're looking for a lighthearted, feel-good book with a witchy twist, this is the perfect one to add to your reading list. Hazel Beck has crafted a delightful world that you'll want to revisit again and again.
Highly recommended for fans of: Alice Hoffman's Practical Magic, Sarah Addison Allen's novels, and anyone who enjoys a good rom-com with a touch of the supernatural. This book is perfect for a cozy afternoon read, preferably with a cup of tea and a cat curled up on your lap.

Thank you to Harlequin Trade Publishing & NetGalley for this ARC!
Okay…so I’ve never read the other two books in the Witchlore series BUT I loved this 3rd book in the series! Such a fun, cozy, romantic fantasy that was easy to dive into and enjoy. At the beginning I was a little confused as to what was going on (obviously since I didn’t read the other two haha), but the storyline and characters were still so interesting and captivating, so I didn’t mind! Now I guess I’ll need to pick up books 1 and 2! Great read!

A charming story with a whimsical premise, but the pacing dragged in places. The magic system was creative, but the character development felt uneven. Still, it’s a light and enjoyable read for fans of magical realism.

This author expertly blends magic, romance and a pocketful of humor in this book.
I loved the characters, the plot, everything. The cover initially pulled me in while wandering Netgalley and I am glad I requested it. This book was charming but maybe a little slow from the very beginning. Perhaps a little predictable at times but I was able to overlook that in lieu of the sweet, adorable moments within.

Thank you to Hazel Beck and Netgalley for the ARC of this book. I have been reading the Witchlore since the first book released a few years ago. I was so looking forward to reading this one as the character dynamic was a couple I knew would make for an interesting read on how they resolve their relationship drama. I thought the book was a bit slow to pick up at first despite it flowing straight from the ending of the second novel and being relatively high energy. I enjoyed the ghost ancestors in this novel and their role in fixing a broken relationship and repairing what went wrong across centuries and curses. Overall, I enjoyed this book. It was not my favorite of the series but it was a worthy addition and makes me itch for the final book. I highly recommend reading this book but starting from the first in the series, do not start here you will not understand the background of the story. Additionally, I think Hazel Beck do such a wonderful job of creating witches and covens in a way that gives you a vivid picture into the town and lives and magic without it coming across as cheezy or corny. Definitely recommend reading this one!
