Hazel Beck continues to weave these magical and deeply feeling stories that immediately pull me in. Again almost finished this in one sitting. I loved it just as much if not a little more than the first two in the series. I wasn’t sure what to expect from Ellowyn’s story but it did not disappoint if maybe broke my heart a tiny bit. She continues to portray self doubting strong a** women who fiercely stand up for what they believe in and prove their strength to themselves every time. I could read this over and over and over again. It touched on some themes that felt like she was speaking directly to me. While I may be a tiny heart broken, I also somehow feel a little but back together. I feel another book in the story may be coming and I will run just as fast to read that one too!

I have loved the Witchlore series since Small Town, Big Magic and Hazel Beck did not disappoint with this latest installment. Truly Madly Magically does start off awkwardly if you're not familiar with the previous two books but we get right into the action of El and Zander. Hazel Beck has a phenomenal way of making the love story an integral part of the larger plot. The Ravenwood coven is on the cusp of ascension with the Joywood doing their dastardly best to keep the power of being the ruling coven from changing hands. At the center of this is the story of Ellowyn and Zander - can they work through their past to be the team the coven and St. Cyprian (and the world!) needs them to be?

I received this arc and hadn’t read this author before. I wish I would have. I highly enjoyed this book, but I do wish I had read the prior books in this series because I didn’t have all the backstory. Even without the backstory, you get sucked in and enjoy the magic and mystery. I will be going back to read her other books and look forward to the next book in this series!

I think this is my favorite book by Hazel thus far.. it was captivating, full of a magical spark that draws you in and makes you want to stay submersed in the story long after it’s done.

I have read the other 2 in the Witchlore series and enjoyed both greatly. This book was no different. Ellowyn and Zander's story were a big part in the other two books, even though this one was quite the twist on their story. We went from raging anger to deep-seated love. Quite the character development. Obviously, the story is not finished here, because I am still over screaming about these dang crows and how could Ellowyn not the make connection of the crows and what Georgie and Frost were trying to research? Also, we have to have Georgie's story. I am going to blame Ellowyn's pregnancy brain. I know the pregnancy trope is not a lot of people's favorite, and and I get, but I feel like this was tastefully done. There were so many other wild witchy things going on that you weren't consumed by the pregnancy. This storyline has been a long one and can feel a bit drawn out at points. The drama with Joywood is a main part of the series, so I feel like switching up the POV and storyline, while still telling that story is helpful.

Overall, a great read and a great series! Will be screaming about the crows until we get the next book.

Ever since I read the first two books in the St. Cyprian series, the characters I have been most curious about have been Ellowyn and Zander. So I was really happy that the third book is about them. I really wanted to get their backstory and find out why they are the way they are. And this book did not disappoint! I absolutely adored the character development and growth Ellowyn went through, it felt real and well earned. I also loved the continuation of the overarching magical series plotline, and the ending made me want to read the next book ASAP. The only thing I would have loved to see was Zander's point of view, I tend to like dual pov stories more than single pov. But all in all, an good romance and continuation of the series.

This was a fun, quick read! A good chic flick fantasy! Hazel Beck does an excellent job developing characters and stories so that it draws the reader in. I look forward to recommending this book to my friends and checking out Hazel Beck's future releases!

Truly Madly Magically was a quick romp through a magical town and its citizens as they prepare for new witchy leadership. The Riverwood coven is a band of misfits trying to overthrow the corrupt Joywood coven before they can truly destroy not only their beloved town, but the family and friends they love. Now, I didn't realize this was the third book in a series, but the author did a good job of rehashing past events and contextualizing character relationships and back stories. The fact that I felt a little lost on what was going on is my own fault. I did enjoy the writing style. The author does a good job of portraying character relationships and feelings, but it did often feel like too much explaining of relationships and feelings at the expense of the plot. The concept of this book was super fun, though. It felt like Gilmore Girls if everyone was witches and ,wanted to curse Lorelei and Rory. It also reminded me of Charmed or Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The main character was a fun narrator and I enjoyed her witty inner monologues. But I just didn't find myself that engrossed in the story. I think had I read the other books, I would have been more into it, and that's entirely on me.

A few things - one, like a previous reviewer stated, the format on kindle was off, and there was a break every line which made this SUPER hard to read and get into.

The story follows Ellowyn and Zander along with their coven as Ellowyn goes through some….life changes. Honestly, I’m not one for fantasy or really magic outside of Harry Potter but I loved the cover and the description of this book. Although it was not for me in the end, I did enjoy reading outside my comfort zone and learning a whole new world of magic! Ellowyn and Zander are quite the pair and their love story is one for the books (pun intended). Eager to see where this series takes us!

I received this as an ARC from NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing. I have not read the previous two books in the series, but look forward to doing so!
I enjoyed this novel - although the beginning was a bit confusing to me, and I didn’t like how angsty our protagonist was. Even with the confusion, I was quickly hooked by the plot, drawn to the characters, and anxious to know what was coming.
Some of the descriptions seemed repetitive (stormy eyes, for example), and the book contained a couple typos. However, this was a win for me.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for this opportunity to read rate and review this arc which is available August 27,2024!

This was a cute cozy fantasy read that had a surprising amount of substance. It is a part of a series so I recommend reading the books previous. It focuses on a different couple from the other books so it’s kinda like interconnected.

Anyway super cute. Light fluffy romance with witches. Shenanigans etc. I dug it.

This book is the third book in the Witchlore series- I highly recommend reading the first two Witchlore books (Small Town, Big Magic and Big Little Spells) to fully appreciate and value how amazing this story is! This story follows Ellowyn Good and continues to follow the Riverwood Coven's pursuit for justice against the Joywood, the ruling coven. The Witchlore series first captivated me with Emersyn Wilde's story from her perspective but each story is from a different witch's perspective, making them unique yet interwoven as the story continues across the series. While Emersyn was my favorite character, Ellowyn's character evolution through this book not only resonated with me but also was so believable! I also appreciated how Emersyn's flaws were called into question and her friends, including Ellowyn, pointed out the positives and intentions behind those flaws. I absolutely loved the family dynamics and friendships. Hazel Beck continues the epic storyline and makes the book both plot and character driven. The growth you see of the characters in each book is one of my favorite pieces and Truly, Madly, Magically is no exception. This story includes themes of friendship, love, and good vs. evil. I cannot wait for the release of this book in August to share it with all of my friends.

Back to the town of St. Cyprian and the group of witches known collectively as the Riverwood Coven. This is book #3 in the Witchlore series - centering on Ellowyn and Zander and their unfinished business, with the Joywood Coven and their on again off again relationship. The Riverwoods are gearing up for the Ascension while Ellowyn does what she can to protect herself from the onslaught of attacks from the Joywood. There's more than Ellowyn's life in the balance and Jacob works up a ritual that may help all of the Summoners overcome the recent illness that can not be cured. Zander is there, right by Ellowyn, the whole time - undeterred by her attempts to push him away. Could this be like it was when their love was less complicated or will this end badly, again. As the Riverwood make their stand against the evil Joywood Coven truths will be heard and justice is within reach.

I love this series and I was so excited to get to read the ARC on NetGalley! I adore these characters and their quirky personalities. I want to be a part of this story!!

*A note that the formatting on this ARC (for the Kindle version) was really weird. Every line had a break which made is kind of difficult to read at times and hard for me to get into because of that.

4/5 stars.

So I went into this book without reading the previous 2 in the series, but I thought the cover was so gorgeous and I loved the title (a play on a Savage Garden song, come on!) and description, so I decided to give it a shot anyway. So glad I did!

I loved Ellowyn, Zander, and this magical story. I'm a sucker for a cozy witchy book and this didn't disappoint in that department. The 1 star deduction comes from the story being a bit slow in parts, particularly in the beginning. But overall I really enjoyed it all the way through, and it made me want to read the other two in the series.

It's also such a beautiful cover I may just have to buy the hardcover when it gets released!

Working on my Goodreads review now, will link here once it's ready.

**4.5 stars rounded up to 5**

I absolutely loved the first two books in this series, so when I saw the ARC available on NetGalley, I immediately applied. When I got the e-mail I had been approved, I may have scared my husband by yelling, and then immediately started reading.

This book started off much slower for me than the first two, and I have to admit that I was concerned I wasn't going to like it as much. The beginning of the book felt like Ellowyn was super angsty, and there was so much talk about the drama between her and Zander to the point where it felt like that was all we were talking about. Thankfully, that didn't last the entire book, and about 33% of the way in, it got much, much better.

While this is not my favorite in the series, I did still absolutely love it. I felt like I was there fighting alongside the characters; I found myself talking to them like they could hear me; I was rooting for them and booing the bad guys. The ending has me praying that there will be a fourth book because I need more. What really stinks is that this book doesn't come out until the end of August, so who knows how long I'll have to wait for a 4th book (assuming there is one...please let there be one!)...and patience isn't one of my strong suits.

Do not wait to buy this book - go ahead and pre-order it like I have because you will thank me later. Actually - just buy all 3 books, because you'll want to read them again and again.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for letting me read this ARC, and to Hazel Beck for writing this amazing series.
