Thus was exciting! Having not read the first two, I was definitely confused at times. I feel like it was probably not great to start a series this way, but i have no complaints! The world building and plot were magical.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one! Ellowyn and Zander and the perfect enemies to lovers couple! The pacing was a bit slow, but I really enjoyed the characters and watching them find their way to each other.

I absolutely adore the Witch Lore series so, so much! I love every character and the parts they play in each other's lives. This one follows Ellowyn and Zander, ,who believe they hate each other after a tumultuous past, but circumstances in the present change all of that. This is one of my absolute favorite series and I really hope there are more to come!!

ok so I'm giving this book 3.5 stars. I'm newer to this and I didn't realize that this was book three in the series. That being said i will probably go back and read the first two books and reread this one to update my review. I still enjoyed the book even though i was missing some major backstory. I liked the characters and the fmc was definitely relatable at times. I will say though it was painfully slow at some parts. Alot of things in the Diaglog were repetitive and overly descriptive which made the book feel way longer than it was and not in the most positive way I'm afraid. Also any books that are pregnancy trope-ish is just not my cup of tea.

Final thoughts: I think fans of witchlore would enjoy this book. i could see what the writer was going for, i think a few tweaks to minimize the repetitive dialog would be really helpful in my opinion. And lastly, I don't know if this is related but i noticed some names from other witchy classics. Zelda from Sabrina the teenage witch as one of few. I would like to think that the names were inspired by them? either way it brought a smile to my face.

I want to thank Netgalley & Harlequin for this ARC!

I had already read both of Hazel Beck’s other Witchlore books prior to the third & I was obsessed with the other two so I had high hopes for this one! Let me just tell you the third did not disappoint!!

If you like witchy books or liked The Ex Hex then you'll love the Witchlore series! I personally was dying to know what happened between our rival covens & this wrapped it up well for me! It had the perfect amount of conflict in the plot but also adding some romance mixed in. I liked the relationship between Zander & Ellowyn even though I think there could be a little more depth to their relationship explained (why I only gave it 4 stars).

This book had me hooked from the start & I couldn’t put it down. Highly recommend if you like a witchy book with a little romance thrown in!

I loved this book so much I finished it in one day. I have been flying through this series and really enjoying it. Big thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the eARC of this book!!! I binged the first two books after I received the ARC and man they did not disappoint. I absolutely love the overarching plot line that continues from book to book as well as the smaller couple romance plot that features a different couple each book. These books give a small town Gilmore girls vibe combined with the witchy political upheaval of A discovery of witches vibes. I absolutely LOVE it. Any sort of ousting of not so great leaders with questionable morals is right up my alley. I love that I loved these books but I am now sooooo sad I have to wait so long for book 4 haha.

This was a cute book. Cute story. Some of it felt a little slow in my opinion but overall I enjoyed it and the little hints here and there. It stated a magic infused romcom. And although there were some moments that were romantic and funny I don’t feel this was very all that romcomy

3.75 - While a great story on love and family, I felt some things dragged on too much and others weren't given enough. I will continue the series though as I enjoy the characters and storyline.

Truly Madly Magically is the third book in the Witchlore series, but it could be read as a standalone. Beck does a great job of succinctly yet sufficiently summarizing plot points in the previous books that are relevant to this story. Each book follows a different member of the Riverwood coven.

Truly Madly Magically follows Ellowyn Good, the Riverwood coven’s summoner, as they make a bid (called ascension) to become the leading coven over their magical town of St. Cyprian, Missouri. Aside from the perils of running for magical office, Ellowyn reignites an old flame, drops some major news that will change lives, and learns that she is more than a half-witch summoner who was cursed to tell the truth after all.

While I did enjoy Ellowyn’s character in the first two books of the series, there was a lot left to be desired with her as the first person narrator. I was expecting her to be more badass than brooding and petulant. There was too much not knowing what she wanted and being angry about the past for me. I know it was done for character growth, but it took too long and was too repetitive.

Things I did enjoy:
- the evolution of Ellowyn and Zander’s relationship and their vulnerability with each other
- the ascension happenings and blood ritual were thrilling
- the Riverwood coven’s dynamic is wholesome and supportive with a tough love approach

This book comes out in August 2024, but while you wait for it be sure to read the first two in the series!

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for a review.

Hazel Beck does it again! Truly Madly Magically was a great followup to her previous works. Cursed by her mother to only tell the truth, Ellowyn has had to fight for everything and always felt less than the rest of the coven. She has to work with her old love and newly formed coven to over through the evil witches in the town. The story is moving, funny, and perfect for cozy fall evenings. I highly recommend it.

I went into this book knowing that I hadn't read books one and two - that being said, I didn't feel confused or that I was missing out on major details which I enjoy in book series. I enjoyed the characters, I enjoyed the coven aspect, and I'll most likely go back and read books one and two. I found myself invested in the story which is always a good sign for me. It was a quick easy read.

Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for a review.

Cursed by her own mother to always tell the truth and one of the only half-witches around, Ellowyn Good has never considered herself an equal part of the Riverwood coven. But when the evil ruling coven of the witching world targets her directly, she begins to wonder why they want her gone.

She’ll need to work with her newly formed coven to survive, which includes dealing with her first love, past wreckage and a whole new complication she didn’t see coming. With their fates in the balance, Ellowyn will have to learn to trust Zander again—or be doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past. Assuming they all survive the Joywood’s latest bid for absolute power over the witching world…

This one is a great third installment of a series - we all know that's a hard one to nail! This is my favorite in the St. Cyprian series. I almost didn't keep going after book one but I'm glad I did.

Truly Madly Magically is the third book in the Witchlore series. In this book, Ellowyn Good is facing some major changes to her life, including having to reconnect with her first love and trying to figure out a way to trust him and let him back into her life. The fact that Ellowyn is a half witch has kept her from fully feeling like she is part of the Riverwood Coven. However, when evil and danger threaten her and everything she loves, she will need to step up and work with her coven to protect herself and each other.

This book has some great elements of 'found family' and choosing to be there for the people in your life and letting those people show up for you even when you think you can do it all on your own. I wish that I had read the first two books in the series before reading this book. Even though you can read it alone and still understand what is going on, reading the first two books would have given me more of the background that I wanted in this book. Overall, this is a fun read that would be perfect during spooky season!

A fabulous third installment of a great series! This novel follows a new member of the coven as she navigates romance, pregnancy, and pain. Romantic, dramatic, and everything I’ve come to expect from the series. Can’t wait for more books!

I didn't realize this was book 3 of a series but that being said I loved the book. I will do back and red the other 2 books.

This is my favorite, so far, in the St. Cyprian series! The relationship between Ellowyn and Zander will remind readers of the importance of following your heart and the need, in our hardest moments, to lean into love and let our protections go.

4.5 stars...first off thank you to Netgalley and the publishers of this book for the eARC. I am so loving this series and it sounds like there is going to be another book which I am equally excited for. I now have an emotional connection with all these characters so I must find out the rest of the story. This book was just as cute/cozy/witchy as the last two and I loved it. Would definitely recommend it to be read when it comes out in a few months!

2.25/5 stars! I was a little worried when reading the premise for this story, as it sounded like a rip off of the YA story Ella Enchanted. It did manage to be unique enough to avoid that. However, I didn't love the story. I'm not a fan of pregnancy tropes and it felt like Ellowyn didn't have anything going on that really deserved it's own story. Overall, was just bored reading this.

I received an advance review copy for free through NetGalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book is the third installment of the Witchlore series. It centers on the sarcastic, often standoffish half-witch and the pivotal role she plays within the Riverwood coven’s ascension to the ruling coven of witch kind. It features powerful personal growth within Ellowyn and it inspired me to be more like her by letting go of anger. The world building was incredible and very vivid. Hazel Beck’s story telling is enticing and engaging. I would highly recommend this for readers who like a bit of light fantasy and magic within the contemporary world. Thank you Harlequin Trade Publishing for the opportunity to read this ARC!!
