Thank you to Netgally, the publishers, and Sarah Vernon
When I requested this book I was unaware that it was apart of a series, one that requires you to read the previous books for this one to make sense. I am unable to read all the previous books along with this one before the publish date. Therefore, I will rate this a fair 3/5 stars and will adjust the rating and review when I am able to read all the books in the series along with this one.
In Sarah Vernon's exhilarating thriller, "Drawn to Murder," Sam Green, a recent art school graduate, finds herself ensnared in a puzzling and life-threatening mystery during her stay at an artist residency program in the serene yet sinister landscapes of Vermont. As Sam immerses herself in her artistic endeavors and attempts to forge new connections with her fellow residents, a series of unsettling events and cryptic occurrences stoke an underlying sense of unease. The discovery of a deceased individual propels Sam into the heart of a hazardous situation, leaving her no choice but to confront the growing dread within her. With each brushstroke, Sam delves deeper into a web of suspicion, uncertainty, and danger. She must rely on her resourcefulness and intuition to unravel the truth behind the unsettling circumstances surrounding her. As she navigates this treacherous landscape, Sam uncovers hidden secrets and uncovers fractures within the idyllic façade of the residency program. Vernon deftly weaves together elements of mystery, suspense, and psychological tension, creating a compelling narrative that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. Sam's determination to unveil the killer's identity before she becomes the next victim propels the story forward, maintaining a relentless pace that culminates in a heart-pounding climax. "Drawn to Murder" is a captivating and intricately crafted tale that explores the fragile boundaries between art, obsession, and murder. With a cast of intriguing characters, thought-provoking themes, and a setting that is both beautiful and unsettling, Vernon's novel offers a gripping and unforgettable reading experience that will haunt readers long after the final page is turned.

Good book! This book was about a group of artists at an artist retreat! Some items start to go missing from some of the artists, then a few of them are murdered! The main character has a background of amateur sleuthing and she starts to investigate! This book had light suspense, intrigue, action, murder, mystery, A great who done it and some crazy twists and turns! The storyline was interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! I definitely recommend reading this book as it was worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
