I loved this book. The illustrations were great and I liked, that all the scientists were named as well. The rhymes made reading really enjoyable. Everyone should give this a read, but especially all girls, who consider going into STEM and the women, who are already in it.
Yes! Yes! Yes! this is the book young girls NEED to have in their lives. What a great anthem to girl power and examples of women in STEM you have paved the way. There are so many options for that next required school project or biographical book report. Better, yet, get your boys this book, too, and teach them early to respect their smart female peers.
As a pharmacist, I only wish pharmacy was included in the book (this is now a female dominated STEM profession!), but overall such great examples and filled with diversity!
Thank you to NetGalley and Familius for the opportunity to read and review this advanced copy.
I wish books like this existed when I was a child in the early 1990s. I LOVE that not only did the author list some careers in STEM, the (super inclusive) list of women who did/do these careers.
I wholeheartedly recommend this to parents who want their daughters to know that they can do the dang thing too!
This is such a great children’s book and is such a great way to spark an interest in STEM for young girls. All the illustrations are so cute and the rhymes go perfectly. I loved the way they mentioned real life women in STEM. I only wish they maybe mentioned more on them.
Overall this is a great book for young girls and very easy to read.
An inspiring book with beautiful art! I am excited to read this book to my nieces, and to help families in the library to learn more about all of the amazing women that this book shines a light on.
This is such a lovely children's book to spark the love for science in young kids.
The illustrations are super cute. The rhymes were great fun. I loved the inclusion of real-life scientists with their names next to the drawn figures, I just wished there had been just a little more information on them.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher foe providing an eArc in exchange for an honest review.
As a women in stem, this book meant so much to me. I loved seeing the names of all the hardworking women and the girls looking up to them. I am so excited for little girls to be able to read this and imagine what they want to be without limits!
What a great book to encourage young girls to get into stem. I loved how in the illustrations they had pictures of different women in certain career paths in stem.
A cute book about women in stem! I liked the messages promoted here a lot and this would be a great book for children!
A glorious celebration of feminine empowerment. It’s a beautiful book to show both our boys and our girls how amazing women can be as leaders in our world.
We really enjoyed the last couple pages which showed examples of women who have accomplished feats in the field.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
In a world where so often we mainly hear about men in STEAM jobs, this book would expose girls to careers they could choose. This would be perfect for a Girl Scout troop, a career week or just a bedtime story.
The one thing I wish they had done differently is near each women in the book, give a description of what they did, instead of at the end.

The rhymes are fun and energetic and the illustrations are BUSY. So much energy, so many women doing science! After going through a series of adventures where you can see a wide variety of locations where you can do science, there is a list of real women scientists that readers can identify and then locate within the book.
I would highly recommend this for schools and homes.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
