I have really become immersed this series, since Robb introduced Eve Dallas and the crew. I’m not sure if Robb thought that she would have 59 books in this series, but they keep getting better and better. As I have read each book the characters development has become stronger and you really get to know not only the main characters (Eve, Roarke, Peabody, McNab) but the minor characters, such as Eve’s team of detectives, Feeney, and Sommerset, etc. I’m always excited when a new book in the series comes out and I can see what Eve and her team are up to. It is well-written, enjoyable, non-stop action, and a great mystery. Pick up this series and lose yourself in Eve Dallas’ world. In “Passions in Death” Eve receives a phone call that a death has been reported at the Down and Dirty Club. This club is owned by a friend of Eves, and she races down to find a dead bride to be. The bridal party is in shocked and can’t believe that the bride to has been killed especially since they were all celebrating and dancing. Eve needs to find out who killed the bride to be and will anyone else be killed. Thank you to St. Martin’s Press and Netgalley for providing me with an advanced reader’s copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Homicide Detective Eve Dallas hunts a killer who turns a wedding party into a murder scene!!
Good book! I definitely enjoyed reading this one! It had great characters, suspenseful, intriguing, murder, mystery, a great who done it and a few crazy twists and turns! The story was very interesting and kept me hooked! I definitely recommend reading this book! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

Feeling reeeeeeal lucky to have gotten the ARCs of Nora Robert's latest two books for back to back reading!

Did anybody else feel like some of the gang was missing in this one? I felt like we didn't get to see any Nadine, which was weird, and the tone overall definitely felt a bit different without the press angle running alongside the rest of the story. Other than that minor thing, I enjoyed it so much! These are always good, imo, and this is no exception. I'm curious to see where this series goes – being 59 books in, it feels like there's gotta be a point where there's a big change, right? I'll continue faithfully picking these up and devouring them in a sitting, but I'm definitely curious.

I've been a fan of this series ever since I was handed the very first book. I was unsure if I would like it, but I soon became invested in Eve Dallas, Rourke, Peabody, McNab, and Summerset.
I can't believe this is book 59! Passions in Death is a good addition, it involves the murder of a bride to be, and even though I wondered how it would play out, I was surprised at the end.
These characters have become family and friends to me, and I loved being asked to read an advanced copy of this book.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for selecting me to read an advanced copy of this book.

The In Death series just keeps rolling! Fifty-nine books and nearly thirty years in, and the Eve Dallas series continues to captivate this reader. I can't think of any higher praise than that.

*I received an advanced reader copy of this book from NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

It is already VERY clear to anyone who has ever read any of my reviews that I am a HUGE fan of J.D. Robb, and honestly, anything written by Ms. Roberts. This is the 59th book in this series and I have read each and every book. I ADORE this series. I was thrilled to receive the ARC for the latest book and couldn't wait to read it.

You can not be 59 books into a series and not love the world that has been built, the characters that have been developed and especially the theme of "found family" that is so prevalent throughout this series. Anytime I can jump back in and get to see Eve and Roarke, Peabody, Mavis, even Mira.....it's a good day.

This book was not my favorite. Which is kind of odd because the last couple of books have really raised the bar. This book is a quieter book - if that makes sense. It's not a crazy, dramatic case. There is a lot of back and forth as Eve tries to find the killer. So, the pacing seems a little off.

With that being said, I still LOVE any book in this series and enjoyed reading it AND, I am going to be eagerly awaiting number 60. Man, never thought I'd be typing that..... 60 books...

Wow.

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this ARC. The opinions above are mine and mine alone.

J.D. Robb delivers another gripping mystery with compelling characters and a twisty plot that keeps you guessing until the very end. A thrilling ride from start to finish!!

These books never get boring. They are just as fresh now as they were when the first book is written. Eve has grown a lot, as have the other characters. This book was all about the case. It had twists and turns. We really learn about each of the suspects. This book was very much crime driven. I devoured the book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

Many thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the opportunity to read Passions in Death by J. D. Robb who remains one of the best writers writing today. The books, stories and characters are always enjoyable but the character growth in this series could easily serve as a master class for other writers. 48 beezillion gold stars

This 59th installment of the series was thrilling, entertaining, and excellent. This novel was filled with suspense and was very to enjoyable to read. However, I found that solving the crime was a little too easy and a little unrealistic. Besides for this, I enjoyed reading this book.

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin Publishing Group for providing me with an ARC of this book.

This is the 59th novel in this series, which is an accomplishment in itself as this series is very engaging. The books takes place after one of the participants is murdered at a bachelorette party. This was a true mystery novel where the characters follow clues and suspects to find the killer. Overall, I really enjoyed this entry to the series.
