I loved this. 2024 has some really great books lined up to release and this is one of them. Feel good, fall read. I loved the development of the characters, the bonds. It’s a slow burn, but it’s worth it.
Hahn does it again. Golly, I loved this one! It. had everything I love- outdoor setting, saving a sentimental property, and blast from the past. But what really set this book apart is the way Hahn writes special needs kiddos. She handles it with such truth and honesty and care. From one special needs mom, this book gets my seal of approval!
This was a lovely feel-good romance with a cozy setting. The relationship builds at a believable pace, with enough character building to have us rooting for Maren and Josiah. I enjoyed the lake-side resort setting because it reminded me of past family vacations.
If I have any criticism it would be that it was almost too easy for Maren and Joe. They had a few bumps in their relationship but nothing to build a lot of tension.
I would recommend this book to romance readers who want a cabin vacation vibes, a lighthearted atmosphere with sprinkles of real-life struggles, and like a single dad MMC.
Review to come.
Love the cover✔️

New Author to me ✔️
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC ❤️
Well I went to the book blindly, I didn’t read any descriptions for this book and was so thankful that I got accepted to read it. It’s the brother’s best friend, single dad, small town romance; everything that I love to read. I loved the snippets of the past between the characters. In some instances I did hate her brother even though he meant well. The kids were absolute adorable. And Mare and Lucy’s relationship was the cutest ngl, the way she saw Lucy and understood her needs, spoke such a great volume. I think the author described the condition of Lucy so well, I’m no expert but I loved how it was explained.
A very sweet and wholesome romance! I loved the setting and character development, as well as the single dad & brothers best friend tropes!
I wish it was made more clear that this was part of a series before reading.
Catch and Keep by Erin Hahn is a fun and spicy romantic summer novel that captures the magic of new beginnings and nostalgic summers.
The lead character escapes to her cherished summer cabin resort. This setting is rich with memories of summers spent with her family, and provides the perfect backdrop for her journey of self-discovery.
The plot thickens with the introduction of her brother’s best friend, now a single dad of two, who still lives in the area. The chemistry between them is palpable and adds an exciting, spicy element to the narrative. Their interactions are filled with warmth and a hint of tension that kept me eagerly turning pages.
I will admit that I read this book in one sitting!
The characters are well developed and relatable, each bringing depth and authenticity to the story.
And the spice is verrry well done!
I Highly recommend this book for anyone looking for an engaging and uplifting romantic novel. I will definitely be on the hunt for more books by this author!
Thankyou to Author Erin Hahn, Netgalley and St Martins Griffin publishing for the opportunity to read this book ahead of published date.

I truly wanted to love this one but unfortunately I could not get into it, it was a little slow to begin with and it did not grab my attention. I did not feel the relationship between the characters. It was hard for me to get through. It did pick up afterwards but not enough to make it memorable for me.
Catch & Keep by Erin Hahn is a refreshing read. The story follows Maren as she returns to the Northwoods in Wisconsin after a proposal gone bad to reset. Once back in her home away from home, Maren runs into Joe, her older brother's best friend, and his two children, Anders and Lucy. Though they were not friends in their younger years, Maren and Joe quickly become friends and revel in having a friend and supporter as they navigate their own and their collective craziness.
I felt that both MC's were well written and readers got to enjoy a comparison of who the characters were to one another in the past and how their perceptions changed as they interact throughout the book. The relationship between Maren and Joe developed organically with no pressure from "outside" characters or major drama or miscommunication. Both adults have gone through their own relationship turmoil, and are aware of not only their wants and needs in regards to their relationship, but also people who are going to be directly impacted by their relationship (Anders and Lucy).
Alongside the growing relationship between the MC's, the growing relationships between Maren and Anders and Maren and Lucy show how much of an impact a supportive adult and role model have on a child's development. While the kids have a wonderful father and Joe does everything he can to put his kids first and meet their every want and need, Maren - and her dog - provide the kids and the entire Cole family with more love they did not know they were missing. Individually, Maren provides Anders with a place and partner to fish in peace, as well as with a little bit of maternal guidance and unconditional love he was missing out on. While hesitant with Lucy at first and not wanting to dysregulate and overwhelm her, Maren quickly became a staple in Lucy's life by providing her with various avenues for her to express her needs, regulate herself, and her comfort in times of need.
My one issue with the book is the repairing of the relationship between Maren and her brother, Liam. When Maren first made it to Wisconsin, Liam went to go check on her. When they ran in to Joe and the kids, Liam made a point to tell Maren that she can't fall in love with Joe. Throughout the book, Liam makes comments about how she is not good enough for Joe, that she is young (they are 5 years apart), she does not have her life together, she is unemployed, and that she is not what Joe, Lucy, and Anders need. At one point, Liam catches Joe and Maren together and loses it, making more negative comments about Maren. Joe is quick to come to her aid and supports not only her renovation of the cabin she inherited, her job leading fishing tours, and her position in his life and the lives of his children. A few weeks later, Joe proposes, and while Maren's family and friends are there, Liam calls her instead, shares his happiness and apologizes, and just like that everything is cleared up. Throughout the entire book, Maren is confident in her abilities, decisions, and place within the Cole family, but her brother definitely rocked her self-confidence and I felt that Maren accepted his apology too quickly.
Overall, Catch and Keep was a pleasant small-town, found family romance. I enjoyed author Erin Hahn's writing style and am excited to read her other works. I would like to thank the NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for providing me with this ARC edition in exchange for my honest review.
Maren and Joe are #couplegoals for sure. Their love story is a beautiful example of two people persevering through their individual struggles or hiccups to find something wonderful together. I think that this book has storylines that will appeal to many readers, and I found it to be the most engaging book of the series.
I really enjoyed this book overall, as it was an easy read that flowed very well. As someone from the Midwest, the author did a wonderful job of painting an idyllic picture of northern Wisconsin. The characters were down to earth and relatable. The story did a very good job of showing a realistic, if simplified, version of neurodiversity. The female protagonist’s story line is pleasant and empowering as it did not fall into the “damsel in distress” tropes. Thank you to the author and publisher for the opportunity to read and give my unbiased opinion.
Catch and Keep is like a warm hug and trip down memory lane. The books starts with Maren rejecting her boyfriend’s very public proposal, leaving her job, and escaping to her family’s childhood summer vacation spot in Northern Wisconsin. Maren received an old apartment and bait shop on the waterfront and decided to renovate it while she figures out her next steps. We are quickly introduced to Maren’s older brother Liam and his best friend Josiah (Joe). Joe is a divorced former Marine who has full custody of his kids and has moved back to the lakefront resort to take over the day-to-day management from his parents. Maren’s summer at the lake will change her life forever. If you like single dad, older brother’s best friend romance, Joe is the guy for you. It was beyond easy to fall in love with Joe because of the love he has for his kids but watching him fall in love with Maren was magical. There is slow burn romance (how else can Joe see Maren as something more than his best friend’s little sister), a not so great ex-wife/mother, and some light stalking references (not the MMC). If you have ever spent a summer at a lake as a kid, Catch and Keep will immediately transport you back to those summer days and will leave you feeling happy (ever after).
Loved this book told from dual perspectives. Maren and Joe have known each other through Maren’s older brother, Liam, and when Maren moves back to the area after inheriting a bait shop she decides to stay a while while fixing up the shop. Maren and Joe, who’s divorced, spend time together, and Maren loves spending time with his two children. As the two become attracted to each other, Maren’s brother tries to warn Maren away from Joe because he’s a single dad. Joe thinks Liam will be mad if he knows he’s kissed Maren but his kids like her and he knows he likes her. When Liam does find out the two have been seeing each other he’s not happy and says she’s off limits to Joe. When Liam realizes they care for each other he apologizes. Will Maren and Joe end up together?

4.5 stars
This was an absolute delight for me and just what I needed to read. Such a wholesome romance that also dealt with some heavier topics but I think this had the perfect blend of serious and contentment.
I really loved both MC's. Maren was such a great character from the start and loved her backbone and the way she let people have it (deservedly). She was independent and strong but also just wanted to really belong somewhere and feel loved. Enter Joe. He was such a cinnamon roll and admittedly made some mistakes in the past with his ex, but he was showing up on full force now.
Maren's brother, Liam, was a piece of work. Maren had a good backbone on her, but that can only do so much for you when you have someone who is supposed to support you but just condescends to you in a somewhat passive way.
But I loved the relationship in this and the way it developed it organically and NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP. I want to present every author who writes a romance without a breakup an award. I want to see exactly what was done here. Just a third act wrench that requires communication, maybe space if it's required, and some grace.
Would absolutely recommend for romance readers ❤️
This was my first time reading a book by the author and I really enjoyed it. I love how the story is told from both Maren and Joe’s perspective; it flows so well between them. I remember thinking to myself on one part that I want to know more and, of course, it delivered when I turned the page and got it from the other pov. I could picture the setting and imagine everything taking place. An adorable storyline with a few twists in there I wasn’t expecting. A good read!
I absolutely ADORED this book! I loved every character & I loved the details put into each character. Amazing job focusing in on details that everyone faces today and shedding light to autistic children and the differences them and their family face. I think this is very well written & I read it in 2 days only because I didn’t want to it to end and already was attatched to the characters!
I know everyone will dislike kiley just as much as I did and the last couple chapters & events just are the cherry on top as to why she is a horrible person!!

ps am i able to review on amazon or will it result in trouble for you? I’ve seen authors face issues because of people leaving them early or putting arc so I am trying to be careful! 💟
I LOVE this book 🩷🩷🩷
What a beautiful story of friendship, love and family. Josiah and Maren fall in love in a dreamy outdoor setting while his kids fall in love with her as she helps him navigate his single parent life. His kids, Anders and Lucy, are adorable and Maren’s ability to listen to and love them is just beautiful.
Her friends (who have their own books, which I will now go back and read 😉) are hilarious and help guide the two love shy main characters to their happiness.
This is my first book by Erin Hahn but it will definitely not be my last. 🥰
I devoured this book. Could not put it down. Exactly what I needed.
Backwoods, Wisconsin, friends to romance book. Joe is a single dad who is ex military. Dealing with guilt about his failed marriage, and the time he spent away from home because of his career. Living at his families lake resort, and running it. Living a fulfilling life with his two children, one of which has Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Maren flees her life after a proposal, and heads to her childhood summer “home”. The lake resort that Joes family owns, to fix up a tackle shop and apartment that was left to her from her old mentor after his death. The setting of this book is great, and I am slightly sad that this book will not be released this summer, as I do feel like it would be a great summer read, even though it does go through all of the seasons. So it could be read at any time to achieve the cozy feeling.
I have not read anything by Erin Hahn before, but I will definitely be reading more. She really wrote a sweet, emotional book that I loved. Recommend this to anyone who wants a good, breezy read.
Thank you NetGalley and St. Martins Press for e-ARC. Publish date Oct. 15.
I really enjoyed this book! By the second chapter, I was completely captured and couldn't wait to finish the chapters. I almost didn't want to finish the chapters it was such a great book! Seeing Joe and Maren's relationship blossom throughout the story was really sweet, and I love the way the author adds real-life words and scenarios to the pages. It sounded like I was having a conversation with my own friends. I mean we all know that they'll always be together by the end of the book (it's always that way) but it was such a great build up and execution. I'm excited to read more books by this author!
This book was amazing. When I first started the book, the first chapter was giving "young adult romance", but as I hit the chapter after that and continued reading, the more I fell in love. When things got spicy, oh man did they turn the spice UP! I am in love with this book and cannot wait until everyone can read it. The characters, the setting, the romance, it is all a culmination of a perfect book. I will be buying the hardcopy the second it releases, and I will be telling everyone to read it IMMEDIATELY.
