This is a very emotional love story between a married couple. It is very true to life. This is so real. I really love this second chance story. I love that it is not about a 20 something looking for love, but about what feels like a real life 40s couple. Adriana did an amazing job. My heart was hooked from the first chapter! 💜💙

Blown away! Another hit by Mrs. Locke! What an amazing twist on a second chance romance with a marriage in trouble. This book was so realatble and pulled on those heartstrings. 20 years of marriage isn't easy, but it is a choice to work on it and worth through it. The narrators knocked it out of the park with this one! This is a must-read!!

I received this as an ALC from Dreamscape & NetGalley.
This is the first time that I am listening to two new narrators. Amy Hall & Ryan Duncan. I have to say I really enjoyed them and I thought they were great in the dual narration. I felt the emotions and felt they brought the characters to life.

This story is about Lauren & Jack’s marriage that is in trouble. They have two teenagers who are not giving up on their family when the parents are thinking about divorce. They all find themselves at their favorite cabin and are force to deal with each other and communicate and see if they can make this marriage work.

Adrianna Locke has done it again. She knows how to throw those emotional punches. I love her writing There was laughter, tears & everything in between. I related to this book very much. Being married to my husband for 20 years I totally understand where Lauren was coming from. I also love to see Jack’s POV of the how he felt about their marriage being in trouble. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and I thought Adriana & the narrators all fit together so well.

A marriage in trouble trope can be so tricky to pull off...but my gosh Adriana did it justice and then some!

Lauren Reed has devoted her life to raising her children and supporting her husband, Jack. But somewhere along the way she lost herself and started to resent the freedom Jack seems to enjoy on the day. She has made the difficult decision to separate herself from their relationship and is finally doing things that make her truly happy and fulfilled.

Jack has tried to make himself scarce, every time he's in the same room as Lauren an argument takes place. So to keep her happy he stays away...but he never for a second considered she would contemplate a divorce.

Their children have a plan...a few white lies and all of sudden the entire Reed family is at their cabin in Story Brook.

I think that Adriana highlighted the struggles that all people go through as they grow and change throughout the years. As woman, society deems it appropriate to put everyone ahead of yourself -make sure the kids are happy, healthy and well adjusted. The house needs to be spotless, but you can't make it seem like it takes effort on your part...it's "easy." But Lauren is the perfect example of how these expectations can slowly chip away at you.

I also loved how Lauren was able to reflect on her short comings and Jack had this big AH moment. They both acknowledged they weren't innocent in things going wrong and they try to move forward...but that's easier said then done.

I listened to the audiobook as well as read the ebook. Amy Hall was spectacular, she conveyed such a broad range of emotions, you felt her anger in the beginning, her resentment, the rejection, the sadness, the happiness, the whole dang thing!

Adriana has written a story that is realistic and emotional. I found myself laughing out loud and wiping a few tears. This book reminds you to stop; be present, communicate, make time for each other and remember to live.

Lauren and Jack’s marriage is in trouble. When they are forced together they realize they’ve gotten so caught up in what they thought their roles were, they lost touch with who they are to each other. When they take time to communicate and truly listen to the other person’s perspective they learn it’s not all one sided. They just need to find a way back to each other. Their love is obvious throughout the book.

Maddie and Michael, their teenage children, and Pops are also very relatable. Whether you have teenage children or just need a quick reminder of what it was like to be a teenager, Adriana captured it perfectly.

This was my first audiobook narrated by Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan. They did a great job and even threw in all the little extras. I look forward to listening to them again.

Dual narration performed by Amy Hall & Ryan Duncan

* Marriage in Crisis • Second Chance • Parents of Teens • Small Town • Forced Proximity •

Boy oh boy was this book relatable! Not saying my marriage is in crisis (because it’s not), but the troubles Lauren and Jack were having and how even two people who deeply love each other can find their relationship on the rocks was all too real.

This book does an excellent job of highlighting how failure to communicate at all and assuming things about what your partner wants can do a lot of damage. An opportunity to step away from the demands of your daily life and being brave enough to be honest with each other is sometimes the first step to repair.

I loved how Lauren and Jack’s story is where a LOT of couples end up after 2 decades together and is an example of how you can make is through the toughest of patches if you both really want to make it work. (That’s not to say that all marriages that do end in divorce are because the people in them didn’t want it to work) Marriage is work, it’s a choice, and requires sacrifice and consideration. It’s so easy to play the blame game, but in Lauren and Jack’s case, they both had things to apologize for and changes to make.

This book made me laugh multiple times (the side characters were great and Jack making cheeky remarks reminded me of my own husband trying to break the tension) and brought me to the brink of tears. If you’re looking for hope that a marriage on the edge can be saved, this is the book!

This was my first time listening to Amy Hall & Ryan Duncan. They both did a great job! Ryan even added in all the sighs and huffs that Jack’s character does throughout. I would definitely love to listen to them again.

I haven’t read a book with the ‘marriage in trouble trope’ before, normally I read ones where it is a new relationship so this was different to what I’m used to, but that’s not a bad thing… I actually really enjoyed it.

Nothing But It All is about Jack and Lauren and their marriage struggles. These two used to be madly in love with each other, they couldn’t get enough of each other, but as years passed and the older they got and the more busy life got, the romance, the connection, love and chemistry between the two of them disappeared and they were basically strangers to one another. While Jack was off away on business all the time, Lauren was stuck at home looking after their two children and with that came resentment.

Lauren is at the point where she is ready to file for divorce. There is nothing between her and Jack and they basically just live like roommates. However, the children who are now teens and Jack’s dad have a plan to try and get these two to see and remember their love for each other, so they get them all together and take them to their cabin for a few weeks in hopes of healing this marriage.

I really loved this. It was good to see a different side to marriage, the true struggles in love and life, that it isn’t always hearts and flowers that it does take a lot of work to make a marriage work and that you have to continuously keep working on the relationship as years go by. I loved that they could both take accountability for the things they’ve done and said and It was beautiful seeing them find their love again.

All in all, this book was excellent. Very well written, highly recommend giving it a read! You honestly will not be disappointed!

Nothing But It All is a second-chance love story between Jack and Lauren. Jack and Lauren have been apart for over a year and now Lauren is ready to move on and now Jack is realizing what he is missing. This book was so good. I have to stay It hit a little close to home but it gave me a different view of how someone else feels in a relationship. A few times I listened out loud to see if he will take the hint 😂. Great parenting and co-parenting going on, setting limits both within the relationship and with those outside the relationships. The chemistry was so good between these two you can see why they fell in love. It was great to see these two take responsibility for what they did wrong and do their best to change. The narrators both did an amazing job. Great story.

They say, don’t sweat the small stuff, but it’s often the small stuff can make or break a marriage. When Lauren constantly finds herself alone and Jack is always at the office, she decides she’s going to move on with her life. Except her kids and father-in-law have a different plan. This story is so relatable because most couples
who have been married for a long time, might find themselves in this same predicament. While you are working on making a good home and raising a family, you tend to forget about working on your marriage and it takes both of you to want your marriage to work.

This book!!!!!! A second chance trope but with a marriage in trouble. It was so unbelievably real and relatable. Adriana Locke knocked it out of the park with this one. I was lucky enough to not only get an ebook, but also an audio arc. It was amazing! Mark off your calendars cause this is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️must read for 2024!

I did not expect to love this book! Having gone through a bitter painful divorce I was expecting it to be a difficult read for me. The fact that it came from an author who has not been through it is remarkable. This book got me in all the feels but in a great way. Loved her character development of the teens, they were devious in all the best ways. This ended up being one of my faves which is a great accomplishment given how much I love the Carmichaels! Narrators were fabulous but how could they not be when the story was so great.

Wonderful Story & Narration🎧Riveting & Heartfelt!

Nothing But It All
by Adriana Locke
Narrated by Amy Hall; Ryan Duncan

This wonderful romance novel features a later in life married couple whose marriage and relationship is in trouble and falling apart. Their children recognize this and team up with their grandfather to stage an intervention. It is a beautifully written story that is realistic with characters that are relatable and likable, so much so you are rooting for them by the end. Lauren and Jack Reed have been married for twenty years and have two teenage children, Michael and Maddie. Jack has his own business and puts most of his time in that, and Lauren feels neglected and unseen. She is unhappy with the direction of their relationship and her life, so she started to reinvent and better herself, even started her own business. Both are so busy in their lives that their life is passing them by and when they cancel their family vacation, the children got them all to the family’s favorite vacation spot, their lakeside cabin. Adriana Locke delivers a heartwarming journey of a once loving couple that lost their way and put in a position to find their way back to each other by their loved ones. I adored Harvey, Jack’s dad and their two children and their well thought out plan. This wonderfully plotted story captivated my attention and tugged at my heartstrings throughout the entire book. I loved how it all played out, there is plenty of drama, a touch of angst, heartwarming and charming moments, heartfelt emotions and a wonderful second chance of getting it right romance. Adriana Locke, thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧 📚🎧  Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life, and they did so with a complaint understanding of who they were portraying, giving each a voice that was fitting. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. Their versatility in their vocal range was remarkable, performing the voices from the young adults to the senior. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration elevated this already fabulous story to another level. Thank you for another fantastic listen.

I don't read a lot of romances featuring already married couples, so I was intrigued by the premise of this story--a 20-year marriage in trouble. Oh boy. Sounds like it could be an emotional read.

And it was. Definitely. Jack and Lauren Reed used to be madly in love, but somehow through the years, they stopped taking the time for each other and became strangers. Instead of love came resentment. Jack was gone a lot trying to get his business going, which left Lauren home to take care of the house and their two children. I empathized with Lauren and her issues with Jack. I get all the things she was saying to Jack and was nodding along in agreement, but I also could see where he was coming from, too.

Now, they are like two strangers living in the same house and Lauren needs to put herself first. She is thinking of filing for divorce. Jack is oblivious to this, though. Their two teenage children, Michael and Maddie, along with Jack's dad hatch a plan to get them all together in their cabin for two weeks to try to heal their marriage.

Such a wonderful and beautiful story of two people who still love each other but need to find their way back. The teenage children were great and adequately portrayed. I listened to an advanced listener copy of this, and the narrators were Amy Hall and new to me, Ryan Duncan. Both gave great performances and made me want to finish this story in one day.

Thank you to the author for an advanced listener copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Adriana Locke is an exceptional author. She often reaches my heart with characters that remind me of myself or others around me. I love how she writes family. This story about saving a marriage squeezed my heart. I had tears as well as smiled big. A favorite book most definitely!

Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan are excellent narrators. They both have smooth, easy to listen to voices. They brought this audiobook to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. Perfection.

Thank you NetGalley, Valentine PR & Literary Management, and author for the ALC of this book. This is my voluntary and honest review.

5 Star Review Nothing But It All by Adriana Locke
eBook/Audio:
Nothing But It All was a breath of fresh air from Adriana Locke. From the first chapter I was drawn into the story that she wove as Lauren and Jack Reed struggle to save their marriage after twenty years together.
When their children Michael and Maddie put their heads together with their grandfather to hatch a plan to bring the parents back together, neither Lauren pr Jack are aware.
Pushed into a family holiday at a lakeside cabin in Story Brook, Ohio, truths will be faced by everyone. This book was a realistic story line of a marriage that is tired. It was easy to relate to the characters and the struggles that have brought them to this point in their lives.
The narrators, both who are new to me, Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan did justice to the characters and the story that Ms. Locke wove. Their voices were easy to listen to and they brought all the struggles and passion to life with their performances.
This was a realistic, emotional story that got to me on numerous levels and had me in tears on a couple of occasions.
I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

Nothing But It All
By: Adriana Locke
Narrated by: Amy Hall, Ryan Duncan

WOW!!! I think Adriana Locke has captured the essence of marriage and parenthood. This book is fantastic, working through life as it comes and seeing just how much work it takes to keep the love on point and flowing. Meet Lauren. She is content as a mother, but unhappy as a wife. Always the one that keeps the house organized and moving along, she has faded into the shadows as her husband continues his business. Jack has worked hard to build his business. The garage is a success, but it's the one thing he knows and will keep his family going. He's not paying attention to the fringes which should be his focus and now it may be too late. The kids, Maddie and Michael are aware of the difficulties their parents are facing and what better way to get them back on course than trick them into vacation. With the help of Jack's dad, their plan is in place. But is it too late? Is there too much water under the bridge at this point? I loved this journey. It's relevant and realistic to so many people, and truly shows the meaning of love and nurturing a relationship. Locke doesn't sugarcoat any part of Lauren and Jack's journey. It's tough and painful, but the result is so worth it. This is a book that will stick with me for a long time.

Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan are perfectly cast for this book. Hall has Lauren down to a "t". The tired, beaten down woman who is trying to find herself and as the story progresses, her voice changes to the mood. Duncan is the frustrated and scared Jack. He brings out all of his fears and feelings as he tries to get back what he wants. It's an emotional story, and these two bring it all alive.

Holy shnikes this was good!

I am around Lauren and Jack's age (maybe a little older LOL) but their struggle is real. This story was a great story about turning your marriage around. Jack didn't even know about Lauren's feelings and I feel like that is so reflective of society today. Nobody talks anymore with texting and email. Having a conversation is hard and takes time. Busy adults don't really talk while they are working and getting the kids to things.

I could really relate to both Jack and Lauren in this story. I loved how when Jack realized how much his marriage was in trouble that he started to put in the work. I loved how he fought for them. Part of me wishes Lauren would have fought harder, but I also get throwing in the towel when you are exhausted from life.

This story was a breath of fresh air from the 20-something romance stories that are out there. I felt like this really spoke to me and I loved it. Ms. Locke has done an amazing job at taking a heartbreaking situation and turning it in to something positive and a brilliant love story. Loved it!

The narrators had me totally glued to my phone for this one. Listened to it all day and finished it in a day! Great story!

Lauren and Jack have been married for years and their marriage is in trouble. Lauren does everything at the house and for the family and Jack supports them, but isn’t home often and they do not communicate. When their kids find out that Lauren is considering a divorce, they conspire to get them both away for their annual family vacation. This story was more emotional than many of Adriana Locke’s books (but less so when compared to Sacrifice and Written in the Scars). If I had to describe this book with one word it would be real. This books show the low points of a marriage and how it can spiral out of control even though you still love your spouse. It also shows that rebuilding that bond takes seeing some very hard truths (on both sides) and wanting to do better, but that with work it can become better than ever. This is a fantastic and refreshing story. The narrators for this story were new to me and did a fantastic job.

Squeeze my heart! Nothing But It All by Adriana Locke was an emotional second chance small-town romance that proves that an open heart and the will to communicate can rekindle so much love. Adriana crafted a beautiful love story with Lauren and Jack’s journey to reignite the heat and fire in their marriage thanks to the help of their two crafty teenage children.

Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan perform this audiobook in dual narration. Both are new to me narrators, and both of their voices complimented Lauren and Jack perfectly. Amy’s warm, soothing tone captured Lauren’s guarded and conflicted persona brilliantly as she spoke her truths and her desires. Ryan’s affable, mellow voice gave hope and promise to Jack as he made it his mission to not give up on their marriage. Both narrators, built on and created that slow-burning longing and tension between Jack and Lauren.

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a second-chance romance with a hot dedicated hubby, a fiercely loyal mother, two meddling teenage kids, a devoted puppy, family traditions, small lake cabins, a nosey grandfather, grilling the perfect burger, relighting a deep love, learning to communicate, ice cream in bed, slow-burn steamy times, being there for family, and a HEA that is worth it all, then you will love Lauren and Jack’s story. I always look forward to more from Adriana Locke.

Adriana! This book! This is an emotional and heart warming marriage in trouble second chance romance. It will play rent free in my brain for a long time. I honestly wish I could read it for the first time again. The woman knows how to write a book that makes you feel every emotion. I laughed, I cried, I got angry and disappointed. She makes you fall in love with not only the hero and heroine but all of her characters. She puts so much depth into every one of her characters. The character development in this was unmatched. Jack and Lauren are characters you will easily connect with. You just can’t help but root for this couple, this family. The whole book is easily relatable. No one tells you the kind of strain having kids causes in a relationship. Or how when you become a stay at home mom that it becomes your whole world and you lose yourself and your dreams in the process because your whole life is your kids and your partner. This perfectly describes all of that. I never wanted it to end. It reminded me of what our priorities should be in our lives. It’s incredibly easy to lose sight of what is really impossible. It proves that love isn’t always enough in a partnership you have to want it you have to fight for it.

“I would much rather have imperfection with him than perfection with someone else”

Michael, Maddy and Pops made me laugh so much. I really loved the relationship that Pops has with his grandkids, they absolutely adore him. Towards the end this story really hits you in your heart. Overall this was an easy read with some emotional aspects to it but mostly it was light and fun. If you love an easy second chance romance then I would definitely read this one.

The narration was absolute perfection! They brought Lauren and Jack to life. I have never listened to either one but I will definitely be seeking them out for more!
Thank you so much for the ALC!
