Julietta is presented with the opportunity of a lifetime. She has the opportunity to expand her bakery internationally, but will she be able to withstand the strong stare of her brother-in-law's whose presence alone makes her question her abilities not to jump his bones. I did not love it but it was likable.

Not sure why I've continued with the series since the prior installments I've read did not really impress me. Found this read rather boring and gave up around the 75% mark. Sadly, this popular series is not for me.

From time to time I like to dive into contemporary romance. I'm a fantasy girl but, sometimes I indulge myself with some steamy read about a billionaire or a firefighter, biker, boxer, etc.

This book it's exactly what I needed right now.

It's super sexy the male MC is dark, sexy and brooding. Sawyer is powerful, hard working and absolutely dominant. Julietta is the exact same way. What happens when to 100% like minded, sensual people collide with each other? Fire that's what happens.

This books is super sexy, loved the whole setup. The ups and downs, everything was on point.

From the steamy sex scenes to mama's cooking I drooled the whole book.

I loved that we get to see some characters from past books and know how they are doing.

This an amazing, quick and sexy contemporary read, that will leave you wanting more.

Oh dear oh dear.
Last week I went through my Netgalley books and saw books I requested way back when I joined in 2012. I was like a kid in a candy store. I’m much more sensible now! So made it my mission this month to see how many backlist books I could read or listen to on audio.
This was one of them.

I enjoyed this book, not u inquest but written. Made a good cleansing reading palate from my usual thrillers.

Well rounded out characters.

It was a good book. Didn’t love it, but I liked it.

While it’s taken me longer than I thought to get through this book, I have to say I kind of loved it.

Filled with classic back and forth between two strong people, the need to run from change and grow from past mistakes or traumas, and how the love of family can hold even the most fragile hearts together.

Julietta and Sawyer are just that. I rooted for them, I cursed them, and ultimately...I fell in love with them. A great addition to this series, I guess it’s time to read the rest!

Yes, the book of spells is back in the final installment of The Marriage to a Billionaire Saga, The Marriage Merger,, only this time Julietta Conte is none too happy to about it. After being fed up with her sister’s constant nagging about this magical book of spells that is supposed to bring her the love of her life, she finally does the spell just to shut her up, and forgets about it. Surely it’s just superstition and would never work, right? Enter Sawyer Wells…HOT, sexy, suit wearing, alpha male, sex God extraordinaire, and we now have the beginning of a very fun, sexy, captivating showdown between two corporate power players who have no interest in falling in love.

“Time he realized he couldn’t get anyone he wanted because the angels bestowed him with the gift of hotness.”

From the moment these two meet the sexual chemistry and tension goes through the roof. Their attraction is instant, yet Julietta fights tooth and nail to stay neutral while Sawyer throws everything he has at her. He is used to getting what he wants, especially women, but Julietta is not his typical woman which is what gives him that extra incentive to make her his. Both of them admit to never mixing business with pleasure and while Julietta comes off standoffish and he comes off as a contender for the sexiest man alive, as a reader, you can just feel the sparks fly and cannot wait to see where the story goes.

“I want to discover every hidden secret of your body and a thousand ways to make you scream my name.”

Sawyer makes his intentions known from the very beginning. He wants her in his bed. Julietta quickly rejects him and tells him she has no interest in taking their business deal to the bedroom. Tired of her repeated rejection, Sawyer comes up with a proposition that Julietta cannot refuse, full control over their business deal in exchange for one night together. If she accepts, they both walk away with what they want. Even though Julietta longs for a man who can give her everything, she knows the deal with Sawyer, it will be just sex. One passionate night is all he is willing to offer.

“No Julietta, I do not believe in love. Never have. I believe in passion and lust, honesty and loyalty. I believe in hard work and sacrifice. I believe in enjoying the gifts of this world. But I do not believe in love.”

Sawyer’s words immediately made me wonder why he feels this way and why he is the way he is. We get glimpses of his past and soon realize that his past is dark, full of secrets, and for reasons he shares with no one, he doesn’t believe he deserves love or that he can give it freely. He is broken, or at least he believes to be. Yet, he has taken on the care of a 19 year old homeless boy who now lives with him and is his personal assistant. You see him be good to this young man. You also get his thoughts on his emerging feelings for Julietta and has no idea what they are or what to do with them. My heart ached when the story dove deeper into his past. My heart also ached for Julietta because it was clear that that one passionate night was not just sex. Both of them struggle with their feelings, with working together, and how to move on from that night. End of story right? Wrong! Here comes Mama Conte with yet another demand for an arranged marriage. After four books you would think that there cannot possibly be a reason out there for them to get married out of obligation. Well she proves us wrong once again and The Marriage Merger takes place. Neither of them are happy with the arrangement but they go along with it and agree to lead separate lives for the duration of their marriage. Fortunately for us, they can’t stay away from each other.

“I’m not spending night after night with an erection that won’t go down and a need in my soul to have you. You do belong to me, Julietta. Your body is mine for the taking, and I’m taking it tonight.”

Holy Hotness Batman! I mean Sawyer! Yes, he is that sexy the entire book. The story continues in the best possible way. Out of all four books, this is by far my favorite. It has all the elements for a fantastic summer read. It is funny, sexy, and steamier than an August day in Texas, yet it is sweet and sad all at once too. As we see Julietta let go of her fears and Sawyer open up little by little, we root for them to get their HEA. They deserve it. All our favorite couples from the previous books make an appearance and a boy named Wolfe steals your heart along way. I will keep my fingers crossed that he gets a book as well. This is a must read whether you have followed the saga or are looking for something to bring you out of a book slump. Jennifer Probst delivers a phenomenal story in The Marriage Merger

Thanks to the publisher for an Arc to read and give my honest opinion!

Wowsa that was a hot read! Sawyer was so hot. How many women can relate to Julietta? Women so smart and strong but can't seem to give up that control during sex's weakest moments. She pushes away all the right guys and ends up cold with the wrong ones. Sawyer refuses to back down knowing that the prize is worth the cost. Some slight BDSM but a sultry sexy read with two amazing characters. LOVE this series! Five stars of entertainment!

Sorry for the extremely late review, my father passed and it was hard to pick up a book for a couple of years.

The Book of Spells was making its magic again! Or is it Momma Conte who is truly responsible for all matchmaking in the Conte family? It’s hard to tell, though I have to say that Momma Conte has a very strong persuasive mannerism about her that none of the characters in this book can refuse. Just like Julietta’s siblings, she and Sawyer did not stand a chance. Both are stubborn, high-strung , and business minded who decided relationships or love for that matter is not in their future. But of course, Ms. Probst had planned other things for them.

I love Julietta and Sawyer. Their commitment to success astounds me. They are both very strong characters who have dark sides to them. Though this book is not depressing or dark by any means, Ms. Probst was able to add just a dash of it creating an edge to Julietta and Sawyer’s characters. She also made them the hottest couple in this series. After reading chapter eight, I was cyber-ly asking for a cigarette. Ms. Probst had brought in a little BDSM to the mix. I thought the dominating , and submitting was appropriate to the strong and controlling personalities Julietta and Sawyer have. It was a great symbolism to the breakdown of walls they had built around them.

There were several scenes with Momma Conte that was emotional in means of what her purpose is to this family. Her part of the story was a perfect way to end everyone’s story. Though, this is the last of the series, there will be a spin off which is scheduled to release November of this year. We will see the rest of the Conte family. I do hope to see Wolfe, the teenage boy who lived with Sawyer. He really made an impression on me. His character was of a nineteen year old , but by the end of this book; Ms. Probst had given him the transition from a teen on his way to man hood.

Overall, another great read by Ms. Jennifer Probst.

Another great read by Jennifer Probst!

I've been reading her books since she first published "The Marriage Bargain" in 2012 and I've enjoyed every book since. There is something about her writing that is so beautiful and fun to read. With in some great leading and supporting characters, Italian culture and some swoon-worthy romance you can never go wrong when reading a book by Jennifer Probst!

Julietta is the eldest daughter in the family and the one who holds the most responsibility. She is very responsible and extremely loyal to her family and their business and doesn't let anything distract her from it.

Sawyer is a very successful business man who has a bit of a tortured past. He doesn't let people in often and has some insecurities but he's also an alpha male who doesn't let anyone stop him from getting what he wants.

Sawyer and Julietta were perfect together! They brought out the best in each other and they really helped each other become the best version of themselves. They help each other overcome fears and heal some burns they've gotten in the past.

It was also really great seeing the rest of the family and catching up with the other couples. I love her mom who gives the best advice and truly loves her family with all her heart. These books give me so many warm and happy feels!

If you haven't already I'd highly recommend checking out this book and this series!

The Marriage Merger is the fourth book in Jennifer Probst’s Marriage to a Billionaire Series and is Sawyer and Julietta’s story. I am a huge fan of this series and have been dying to read this installment…and in true Jennifer fashion, she delivered a fabulous story!
As the head executive of her family’s bakery empire, Julietta Conte hasn’t made her love life a priority and with the louses she’s dealt with in the past, one can hardly blame her. Now, with her sisters all being married and convinced she needs to follow suit, she concedes to their requests to recite the love poem to Mother Earth that they has all done and are convinced had brought love into their lives. So, doubtingly, she does it. Not expecting much, she’s surprised when a business deal that would make La Dolce Famiglia an even bigger success, falls into her lap almost immediately after her spell was cast. Why is she surprised? Because the man with the offer, Sawyer Wells, evokes all sorts of sexual desires and delicious sexual tension within her. She soon realizes she may have been playing with fire when she recited those words. Now she just has to decide what to do with it…fan the flames or extinguish them.
Sawyer Wells has been through hell and back and has the scars to prove it…both emotional and physical. Now, he’s a man on a mission to make his mark on this world and in doing so pay back many promises he’s made to himself and the people who have helped make him who he is today. With his latest project, a merger of his new luxury hotel and the exclusive old world style bakery, La Dolce Famiglia, he’s one step closer to realizing his dreams. It hasn’t been an easy road, and he will remember every dark twist and turn along the road leading him to the uber successful business man he turned out to be. Now, those roads also lead Julietta Conte into his life and with the zing of sexual awareness like he’s never experienced before, he knows there is something special about her. But when she turns him down flat, he relies on the determination that hasn’t ever failed him to get her to admit there’s something more between them then just a business deal.
Sawyer and Julietta have a great many hurdles to overcome, both personally and professionally. They both have a lot to prove and can stand to learn a few things about love and trust and breaking down emotional walls. Will they be able to help one another and maybe find love along the way?
So as I had said, I am a huge fan of this series and I have to say that this is officially my fave in the series. Jennifer took a slightly darker approach to this book and I think it was simply perfect. Sawyer is the ultimate damaged hero…the type of hero I absolutely adore. His past is positively heartbreaking. There were passages that had me reaching for tissues and damn, if that didn’t make me love Sawyer even more. One of the things I loved most was that Jennifer didn’t display Sawyer’s past all out in the open at once. We got pieces throughout the story and bit-by-bit the puzzle of his life comes into focus. The reader was right there with Julietta as she tries to figure him out. He is a character I won’t soon forget. Julietta is 100% kick ass. Yes, we know she is a tough as nails businesswoman and can hold her own in the boardroom but what was nice to see was that she has a vulnerable side. She has many facets that round out her personality beautifully. Together, they are a fantastic couple. Both strong-willed and used to the take-no-prisoners approach, it’s great to see the push and pull between them and learn their individual weaknesses. The heat and chemistry between them is delish and the softer moments they share are some of the best I’ve read.
Also a treat was getting to see the whole cast of characters from the Conte crew! I love when we get to see where life is taking them all and enjoy a Sunday dinner with them and Mama Conte.
I know all of you Marriage to a Billionaire Series fans will adore Sawyer and Julietta as much as I did! Thank you, Jennifer, for another awesome read!
