Imagine a love triangle where your brother’s best friend breaks your heart, but his new teammate steps in, wanting to pick up the pieces—and boy, does he ever.

Say You Swear hits you with all the feels, from soul-crushing heartbreak to swoon-worthy moments, and a love that’s simply unforgettable.

Arianna has been in love with Chase, her brother’s best friend, for what feels like forever. She thought her future was set, but life throws a curveball (or should I say, a football?), and suddenly, Noah Riley enters her world.

And oh my Noah, this man is the epitome of book boyfriend perfection.

Let's talk Noah—"Baby, you beat out every woman everywhere, even in your sleep." Swoon, right? He's not just the dreamy football captain; he's the guy who cooks for Ari, knows her heart before she does, and will stop at nothing to make her his.

His gentle patience with her is pure magic. He says it best: “I’m in love with her, and if I’m right, which I hope to hell I am, she’s on her way to loving me right back.”

The chemistry between Noah and Ari is beyond. Their banter, their inside jokes (Romeo and Juliet, anyone?), and the undeniable pull that makes you believe in soulmates.

There's this one iconic scene where Noah grins at her and says, "If I'm Romeo, then you've got to be Juliet." And Ari, still clinging to realism, replies, "You know that was a tragic love story, right?" Noah’s response? "Epic. It was an epic love story!" And cue my heart absolutely melting.

But don’t be fooled—this isn’t just a sweet love story. Say You Swear has layers. There’s heartbreak, amnesia (yes, you read that right), and devastating loss that will make you ugly cry.

The way Ari loses her memory after a traumatic accident, forgetting her love for Noah, is painful. But it’s the way Noah handles it—his quiet grief, his patience, his unwavering belief that she’ll remember—that truly wrecks you. When she finally does, thanks to a letter from Noah’s late mother, you’ll be bawling right alongside her.

One of the best lines? “Sweet, Arianna, my Noah became your Noah, and honey, he was your everything, just as you are his.”

And just like that, you’re reminded that second loves can be just as powerful, if not more, than the first.

This book isn’t just a read—it’s an emotional rollercoaster that will make you laugh, cry, and feel. It’s not perfect, but Noah Riley sure is.

If you haven’t picked up Say You Swear yet, what are you waiting for?

And trust me, when Noah says "Say you swear," you’ll be swearing your heart to him forever.

give me a good sports romance book and I would devour it. Not surprise why Megan became popular on tiktok. I love the love triangle between Noah, Chase and Arianna, giving me American prince (sierra simone). Noah is that friend who has a secret crush on you since you were young but would keep those feelings to himself to keep your friendship, that how important you are to him.

This book was SOOOOO GOOD!! What an emotional roller coaster!! The angst was perfection!! The book does have a slow start, but then the pace picks up and gives you the conclusion that you are looking for.

A special thank you to Netgalley, Meaghan Brandy, and Sourcebooks Bloom Books for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Arianna and Noah. There is an instant attraction when they meet on the beach. Arianna and Noah go to the same college. Noah is the captain of the football team and a senior. Arianna is a freshman and a twin. She is very tight with a group of friends and her brother. They start hanging out together. Noah is teaching her how to cook. They each have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

This is one of my absolute favorite books. It took me a bit to really start to fall in love with the characters but when I did, I fell HARD. I am a huge fan of a good love triangle and this is one of the best ones I’ve read.

The angst 🤌🏼 it is SO good and is even better after the accident. Noah Riley is one of my favorite book boyfriends ever written - I fell so hard for him. The relationship that he and Ari had was the perfect college romance.

The last 15% had me inconsolable and I may never emotionally recover but that is my absolute favorite part of this book. The writing was hard for me at first but I genuinely was so attached to these characters by the end that it didn’t even phase me.

Highly recommend to all readers that love an emotional romance and/or a good cry!

Say You Swear by Meagan Brandy is an emotional rollercoaster that masterfully blends romance, heartbreak, and personal growth. This contemporary college romance centers around Arianna Johnson, who finds herself torn between her long-time crush, Chase, and the unexpected but deeply supportive Noah.

From the very beginning, Brandy hooked me with her vivid and relatable portrayal of college life. The characters are well-developed, with Ari's journey of self-discovery and resilience standing out as particularly compelling. Her struggles and triumphs are portrayed with such authenticity that I couldn't help but root for her.

Noah, the book's standout character, is the epitome of the perfect book boyfriend. His patience, understanding, and unwavering support for Ari makes him an unforgettable hero. The chemistry between Ari and Noah is palpable, and their slow-burn romance is beautifully crafted, making every moment they share feel significant and heartfelt.

The narrative is rich with emotional depth, tackling themes of love, loss, and healing. Brandy's writing is both engaging and evocative, drawing us into the highs and lows of Ari's journey. The plot twists and turns keep the story unpredictable and gripping, ensuring that we remain invested until the very last page.

While the book does have a slow start, it quickly picks up pace and delivers a powerful and satisfying conclusion. The emotional intensity of the final chapters is particularly noteworthy, leaving me with a lasting impression.

In conclusion, Say You Swear is a must-read for fans of contemporary romance. Its blend of heartfelt romance, relatable characters, and emotional depth makes it a standout in the genre. This book earns a well-deserved 5-star rating from me for its ability to captivate and move me from start to finish.

When I tell you that you might as well take my money for book two, I wholeheartedly mean it! I literally came home and yelled at my roommate for telling me it was a good book and I told her I hated her because 2 minutes before I shift at work ended the tragic pinnacle of the story hit, there was still approximately 40% of the book left to read and I was feeling like my heart had been ripped out through my mouth! This book dealt with some very heavy topics, not all in depth, but I think they were all handled beautifully! This was a book that hooked me from the beginning and kept me up reading until 2AM to finish it because I just could NOT get out of the story, and I could NOT put it down! I will likely be checking out her other series and reading them!

Wow, I didn't expect to love this one as much as I did! I'll admit the 681 page count scared me, so I pushed it off for a while. I'm so glad I finally read it, I blew through the pages! It is such a beautiful story of young love, family, and friendship. Many moments in the story reminded me of my cutesy young love moments. I truly adored this story and the entire friend group. Ari is so relatable on so many different levels. Cameron was hilarious and bestie every girl needs! Noah is now my new favorite book boyfriend. Dont get me started on Chase *RBF mode activated*. It had some spicy bits, some hilarious moments, and some deep and moving moments where I truly teared up. All of that greatness wrapped up in one book! The twists you won't expect, with an ending you'll adore... 5 stars all around!

I received this book from NetGalley and Bloom Books to read/review. All of the statements are my true opinions after fully reading this book.

RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
SPICE: 🔥🔥

NOAH RILEY. That’s it. That’s the whole review. This man is and will always be the standard by which all book boyfriends have to live up to. And he earned that place because he is perfection.

Look, I didn’t love some of the tropes in this book, but I got over myself because Noah is worth the read. He makes the book and it’s a hill I will sacrifice myself on.

TROPES ⬇️

✨ College Football
✨ He Falls First
✨ Cinnamon Roll MMC
✨ Love Triangle
✨ Memory Loss

This book is high angst and high drama and I am here for it, and I think anyone going into it needs to prepare to be caught in a love triangle that has only one clear winner!

Ari and Noah’s love for each other is what makes this book special. There are twists and turns to their love story, and it’s drama filled, but they are perfect for each other and with each other.

The way Noah truly sees and supports Ari is fantastic, and even if you want to punch some of the side characters in the face, it’s clear that Noah and Ari’s love can weather any storm.

I feel like this book is a sports romance right of passage at this point so go read it, just prepare for a bumpy ride with a spectacular payoff and a new obsession with the man that is Noah Riley.

This is one of the most beautiful yet heartbreaking romances I've read all year. Sometimes, when it comes to college romance books, it can feel a bit too "tropey," in my opinion. However, I felt the complete opposite with Say You Swear, and if anything, it felt like a breath of fresh air! Ari provided such a wonderful POV that I loved being in, and then there's Noah. He's quite possibly one of the best romance leads I've gotten to read about in a long, long time; I would also like to applaud Meagan Brandy for how she wrote the love triangle with a twist. I'm not a triangle hater, but this was the best use of the trope in a story I've ever read.

Thank you NetGalley for the arc!

Honestly, I don't really like the author's writing. And the story and characters are just totally unrealistic; it's clear that the author writes from a list of plot points she wants to hit without truly doing any world or character building. Just like an actor takes on a role and has to understand the nuances for how characters would behave in certain instances, author's also need to do this work to bring their characters and worlds to life.

I am beside myself and cant even can I go back and re start this for the first time again! I’m not always a fan of love triangles, but what really bothers me in them is the cheating. This book didn’t have that so even though it was angsty there wasn’t cheating. Also, Noah was the perfect hero. I mean, seriously perfect. So swoony. I’m also not always a fan of high angst books but for some reason, this one just really worked for me. Can we make more than infinity stars possible? because that’s what this book is to me. I literally want to live in this book forever. I want Meagan brandy to know how much this book means to me I will cherish this book forever. Noah riley and Arianna Johnson have my entire heart. I adore them with my entire soul. Noah riley I literally don’t even know where to begin with you or where to even end with you because I could go on and on about how perfect this man truly is.

Say You Swear is an angsty emotional story of first love. Noah Riley is one of the most perfect book boyfriends. He listens, he gets to know her, and he takes care of her. One thing I really appreciated about this book was that while their was a love triangle there was no cheating.

“I’m a smart man, Juliet,” he whispers, his gaze dropping to my lips. “Only a fool would let you go once they had you where they wanted you.”

This was honestly incredible and Noah Riley is everything and more and has my whole heart. Talk about book husband material and the absolute sweetest person ever. This one had me absolutely sobbing at points but was also one of the best books I’ve read.

The friend group that Ari has that is basically her second family is such a breath of fresh air in this one - even though there is a love triangle amongst them. Found family just gets me in the feels always.

“I’m in love with her, and if I’m right, which I hope to hell I am, she’s on her way to loving me right back. If she could, I’d need nothing else. Just her.”

One of my favorite books of all time!

This was such an unexpected book for me in the best way. At the beginning of the story I was anticipating the storyline going a certain direction but it surprised in the best way.

I loved Ari and Noah. They were such an amazing couple. Noah is one of my favorite book boyfriends. I won't spoil the story but his love and support for Ari is unmatched.

I want to say so much more but again I won't spoil. This book had me laughing and crying and had me hooked until the last page.

A beautifully written story with beautiful messages and themes underneath. I loved seeing found family aspects and assets of love that shined through from the characters and their personal developments throughout the novel.

Noah and Ari's story will bring you all the emotions that you can handle and then some you won't be able to handle. I was not ready for the heartache. An excellent college romance that you don't want to miss!

I hate to say but I almost did not finish this one. I did not enjoy the dialogue or the characters. The writing was not up to the level I expect from most authors. I felt the MMC was annoying and irritating and not in a "I want to know more" way.
