Gosh I wanted to like this one a lot more than I did. I think it went off the rails at some point and it became a little hard for me to suspend my disbelief enough to buy it, by the end. I appreciate the opportunity to read it and I hope to try something else by Meagan Brandy soon.

This book is so deep. It felt so real. The dialogue between the characters felt so genuine and real. I think Cam is as my fav. She’s the friend everyone needs.

Say You Swear is an angsty and emotional college romance. I’m not gonna lie, I seriously struggled with this one in the beginning, I found the characters and dialogue irritating. But I am so, so glad that I pushed through because Noah freaking Riley. I’m typically a dark romance girlie and love my red flag 🚩 MMCs. Noah is the complete opposite, he’s all green flags and book husband material and I could not get enough of him! Say You Swear had me swooning hardcore and feeling ALL the emotions. 4.5⭐️

This book was perfection and I loved it! It also left me emotionally wrecked.

I LOVED Ari and Noah!! They were such a great couple and I loved the way they communicated with each other. Couple goals for sure! And the spice was perfect!

This book was well written and well paced. A great collage romance! It kept me on my toes and definitely one I couldn’t put down once I started reading it.
Can’t wait to read more from Meagan Brandy!

Say You Swear makes a great summer read, which is perfect as the weather gets nicer here in Canada!

Can I just say, I love Noah! He has the biggest golden retriever energy and I lived for it. I also loved the cooking tips! I thought that was a very fun addition. There are some heavy and deep parts, so it's not only drama but I have to admit, there definitely is a lot of drama and angst. If that’s not your thing, this might not be the book for you. When things were good, I found myself waiting for something to go wrong but I enjoyed feeling on edge!

This book has so many great tropes. If you like brother’s best friend (a personal favourite), unrequited love, friends to lovers (another favourite of mine) and found family, Say You Swear is the book for you!

This book has been one I have looked forward to reading for so long! And let me say- it was worth the wait- but wish I had of devoured it sooner! What an excellent read that has taken me by a chokehold and has not yet let go.

I went into this book thinking it was going to be a sweet meet-cute with lots of smut. Now, there are some open door scenes, but I would not classify this is a smut book. I was first taken aback because the beginning and the characters seemed so immature! I was so annoyed with them and their completely unrealistic lifestyle. Not to mention, I felt like the was missing so much in the beginning. Brady would start talking about some characters and I would be so lost, like I should have read another book before this to get the history, but this is a standalone. So…. all of that aside, if you can get past about 30% into this book…. It becomes epic! One of the best love stories I have read! No words could do this book justice. The only thing wrong with it is it had the audacity to end. I literally want to live in this book forever.

HUGE five stars on this novel! For all the laughter, happiness, pain, sadness, shock, and anger I went through, this book will stay with me forever! Get your butt to the store and pick this up NOW!

I really enjoyed this book. It had some of my favourite tropes including friends to lovers and brother’s best friend. It was easy to read and I loved majority of the character. However, I was not a fan of how overprotective Mason was for his twin sister, and the book was significantly longer than necessary. Overall though, I really enjoyed this story and I look forward to reading more by Meagan Brandy.

This had some really great moments in it. I loved reading about Arianna and Noah's relationship grow from friends to lovers. They both really found comfort and love within each other. I felt for Noah deeply with his situation.

I really didn't understand why there were so many characters in the beginning it really threw me in a loop so I'm hoping it's setting up for book two. I also was not a fan of the love triangle aspect and wished there was a warning for pregnancy loss.

I can see why everyone recommends this book as it is heartfelt and emotional.

A story about young love, falling fast and fierce, knowing someone better than they know themselves, and always being there even if it hurts. So much drama, love, protectiveness, family, and desire packed into one story. Tropes I adore such as friends to lovers, found family, lost love, and PLOT. Oh, the plot. From the minute you pick it up to the minute you put it down, Say You Swear has you hooked. Not only that - the twists throughout the story that you DO NOT see coming, nor could you ever! Loved every single thing about this book. Say You Swear? I swear!

Say You Swear is a book that I cannot put into words. It was utter PERFECTION!!!! I love this book from the characters to the emotions it gave me throughout the entire book. This was written so beautifully. Arianna and Noah 🫶 are 100% part of my favorite book couples, I just loved how their story played out. Even if there were a few bumps in the road. Along with them, I love the other characters in the book (not Chase IYKYK😅).

After the third time reading this book, I finally decided to review it.
The story kicks off in a familiar setting reminiscent of "The Summer I Turned Pretty," with a group of kids who've grown up together due to their parents' friendships. They have a beach house they visit every summer. Our main character Ari, has a twin brother who's fiercely protective, warding off any potential boyfriends, including his best friend, whom she secretly crushes on. However, things take a unique turn when she meets Noah, the football team captain at their upcoming college. Noah is immediately taken with her, but recognizing that she is hung up on someone else, he opts to remain a very supportive friends. Over time, their friendship blossoms into a beautiful love story until a significant event rocks their world. I won't spoil it, but brace yourself for a surprising twist.
This book is undeniably long. The first part could stand alone as a separate book. Halfway through, a significant event alters the course, introducing another storyline. Despite some moments of cringe-worthy dialogue among the main character and her friends, the interactions between her and Noah showcase a newfound maturity, highlighting her personal growth beyond her close circle.
"Say You Swear" delivers an intense and emotional journey. While many books make this claim, the latter half of this narrative genuinely had my heart breaking. The unexpected turns kept me engaged and flying through the pages. However, rest assured, the conclusion is both satisfying and fantastic. Despite its length, I wholeheartedly recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance. It's a compelling read that shouldn't be overlooked.

The rare time when a love triangle works!
I really enjoyed Say You Swear! While I did feel it felt a little longer than it needed to be, the majority of the book I was very engaged and attached to the story and characters. I’d describe this as emotionally charged and angsty. I don’t typically reach for love triangles, but this one is done in a way where I feel like readers will be on the same page for who the front runner is. This book has one of the most perfect heroes I’ve read. He let her lead the way, and never pressured or influenced her (maybe even when he should have). The relationship development is so slow burn, with a solid friendship developed first and that’s my favourite kind of romance to read! I also really enjoyed the beach house setting, and the close friendships. A few times later in the story I was annoyed by how she and her friends handled things, and that is the main reason this isn’t a fully 5 star for me. A piece of advice? Get your tissues ready because Meagan Brandy will make you cry, breaking your heart and putting your pieces back together beautifully.

I knew this one was going to make me cry. I don’t think there’s much more to say besides PLEASE read this book!

This is a truly incredible story. Angsty, heartbreaking, romantic and so full of love. You won't forget. I swear.
Ari and Mason have a wonderful group of friends and family who have always been together.  Every moment has been with them. One night changes everything within her friend group when she finds herself with the man she's been dreaming of.  Only to deal with the pain it's caused later.
As time passes Ari tries to get over her heartbreak when Noah comes into her life. Having met him before on vacation at their beach home.
Things get crazy. People get hurt. Lives change and accidents happen. Not always making it an easy life after one life alerting night changes them all forever.
This is one epuc Romeo and Juliet type love story.    I loved every moment and I really hope this is a series because I would love to read more from these amazing characters.
One of my favorite books to date. 5 stars.

This book is so stinking good and takes you on an emotional roller coaster. I hated Chase so much and just wanted Noah and Ariana together. This story had me completely pulled in just from how much my heartstrings were being pulled at. This is one of those books I wish I could read for the first time again just to feel all the emotions Brandy put us through.
