This was entertaining and hot in spots. Typical NA: A couple with tragic pasts meet, fall for each other, keep secrets, have smoking hot sex, start to feel like they can't live without each other until BAM: secrets are revealed! Drama and angst ensue, they separate until one or the other realizes they were bone-headed in letting the other go and come back with (hopefully) some groveling to make up for the stupidity of leaving.
There was a little more to it in this case, Ms. Dawn's story is pretty engrossing, and there was a little twist in the end.

A beautifully written story.
Many thanks to Forever and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
This file is no longer on my Kindle it seems. Thanks for the opportunity to review this book though. I really appreciate it. If I end up reading it in the future, I will update this review.
Unfortunately, this book did not work for me. I found the plot very cliché and then a bit nonsensical, and the writing often came across to me as cloying. I wish there had been more depth and realistic scenarios here.
Nyrae Dawn is a great, Feely-Feely writer. She loves writing male characters, and it shows. Full of emotions and lovable, squeezable characters.
After reading this, I definitely want to read the other books in the series. Adrian and Delaney each have their own demons to face. Will they be able to overcome their demons and find happiness?
Nice Plot. I liked the relationship between Delaney and Adrian. I think it could have had more to it which would have made it a great tragic love story. It needed more emotion.
I unfortunately didn't get to finish it in time before it expired on my computer. Thank you to the publisher for giving me access to this book, and if I manage to read it in the future I shall edit my review accordingly.
I waited way to long to pick this book up and read it. When I first got it for review I didn't realize it was book #2, then I decided to wait on reading it because I thought it would be hard to follow without the first book being read. Well I was totally wrong and I don't know why I wait so long to read this. I fell in love with the characters and story right away and was roped into the book. I likely could have read it in one sitting if I didn't have other "life" things to do, darn life gets in the way of reading all the time.
The story flows pretty well without leaving too many lulls that get the reader bored. I found that the characters could have had more depth but I really could feel for them and really liked the characters. Both Dalaney and Adrian lived with some very dark secrets that haunt them daily. I was getting upset with Dalaney for leading Adrian on and not coming clean about what she knew about him. Little did she know that Adrian had more secrets that she didn't know. I didn't actually see it coming until closer to the end of the story. I found myself wiping tears away from my eyes at the end.
I give this a 4.5 out of 5 stars and I look forward to reading more by Nyrea Dawn.
