It starts out with and avalanche in which the brother buried in the snow is confronted by a decaying body of a person. Next, a distressed mother needs assistance with finding her missing college student son. The law enforcement problems continue to multiply and the interpersonal issues just about keep pace with the work related issues. But the K-9s reign supreme over all. Loved it!
I requested and received a free temporary EARC from Harlequin - Romance, Carina Press via NetGalley. Thank you!

This is a Romantic Suspense, and this is the third book in the National Forest K-9 series. I have read the first two books in this series before picking up this book, but I do think you can read this book as a standalone. I loved the characters in this book. I loved the action and the suspense in this book, but the drama that was going on in the background was a little bit too much. I enjoyed reading this book. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

Thank you to Harlequin publishing for approving this for me. This is readily a 5 star for me. It begins with an avalanche described so well I caught myself holding my breath. Just when I think I know who the bad guy is I change my mind and at the end I'm still wrong. Fell asleep 2 nights I'm a row reading this because I couldn't put it down!

Oh wow! Loved this book! Suspense and intrigue heavy enough to keep you flipping the pages long after your allotted reading time.
Forest Service Officer Maya and her K-9 dog Juniper are sent to another county to assist investigating missing teens. What she uncovers puts her in the crosshairs of the killer! Great job Kathleen Donnelly for another hard-to-put down book!

Killer Secrets is a book with many secrets! The twists and turns keep the story moving quickly, and the intensity is strong. Issues like trust, PTSD, mental health, and addiction are handled well and keep the characters real. I especially love the K-9 Juniper! While this could be read as a stand-alone, there are some continuing threads throughout the series that tie the books together and move the story forward. I loved this book! I recommend reading all the books in the series, and I eagerly look forward to the next book!

They get a bunch of help from the local sheriff the FBI and a few others but some of the help seem very shady! When some of the evidence gets linked to some deaths in other ski towns long buried secrets start to get unearthed! Maya quickly gets the attention of one or more of the serial killers! This book was very exciting! It had great suspense, intrigue, action packed, murder, mystery, a fantastic who done it and some crazy twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! I highly recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me! I can't wait for more!

Murder, mystery, betrayal, lies, woven into a taught po.ice investigation with a strong and very human team. Important issues like trust, dysfunctional family, mental instability, PTSD, and addiction are handled well and threaded through the investigation, Best part, yes the dogs are the real stars.

This book is fantastic!!! Forrestry Service LEO, Maya, is happily living with her boyfriend Josh and enjoying her job and K9 partner, when her foundation seems to crumble. She learns that Josh has been keeping secrets at the same time they learn a serial killer is in the area.

Maya takes on the investigation, but is repeatedly thwarted, leaving her K9 as the only one she can trust. Before long, she's in the fight of her life.

I love the characters in this series. They're imperfect, but filled with heart. The author made them come to life on the page and made me feel invested in their story.

If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. While part of a series, this is a stand alone novel, however it's so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.

Killer Secrets, what an intense story that had me hooked from the beginning. Kathleen Donnelly’s third book in her National Forest K-9 series, kept me engrossed throughout the entire book. It is an excellent mystery with several twists and turns, personal drama, adrenaline, and suspense. The characters are wonderful with Maya, Pops, Josh, and of course, Maya’s K-9 partner, Juniper. To a certain extent, it can be read as a stand-alone book, but there are references to the first two books in the series so I recommend reading all three of them! I look forward to the next book!
