This was a fun interesting read about the history of the Houston Astros and the players, old and new that helped make the franchise what they are today. I am a baseball fan so I recognized a lot of the “big” names that I grew up watching, but as a someone who is fairly unfamiliar with the franchise it was interesting to get a glimpse into some of those players I wasn’t aware of. I enjoyed that this book spanned multiple time periods and used stats as well the gravity with which the player played. I would recommend this book to anyone who is or was a baseball fan. It was fun getting to read about some of the players of the past and what they meant to this franchise! I will keep an eye out for similar books to this format as it was very well written!
