Such a better sweet end to Millie and Enzo’s story! The first half was a little slow but the second half I was flying through the book and finished it in 2 hours. I did guess part of the twist but I didn’t guess the ending!

Quite simply, this might be my favorite book of the series. The character development continued in this book was everything I was hoping it would be after the ending of book 2. The twists throughout the book kept me guessing as they usually do in her books. If you've read and enjoyed the other two books then be sure to check this one out when available.

I absolutely loved this book. I finished it in less than two days I just couldn't put it down! I was so excited to continue Millie's story. Usually the third book in a series is a flop but this is not one of those series. Freida McFadden is an amazing author and I highly recommend any books that she has written.

Wow!
The twist and turns this took you down. I will admit, I thought the Maid's story was over as soon as Enzo explained what he did. Until the Epilogue. And though this part I did guess after a few hints, still a good epilogue.
Enzo and Millies dynamic could have been more powerful but was still ok.
The story line and plot twist had me crying. Yes the first time I cried in a Freida book. The emotional rollercoaster was unexpected but well worth the read!
It's helpful to have read the other 2 but not necessary can be read as a standalone.

Amazing as always . I can't believe the twists and turns. This story was more than I could've wanted

I was stunned to receive this ARC and couldn't wait to read it! Immediately I was drawn in, and I was surprised of how humorous I found this book. I think part of it was having the history with Millie and Enzo. I was just so invested in their story! This book was so well written and I was thoroughly shocked by the twists throughout. This is a must read! I need another housemaid book!

Thank you Freida McFadden & Poised Pen Press for letting me read this ARC in trade for an honest review!
Our girl Millie is back and she is living in the neighborhood! I love how this book is fast forward to Millie roughly 15-20 years later with a family of her own. When she moves with her family to Long Island she is so excited to move into her new beautiful home in a “safe” neighborhood on Long Island.
Upon Millie’s arrival, she is greeted by Mrs. Lowell her new next door neighbor who invites Millie’s family for dinner. When they arrive Mrs. Lowell’s maid answers the door and the dead stare she gives Millie incites a chill down her spine! Afterwards, Millie meets another neighbor who warns her “Be Careful of Your Neighbors.” Millie starts to experience odd situations and always has the feelings she is being watched. Did she really make the right decision moving to this new neighborhood or is she in more danger than she was before?
Freida McFadden does it again writing a fast-paced, action-packed thriller. I was on my tippy toes the whole time and couldn’t put this book down, I read it in 2 days! This is such a great final adventure to The Housemaid series and Millie comes back as great as ever! I highly recommend this book and am so excited for others to read it when it comes out in stores!

Holy wow. First off, I’m so lucky to have been chosen as an ARC reader for The Housemaid is Watching. I was ecstatic to get some more of Millie and Enzo. The plot was superb and the twist were astounding! I can’t wait for the release so everyone else can read this! Thank you to Freida McFadden, Poisoned Pen Press, and NetGalley!

Thanks to #NetGallley and #Bookouture for the book #TheHousemaidIsWatching by #FreidaMcFadden. I absolutely love this book along with the previous two. Millie and Enzo are the ultimate couple and now parents. They move into a house in a nice neighborhood and things start going awry. It seems like trouble is always following them. Can they escape this craziness? I hope there will be a fourth installment to these two crazy but loving people.

Freida. Freida. Freida.
First off I start by saying I give this book a 4 star.
1. This was a good solid read. Yes, I did predict many parts. But I didn't lose interest. It kept my kindle finger clicking.
2. I think I have unacceptable expectations for the Housemaid series. While I understand why you went with kind of a Millie is retired approach I almost cried. I wanted Millie and Enzo to join together and continue their work.
3. I did predict the Daughter did it, I knew something was sketchy with Mr. Lowell he was to much of a background character to be innocent!
4. I love that we now added another Housemaid, Martha! She knew about Millie and maybe she will continue the work they did.
5. The brother was definitely misleading at one point I did think he killed Lowell, but that quickly faded.
6. I loved that you added in some of the real signs of abuse so it was easy to catch onto.
Overall a 4 star read! Thank you so much for the ARC.
Let's add.....
I thought I’d left my darkest secrets behind. But could this quiet suburban street be the most dangerous place of all?"
This was good! Book 1 and 2 I gave a 5 star. They are easily some of my favorite thrillers. I can tell you I enjoyed this and gave it a 4 star review.
This one threw me for a loop as in I went into it kind of expecting it to be JUST LIKE the other two. You know me being selfish and not wanting Millie to "used to clean people's homes." Not giving away anything there lol. But I did enjoy the new storyline that it followed. I didn't care for the Lowell characters but I know that was INTENTIONAL. So definitely kudos on that.
I think I also want Broccoli back still :( 🥦
I'm still mad about it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
I laughed at the subtle references that she threw in here from some of her other books. If you didn't catch that. You missed a laugh.
Are you team Enzo or Broccoli? I just wanna know..... 🤪😜
Thank you for the ARC I enjoyed reading and reviewing this.

THE HOUSEMAID IS WATCHING ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. Not sure if this book was necessary, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. Millie is back! With a time jump, she and her husband and kids move to the Long Island suburbs to the house of their dreams. They soon discover that their house that they got for a discount comes with some odd qualities, most importantly the busybody neighbor, and the odd couple next door. In true Freida form, with 80 quick chapters, you won’t be able to put it down. Our girl Millie is as curious as always, and now in a motherly form. Loved this full circle moment book! Thank you for the ARC NetGalley and Sourcebooks for the ARC!

What an unbelievable twisty and exciting read. I have enjoy the previous housemaid books however this one is my favorite. I kept thinking I had it figured out but was oh so very wrong!

a HUGE thank you to @mcfaddenauthor & mandy @poisonedpenpress for giving me an arc of freida's new book! when i saw the email yesterday, i screamed! never did i think i would be getting arcs for my favourite thriller author! it was a pinch me moment! still doesn't feel real! 🥹
ofc i started AND finished this in the same day (night really Al) we follow millie on her adventures once again.. except now, we're over a decade ahead from the last housemaid book. millie has everything she dreamed of.. a handsome husband, two loving children & their dream house!
millie and her family have just moved into their dream house on locust street. everything seems to be perfect & exactly what millie wanted but she can't seem to shake off this nagging feeling.. her neighbours are strange. everything about them doesn't sit right with her, even their maid seems strange..
if i'm being totally honest, i didn't know what to think before i went into this. im not used to thrillers being a series & with this being a now 3 book series, i was thinking how is freida going to do something different with millie this time round. but of course, it's freida. i should've known i wouldn't have expected the plot twists!
freida very cleverly makes you believe a certain theory as you're reading this and when the plot twist is revealed, you think "wait, what??!" (as she does with all her books) although, the plot twist wasn't as mind blowing as i thought it would have been!
i definitely still prefer the first two books but this was really good! i loved seeing old characters resurface! i would definitely recommend reading the first two books before you go into this as they give you a really good idea of who millie is & why she is the way she is.
'the housemaid is watching' releases on june 11th so mark your calendars! 🤍

I read this after getting the ARC (so thank you very much publishers) yesterday. I picked it up straight away and have just finished it.
It's a very well written conclusion to the series and I loved the new characters and how seamlessly they all fit together. Millie's life years after the end of book 2 is so interesting and I felt so invested.
I truly flew through part 2 of the book and very much didn't see any of the ending coming. And in true Freida style. Everytime I thought I knew what was about to happen, she completely threw a curve ball. Outstanding

Thank you to NetGalley, Poisoned Pen Press, Bookouture, and Mandy Chalhal for this first read!
Freida McFadden NEVER ceases to amaze me with her books. This book was intense. There was a lot of build up, to a COMPLETELY unexpected ending. I am always bewildered by Freida’s books, and the endings are always something I can’t even predict. There was so much action, the characters were great, and the plot, as always with her books, was fantastic. I will read as many books as Freida puts out, I am such a huge fan. The amount of times my jaw DROPPED during this novel was crazy. So many unexpected turns, and to someone who never predicts endings, I was shook. I binged this whole book in one sitting, because, much like her other books, I simply could not put it down.
Although if there was one thing I could change about this book would be the abrupt ending. Everything went down, and I feel it was just like “alright, that’s all.” There wasn’t much after that. It obviously does not affect how I feel about this book, because I still LOVED it, I just wish there would’ve been a bit more wind down after all the action.

3.5 rounded up to 4 stars.
Overall, I thought this was good. The first half was pretty slow, in my opinion, but the second half was good! It had the usual Freida twists that I didn't guess. There's a part in the book that says "The third in a series usually isn't that great.." that made me laugh. This wasn't my favorite, but if you liked the other 2 Housemaid books, then definitely give this a go.

I absolutely loved the first two books in this series and was hoping for more of the same. but this story was completely different. Instead of playing an active role in events, Millie appears to be a helpless and confused bystander most of the time. There were lots of different threads and I felt the story didn't really come into focus until 65% of the way through. After that it gallops along to a conclusion that left me feeling very bemused. I'm all for creative interpretation of reality, but this was pretty unbelievable. I'm sure hardcore Freida fans will devour it but it didn't work for me.

I enjoyed the clues that served as distractions from the ultimate twists at the end. I thought I had it figured out but I did not.

When I read a book series, I don't expect to love each book just as much as the last, but that is what I got so far with the Housemaid Series from Freida McFadden! I loved them all! THE HOUSEMAID IS WATCHING is a slow-burn story. I liked that this one is centered around Millie and Enzo's children. Once I got to the halfway point of this book, I was glued to the pages and couldn't put it down. Of course, I had my suspicions as to where this story was headed, but once again...I was clearly wrong. I especially liked the ending. I can imagine another book being added to this series in the future. If you enjoyed her previous housemaid books, you will like this one too!
Many thanks to BOOKOUTURE and NetGalley for my gifted copy.
This review will be shared to (@coffee.break.book.reviews) closer to publication date.

It was easy to pick it up since I already knew the main characters from the first two books. This was a little slower of a burn than I remember the first two books being. About halfway through I couldn’t get through the story fast enough. The second half was wild and twisty; the twists got me, "wait, WHAT?!?!".
I loved seeing where Millie has ended up after all these years; married to Enzo with two kids.
I really enjoyed this book and would most definitely recommend for anyone who is a fan of the other Housemaid books, It’s a page turner, will have you hooked and keeps you guessing until the end.
