One of the books we have all been waiting for. The housemaid is back and then you better watch your back.

The first part of the book was slow paced. Millie was of course one of the main characters, but I sometimes felt like where is Millie? She is a few years older now and maybe she had lost a bit of her spirit, but fear not. When needed, her fierceness resurfaces. Yeah. :)

I felt the tension rising with each chapter I read and the story went from strength to strength. I was almost certain I knew who committed the crime, but alas I did not score any points. :)

Millie is funny, Enzo is wonderful and I loved the bond between Ada and Nico. If one day, Millie should retire, the succession is assured.

The third book has a different set up than the two first ones, but the fact remains that it was very enjoyable and the author is an amazing story teller.

So yes, I am a very happy reader and very grateful for being invited into Millie's life again. 5 stars.

Thank you

Freida does it again. I thought I had this figured out but oh man was I wrong! I loved this series and would probably say this was my favorite of the three. I enjoyed the story of Millie and Enzo and what their life had become. I could go for many more books about Millie and her stories.
It’s amazing how you truly don’t know the truth in this till the very end…
Hoping to see more of Millie in the future and would be so sad if this is the last of the housemaid series. Thank you NetGalley and Freida for allowing me to read this early. I loved it and could have read it in one sitting if it wasn’t for work!! If you’re on the fence about reading it, do it. I also do not feel like you have to read the second one to read this one. There’s a few things you might have to figure out but you can do it

I am a huge Freidah Readah. She is the queen of easy, fast paced reads with one or 2 crazy twists in.
The Housemaid is one of my favourite thriller books to date, and I recommend it to everyone. The Housemaid's Secret, Book 2, is also equally as good. So when I saw there would be a Book 3, I was giddy with anticipation.
I loved the opening prologue- I made friends jealous showing them the first line! It was fantastic to see where Millie had ended up years after Book 2.
This is everything I hoped for. The pacing was a little more of a slow burn at the start- but it was still compulsive, and I knew there would be some OMG moments to come...
Wow. I gasped and dropped my kindle at some of the twists.
The second half is a wild, crazy ride and I read it in one sitting. It was gripping, shocking, and simply stunning with the brilliance and complexity of the ending.
My favourite Freida of recent books. I loved it.

I’ve said this before and I will say it again, Freida McFadden is the master of psychological thrillers! Getting to read this book early has been a dream and this book is just as binge-able as the previous two. This book is set 11 years after the earlier books and is an exploration of Millie’s life as a mother of two in a new neighbourhood where something seems just a bit off about her neighbours. The Housemaid is Watching is a book packed with plot twists, some of which I was able to guess and others that came out of nowhere. Even with being able to guess some of the plot twists I still very much enjoyed this book and getting to see Millie, her family dynamic and some characters from the earlier books!

WOW!! Freida has done it again! Absolutely loved the book! Just when I thought I had figured it out, Freida proved me wrong. Finished this in one sitting as I could not put it down.

Oooof! That twist at the end gave me goosebumps! It didn’t have me at the edge of my seat like the first two but I love the characters and Freida and was overall a fan of the third installment.

My Review:
Loved, loved and more loved!!!!! What didn’t I love about this is the real question. This one kept me up all night long swiping the pages so fast that I thought my finger was going to fall off. I had to finish it and fast. This author quickly became one of my favorites after I read the first book in this series called The Housemaid. She had me hooked after that and I just knew I had to start reading all her books. I’ve only finished a few so far but I’m determined to keep on going until I’m done. This series started off with a bang and it just keeps getting better and better with each passing book. This one has to be my favorite so far though. Each character has shown so much growth from the first book. Don’t worry though they haven’t changed too much. They are still the same old characters at heart from the first book that we all loved and got attached to. Now let’s talk about my favorite part, the ending. Wow and more wow. My jaw dropped. It left me totally speechless. There were so many twists that I didn’t see coming. This author is amazing and everyone must read this series. It’s awesome. I can’t wait to read more books by this author. In fact, I know her next book is coming out in October called The Boyfriend. I also know that I will not be doing anything else that day besides reading that book. I know it will be just as good as her other books I have read.

In conclusion, the plot, the characters and all the twists in this book made this book an enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another excellent Freida book! The Housemaid is Watching was a great addition to The Housemaid series. As with all of Freida’s books, it was full of twists, turns, and surprises I didn’t see coming. I loved reading more about the adventures of Enzo and Millie! ❤️

5 STARS!!!!

Probably one of my top 5 Freida books. This novel kept me on my toes and was one I could NOT put down. I cannot wait for June for readers to be able to read this continuation of the Housemaid Series. The twists were jaw dropping, and I only guessed one of them (guessed it on the page before THE PAGE!!!). Thank you Freida, Mandy, Jess, and the rest of Poisoned Press

Frieda does it again! The latest installment in the Housemaid series, The Housemaid is Watching, is a remarkable addition to the series. While the beginning may seem slower paced, it is merely setting the stage for a shocking and unexpected twist that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. In order to appreciate all the past references that Frieda scatters through the book, I highly recommended reading the first two books in the series before diving into this one!

I was fortunate enough to get this #arc. In this book Millie is married and the mother of two. Her dream is to own a home in a great school district and a safe place. Seems normal enough and is amazed when a great house is available for under asking even if the mortgage payment will stress an already tight budget. Moving into the new neighborhood isn’t quite as easy as Millie and her family hoped and the adjustment isn’t easy. One neighbor is paranoid about the safety of her son and the other is childless and seems to hate children. Not quite the neighbors Millie was hoping for. Now one of the neighbors is dead but who killed him and why? Per usual there is a twist to the story and while I usually am blown away by the twist and find it my favorite part of the story this one left me a tad dissatisfied for a reason that I’m afraid would be a spoiler if I were to say. Overall the book is a satisfying read but as Millie is married with children and a job at a hospital I could see this being the end of the Housemaid series. Will it be? I don’t know but if it were to be it would end on a high note.

Another jaw dropping mystery by Freida McFadden. ‘The Housemaid is Watching’ was an unputdownable page-turner that will leave you speechless at the end.

This book takes place 10+ years after the Housemaids Secret - when Millie and Enzo move into their dream home “on” Long Island with their children.

Shortly after arriving, Millie meets her cul-de-sac neighbors and realizes they are all a bit mysterious… She’s also positive the maid (who is always watching her) is for sure hiding something. There’s problems with her children at school, and every time she turns to her husband for help, Enzo is always MIA. Millie begins to wonder more and more each day if this move was a huge mistake.

It’s not long after when Millie realizes she cannot trust ANYONE, as she makes some shocking discoveries herself.

I absolutely devoured this one! A absolute perfect ending to this series with tons of twists and “OMG did that just happen” moments.

This book will definitely become the best selling book of the year! It is absolutely fantastic and I will definitely be recommending this to every single person I know!

Where do I begin! I am so grateful for the chance to read The Housemaid is Watching, before it was released to the public. The Housemaid is actually the first book of Freida’s that I had read, that got me hooked on her books! With that said, I was thrilled to see there was another book! This had me guessing from the very beginning. As soon you *think* you have it all figured it out, the next chapter proves you wrong. This 100% kept me turning the pages, I just could not put it down , I HAD to know the end result. With each twist there was a new story / situation. Literally I have never read a book fast enough. You did it again, Freida! My jaw hit the floor multiple times. Well done! Can’t wait for the next book!

The Housemaid is Watching is a page-turning thriller. I absolutely could not put this book down. It had me sucked in from the very beginning. Frieda did it again and left me guessing the entire book. The plot, the characters, and the twists. I always have theories when it comes to thrillers, but I can promise you I did not see where this was going.

I absolutely devoured this book. Make sure you clear your schedule when you get this book because you will NOT be able to put it down! If you loved the other two books in this series, this is a MUST-read.

Freida did it again with this outstanding book! Great characters, amazing twists, and a jaw dropping ending as usual! I was intrigued from the very first chapter and stayed that way until the last chapter! There were lovable characters, characters you loved to hate and doubt about said lovable characters! This is a must read for Freida lovers and thriller lovers!

This was the 3rd novel in the Housemaid series and it did not disappoint. I love this author’s books and have read her entire collection. I like her characters and their complexities. Just when you think that you have figured it out - there’s always a twist that you don’t see coming. Millie and Enzo are such a likable couple despite what they have done in their past. It was nice to see their children in this book and see the similarities that they had with their parents. I find the books a quick read because you can’t wait to find out what really happens at the end. Look forward to reading future books from this author and hopefully additional series..

Loads of mystery with The Housemaid Is Watching. Not as much suspense or thrill as opposed to The Housemaid & The Housemaid’s Secret. Absolutely loved seeing Millie as more than just a housemaid, she has established new roles in her life now. Enjoyed reading how the years have passed since The Housemaid’s Secret and what has happened during that time. Even though book #3 took a totally different direction than where I was thinking it would go, I still truly enjoyed the story nonetheless!

ALL HAIL THE QUEEN 👸

Freida McFadden has done it again! I’ve now read every single Freida book ever written, and I am so spoiled by the fast pace and her ability to pull you into a story from the very first paragraph.

This book brings us into Millie and Enzo’s life years after the second book ends. They have two children - Ada and Nico, and they have just bought a house on Long Island and moved their family out of their shoebox apartment in the city. Millie is in love with their new house but quickly starts to question if they have made the right decision. Besides the fact that the house was a little out of their price range they have two neighbors on their little cul-de-sac, and both are a bit questionable. There is one neighbor who keeps her third grade son on a literal leash, and then a husband and wife couple who are obnoxiously snooty. Okay, the wife is snooty (and obsessed with Enzo), and the husband seems nice enough, if not a little whipped. Let’s not forget the neighbors housekeeper who keeps staring daggers at Millie, and who may be a thief.

Soon after moving into the house Nico’s demeanor begins to change. He becomes aggressive and moody, and he starts disappearing and lying about where he’s been. Everything comes to a head when someone is found dead. (This is not a spoiler because we find this out at the beginning of the book, as we do with the other Housemaid books.) But who is the murderer?! I promise the twists will just keep coming. Make sure you’ve got your doctor on speed dial, because by the end you will most likely have a bit of whiplash.

A MILLION THANKS TO BOOKOUTURE AND NETGALLEY FOR THIS EARLY COPY. This is my honest review
