The Housemaid is Watching is the third book in the trilogy. Millie and Enzo has so many adoring fans including me. Loved the book and I did guess half of the twist(only the second time with a Freida book)
I never read the blurb so I was shocked to see the book so far in the future and Millie having kids but Yes, I didn’t even realize I need this!
While it’s not my favorite in the series, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I mean I read it in a day, if that helps.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture/Sourcebooks for an advance copy in exchange for a honest review.

How does Frieda do this to me every time!!! If you are in need of fast-past, yet riveting books, Frieda is your lady! This book was a solid 3.5 star read. Thanks to NetGalley for the digital copy.
I thought The Housemaid is Watching was better than the The Housemaid’s Secret. The Housemaid (first book) was so good, and none can top that one for me, however, this was a close second. Millie and Enzo have made a life for themselves with their two children, and just want to be happy. In true Millie and Enzo fashion, they can’t help but help someone. I was not expecting what happened but I was even more surprised by the Epilogue. Frieda…. Don’t stop with Millie and Enzo, we need More!!!!!

The book is quite different from the first two parts in the series.
Millie is now years into parenting, working her career, and is settled in life. The purchase of a new home which taxes their finances, an upper scale neighborhood with a neighbor or two I wanted to punch, made the first half of this novel great. It was the set-up to an established genre plot line for a good domestic thriller.
I liked getting an insight into Millie's family. I loved the addition of the kids in the book. I enjoyed Enzo & Millie’s relationship and seeing how far they came and learning about their kids & family life but I also was expecting more.
The plot build up was quite good till the first half of the book.
The plot twist that actually comes, it comes quite late and I didn't actually like the timing of the same.
The plot twist was actually good, but the execution wasn't quite working for me. I also find some details quite confusing.
It is a three star read for me with an average thriller experience.

It was good, but not as good as the first two, in my opinion! It’s still a good book that’s classic Freida style, I just think the first two were better. Freida is still my favorite and I will always read her books!

The Freida and Millie show is BACK and it's better than ever!
I loved so much about this book, so where do I start? The setting of this book is several years after book two left us, with Millie and Enzo married with two children and striving to live a normal, suburban life, with their turbulent pasts left far behind them. The first half of the book slowly builds suspense and tension, before the action becomes totally explosive in the second half with some crazy, CRAZY twists that left me reeling.
As they settle in to their new house and hire a maid of their own, Millie becomes increasingly unsettled. She can't bring herself to trust the maid and Enzo is getting too close to one of the flirty neighbours. And then Millie receives a warning: "Be careful of your neighbours".
Of course, where Millie goes, so does murder and with her family implicated in the crime, Millie fears that the past has finally caught up with them.
A fabulous read!
5 ⭐️ Thanks to Netgalley, Freida McFadden and Bookouture, for an ARC in return for an honest review.

I loved this book. I loved the story, the characters, the setting. I wasn't sure where Millie's story would go in this third installment of The Housemaid series, but it quickly became my favorite of the three. I was captivated the entire time, and I did not want to stop reading. Frieda is the queen of twists, and she does not disappoint in this book. If you love twists, and turns, and a fast paced story that you will not want to stop reading, then this book is for you. If you love mystery, and psychological thrillers, then this book is for you, and I cannot recommend it enough!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVED this book!! Absolute page turner. Once I started I couldn't stop! Book 3 in the series was beyond perfect - loved all the twists and turns!

This was a fantastic book, I have enjoyed all the books in this series & this one did not disappoint. I always enjoy any book by Freida McFadden.

Frieda does it again! I read this one in one sitting just eagerly turning the pages! Millions and Enzo are back....but this time with their children in tow! Fast paced and fun....this is what reading is all about y'all! Get sucked in from page one

Millie did work as a housemaid. Now she and her family are moving into the house of their dreams, or is it?
Millie’s husband Enzo is handsome and muscular. He catches the eye of neighbor Suzette as she watches shirtless Enzo doing the moving’s heavy lifting.
Later when Suzette and her husband Jonathan converses with Millie and Enzo , she warns them of the other neighbor Janice who is very nosy.
As the chapters fly by you learn maybe there is a developing attraction between Enzo and Suzette. You also learn that nosy Janice keeps her son on a leash at the bus stop for fear someone might abduct him.
Millie’s son Nico and daughter Ada find a small hidden room behind a wall. Millie is worried her children will learn she was in prison years ago for killing someone.
Each and every character in “The Housemaid is Watching “ has something to hide
Author Freida McFadden writes of neighbors warnings, hidden rooms, murders, liaisons and personal secrets too upsetting to reveal.
Finding out who and what is hidden starts the numerous twists and turns keeping the reader guessing till the tumultuous end.
I highly recommend “ The Housemaid is Watching” to any reader who wants to experience Freida McFaddens story where every character has hidden agendas
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

just like the first one our favourite characters are back and with a vengeance. Millie and her new husband Enzo are now married with an eleven year old daughter Ada and son, Nico. When the two get an offer they cant refuse they up and move to a house that should be well beyond their means but by the luck of the gods their offer is accepted. Now Millie can raise her family like she always dreamed of in a breathtaking home in the suburbs, instead of in a cardboard box in the city. However things aren't always as they seem as drama seems to follow Millie everywhere. With her neighbours watchful eye always on her she starts to question what is really going on here. And if the feeling she is being watched isn't enough the new neighbor, Suzette's, interest in Enzo is enough to push any wife over the edge. With the mercilessly flirting with Enzo and the complete distain towards her and her children Millie starts to think she made a terrible mistake. However when someone is murdered, and Enzo appears covered in blood things really come to light and family secrets start to come out. I went into this book with super high hopes and it blew all of my expectations out of the water. What secrets are Millie and her family hiding? I can't get enough of Millie's character and I loved seeing her and Enzo relationship continue. I think that it's hard to take a thriller book and make it exciting and still full of twists three book in into a series however Freida McFadden did just this. This was the perfect end to a series that I never wanted to see end in the first place. This book was full of the tension and apprehension that I have come to expect from a Freida novel. I love this book from start to finish and couldn't get enough. If there's only one thing I can suggest with this book is clear your schedule because you won't ever want to put this book down. Great read and well I'm very sad to see this series conclude it was the perfect ending to a perfect trilogy check out this book as well as the other two previous ones and your world will never be the same. The best part of this book had to be the ending it set the whole plot on fire and I couldn't stop reading. Great job with so many twists I'm amazed how Freida can keep track of them herself. This book was just as good as the first two and this is a series that is not to be missed. With lots of red herrings I loved trying to figure out what was actually the truth and in true Freida fashion what we think in the beginning is never as it seems and the reveals are always mind blowing. Best seller lists beware you will have a new addition soon. Check out this book because this needs to be read by all thriller fans as well as all Freida fans. Thank you Netgalley as well as poisoned Pen Press for the chance to check this one out.

The Housemaid Is Watching Freida McFadden 4.5⭐️
I’ve loved the previous housemaid books so was keen to read this one asap. I enjoy the writers quick easy going reads with some wild twists.
That prologue certainly drew me in.
After the prologue it dropped to a disappointing slow start. Interesting that it’s jumped several years, good though as I couldn’t remember how the last one ended. Then the burners kick in and it’s a ride and a half! Just when you think you know what’s happening the rug is pulled from beneath your feet. I do enjoy the surprises that the author manages to achieve.
Freida has pulled it out of the bag again, I’m sure her fans will love this latest instalment. It’s one I recommend. The books are best read in order for the character development arc.

4.5/5 Stars
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for early access to one of my most anticipated reads, and it did NOT disappoint.
Note: This is the 3rd book in the series, so there will inherently be spoilers in the description/review. Scroll at your own risk!
General Description:
Millie's back, but in her mom era. With two kids and luck in the market, Millie gets her family out of a small apartment to her dream home on Long Island. However, the cul-de-sac is not what Millie expected. One neighbor relentlessly flirts with her husband to the point where Millie is shocked her husband is allowing this, while the other wants nothing to do with her and keeps her kid on a leash (literally). However, once a dead body is discovered in the cul-de-sac, Millie has to bring back her old ways to figure out how to protect her family while finding the true murderer in the cul-de-sac. Will Millie be able to do it?
All the goodies:
- The callbacks to the other two books in the series were amazing, I loved seeing some surprising characters in this novel.
- Freida is the queen of plot twists and this is on par with the twists in the other Housemaid books.
- I like the personalities of Millie's children. They really added to the story in a way I was not expecting.
- This definitely has a lot of tensions filled, creepy vibes that kept me turning the pages until I was sad it was over. Such a fast-paced book (as always with Freida).
The loss of a half-star:
- I was expecting our most intense book yet. However, I felt it was not as intense/violent as the previous books. Which made it a bit lackluster in that aspect.
Overall, if you're read the other 2 books in the series, I don't see how you could NOT want to continue!!

Millie finally has everything she wished for: a handsome, loving husband, two amazing kids, her dream house, a great job. But, of course, she can never have a normal life. Again, she finds herself surrounded by drama, mystery and murder. As her perfect life is about to crumble, Millie must fight to find the truth in order to protect her family.
As you read, you believe you have the plot figured out, but as always, as it is written in Freida McFadden´s well know style, the many unbelievable twists and her amazing characters will keep you hooked from beginning to end.

Super duper honored to have been chosen to read this amazing book early and of course as usual Frieda did not disappoint in anyway. A continuation of the previous books she brings back all the suspense and edge of your seat hitters she knows so well to deliver through her books. Always when you think you have her story figured out she comes around with the final twist we already expect but still shocks us when we get to see it. Totally amazing and I highly recommend this book and all before it.

I loved this!! Freida never lets me down.. unexpected twist and full of mystery. Millie did slightly bother me more in this book, but Enzo was a little more shady than needed. Overall, it was a great addition to the Housemaid Series.

I am typically not a series person but couldn’t pass up an opportunity to read the latest Freida book! The Acardi family moves out of NYC for a more quiet life. They encounter some trouble with their rich neighbors . As always, I thought I had the villain figured out and was wrong . I enjoyed the subtle tie-ins from the previous Housemaid books !

I was so excited to read this book because I absolutely loved book 1 & 2. That being said this book was average to me. I did still enjoy the story but it wasn’t as great as I hoped.
I loved seeing Millie and Enzo as parents and in a family dynamic but I just didn’t care for this one as much as the other two. It was a bit slower and the twists were a little bit of a let down.
I love Freida and enjoy most of her books but I do hope Housemaid is done after this one.
Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture and Freida McFadden for a copy of the ebook in exchange for my honest review.

This edition of the Housemaid started off slow and seemed to have the same appeal as the first two. I did enjoy the book, but it wasn’t my favorite of the three. I did enjoy the flashbacks to the previous books and the pieces that tied it all together. It was slightly predictable which is unusual for Freida.

Another free great book by Freida! While this book was similar to the first two with the characters, it could be read as a stand alone. I loved reading about Millie in the future and how her past always has a way of catching up with her. Of course Freida always ends her books with a shocking ending that will leave you with your jaw dropped!!
