Very good and well rounded book. Multiple fun stories that become serious and bring family together.
I loved the love story between Willow & Noah and how his little sister was a part of it. It was also funny to see all the crazy stuff Cami, the older aunt got up to while she had amnesia after an accident and thought she was 17 again, I promise you will laugh, be irritated with some family members and find joy if you read this book.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this ARC.
Another fun and heartfelt addition to the Sunshine Bay and Rosetti Family. When Willow learns her job is in jeopardy because of the TV station she works as a meteorologist, might be sold, she tries everything she can to save it. It breaks her heart to think of her coworkers losing jobs too. She is a kind hearted person and you have to laugh at the outfit she has to wear to do the weather. Noah is a teenage crush from her past and when they meet again, sparks are still flying. Second chance romance, rekindled family, humorous moments, friendships, family issues and forgiveness all made this an enjoyable read.
I recently read Three Little Wishes by Debbie Mason, and I have to say, it was a heartwarming and charming read. The story follows Willow Rosetti, a meteorologist in Sunshine Bay who is determined to save the local TV station from closing. In a desperate move, she calls her estranged aunt, Camilla Monroe, a famous actress, to help boost the station's ratings.
When Camilla gets into an accident and suffers from amnesia, she ends up in Sunshine Bay, and Willow must take care of her. As they spend time together, they begin to bond and uncover the secrets of their family's past. With a little bit of scheming and a whole lot of heart, Willow and Camilla work together to save the TV station and heal their fractured family.
The plot is heartwarming, with plenty of humor and moments of emotional depth to keep the reader engaged. The characters are well-developed, and their relationships are explored in-depth. The writing style is engaging and witty, and I found myself invested in Willow and Camilla's story from beginning to end.
Overall, Three Little Wishes is a delightful read that explores themes of family, forgiveness, and love. Debbie Mason has created a charming and relatable story that will leave you feeling uplifted and satisfied. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romantic comedy with heart.
This story definitely had a couple of twists I didn’t see coming, but loved. It was fun being with Willow and summer Noah and then grown-up Noah. I can’t imagine going back to my teenage self. I would certainly do things differently. I love the Rosetti’s and the family that they are. Family is so important. I would certainly take a trip back to Sunshine Bay so I could spend more time with these wonderful folks. I received this book from NetGalley, but my opinion is my own.
Another fabulous book in the Sunshine Bay series! Willow Rossetti is just one of the many passionate Rossetti heartbreakers. Willow is a gentle loving soul who will do anything to keep her beloved Channel 5 news on air, including dressing in ridiculous costumes. Willow is devastated to learn her beloved station is being sold and shut down, so she starts a campaign to convince their new boss not to sell or shut them down. When Willow finds out she has a childhood connection to the new boss, she is more determined than ever to save her station and her friend’s jobs. Noah is an uptight grumpy man who is tasked with getting rid of his ties to Sunshine Bay since the memories of his mom are too painful, and getting his younger sister out of the trouble she finds herself in. He is happy to reconnect with his childhood friend Willow, but unwilling to change his plans for the business. Part of Willow’s plan to save things at the station involves contacting her estranged famous aunt Cami, and hoping her family doesn’t disown her for contacting Cami and trying to get her to town. What Willow didn’t count on was Cami having an accident, and waking up with amnesia believing she is 17 and wanting to see her, unbeknownst to her, estranged family again. This book is funny, fast paced with some major twists, and full of so much heart. I absolutely loved this story, and already can’t wait to revisit Sunshine Bay again! Another fabulous book with amazing characters by Debbie Mason! I received an ARC and this is my honest option.
this is book two in the sunshine bay series but can be read as a standalone... some characters from the first book make an appearance, but it is easy to follow the story.
Three Little Wishes is the perfect book to take you back to Sunshine Bay and the Rossetti family. It is a comical romance full of family drama and the good and bad that goes along with it.
Willow is trying to save her job at the tv station and ends up causing chaos as she brings her famous Aunt and rekindles her long ago summer romance from her teenage years with Noah .
Debbie Mason has a way of creating characters and towns that become endearing to her readers .
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for a copy for my opinion.
This was a wonderful, humorous, impactful and romantic read. Debbie Mason has given us such wonderful character's in the Rossetti family and their friends, it is a joy to read this book. I loved it a little bit more than book one. I thought there was more laugh out loud moments in this books where Willow, Cammie and and Riley get into some situations. And lets not forget the handsome Noah Elliott who even though he tries, he cannot stay away from the lovely and beautiful Willow. This two are magic together. And lets not forget all the wonderful food in this book that will make your mouth water and stir up your taste bud and make you want to start cooking...
I cannot wait for the next Rossetti's book to seen what happens in Sunshine Bay.
Willow Rosetti, resident weather person of Sunshine Bay, never lets anything get her down. She is a force of positivity, even when things aren't going well. For her, nothing could be better than living near her family in Sunshine Bay and working her dream job at Channel 5. Unfortunately, Channel 5 is set to be closed down, and Willow has to take drastic measures to save her job. She calls up her estranged movie star aunt behind her family's back. Upon hearing from Willow, Camilla fears that her long held secrets have finally come to light, and gets into an accident from the shock. Now facing amnesia, Willow has to find a way to manage her aunt who thinks she is a teenager again without her family finding out, save everyone's jobs, and maybe even fall in love.
I was so excited to return to the heartwarming town of Sunshine Bay! This story was a bit chaotic in the best way (I mean, how can it not be when your 47 year old aunt has a case of amnesia that makes her think she's 17 again?). The supporting cast of characters (shoutout Amos) were so lovable and really made it feel complete. I loved Willow and Noah's reconnection after so many years, and I just adored Riley. While I didn't find this story to be as relatable, it was still so fun to get lost in this world. Debbie Mason really writes the most charming quintessential small-town romances.
Thank you to Debbie Mason, Forever (Grand Central Publishing), and NetGalley for the advanced digital copy in exchange for my honest review. This one is due to be published May 7, 2024.
This was a very predictable, but sweet, romance. There was a twist that disrupted the progress of the romance, but things worked out in the end. I do think this story dragged a bit, but it was a fun read.
Debbie Mason writes the perfect small town, sweet romances. And this book was no exception. I loved getting to return to Sunshine Bay. Willow was our quintessential sunshine. With her fun lobster costume that she does the weather in, to her unending optimism. I loved all the escapades she got into trying to do her reports. Add in some second chance, friends to lovers with Noah and we had a recipe for a good book.
We also get the added bonus of her big Italian family and all the drama that entails. Teenaged Cami had me laughing out load with all her antics. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention Amos. Because who doesn't love the token grumpy old man. This was a heartwarming read about not just love, but family and forgiveness. Definite recommend for those looking for a summer/beach read.
Willow Rosetti loves her job and life in Sunshine Bay. She finds out the TV station is be closed down and sold. She contacts her aunt Camilla Monroe a famous actor to come home to be on the local news. Her grandmother, mother and aunt are estranged from Camilla and don't know she is asking her to come home. Camilla is hiding secrets and doesn't plan to return to Sunshine Bay.
Noah Elliot is the owner of the station and when he meets Willow, they realize they spent 3 weeks together when they were fifteen. Sparks are flying between them; but he is still saying he is selling the station. His fifteen-year-old sister shows up, so he has his plate very full.
Meanwhile Camilla suffers an accident in NYC and now has amnesia and thinks she is seventeen and wants to come home to Sunshine Bay.
Wonderful story about righting wrongs and forgiveness.
Loved this story from start to finish. Well developed story with fairy tales and real life interlaced. Loved finding out that mistakes made by the choices made by the characters made the story ever better! Loved how Willow and Noah worked through their true love. Recommend.
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC of Three Little Wishes by Debbie Mason
This was an awesome story, it took a few chapters to hook me and I was trying to figure out how the characters connected, but then it all starts to come together and watch out cause I couldn't put the book down.
Loved the characters, they were well introduced and described, not too many all at once. The setting was great, loved the plot. I loved finding out what was happening next, who was related to who and why. I loved Cami and Willow's character
This is the first novel I have read by Debbie Mason but not the last. I loved her writing style!
I really love this author when I need a read that is like a soap opera. I like how the series are the same town, but feature a different couple (with the past couples making an appearance). This one had an added mystery with the aunt. The plots are predictable, but it is a good drama story.
I had a very hard time engaging in the characters in this book. I felt very scattered despite putting down the book for a bit and trying again. I am a fan of Ms Mason but this book was just not for me.
Three Little Wishes by Debbie Mason is a women’s fiction story hat has two terrific women characters, one younger and one older. Together these women get into some mischief that works for the good of others. A story that shows it is never too late to mend families, give forgiveness and grace. Families are reunited, hearts are healed, thanks to a misfortunate accident. One story that makes your heart light and hopeful but may also bring a tear to your eye a time or two.
This is the perfect beach read. Sit back, relax and enjoy the Rossetti woman in action. Love the characters, the setting, and the plot flows smoothly from scene to scene. Lots of drama, a sprinkle of romance, and of course some fun.
I did not read the first book, and had no problem following along.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is #2 in the Sunshine Bay series. It worked well as a standalone for me since I have not read book #1. Loved the character development. Thoroughly enjoyed the book. Thank you to NetGalley for sharing..
Many thanks to NetGalley and Forever for the advanced copy in exchange for a honest review. Willow Rossetti loves her life as a weather person on channel 5. She good natured and dress as a lobster and finds her self in one mishap after another. When she gets word that the station may close, she reaches out to her estranged aunt, a famous actress she’s never met. When Camilla Monroe learns her estranged niece is trying to contact her, she fears the worst. With the two of them coming together, can they save the station or will it end in utter disaster?
I really enjoyed this book
